Dec 15, 2022Usually, I post pros and cons. But here - just skip it. It's Call of Duty Advanced Warfare in SW universe. It's boring and super woke.

Aug 6, 2021Mechanics are clunky and I never got used to the controls, even after months of playtime. Great idea, great graphics, poor gameplay.

Oct 5, 2020The control scheme for the Starfighters needs improvement, there needs to be more game mode ideas, the story is pointless, the spawn points for multiplayer needs improvement, and the missions are super repetitive after you get through the first half.

Oct 3, 2020After playing the game for 5 hours, total, i delete SW:S from my system. The graphics are the best of the game, maybe the cinematic too. I become headache while playing on a 27" screen with an Xbox Controller. The most time of this game you are searching your enemy until hes past you again, and again and again, annoying.

Oct 15, 2020Nice effort from EA to revive old SW gameplay but 9 hours of solo and a multi which start to be boring very fast for 40$? Especially knowing they had already all possible assets in hands with SW Battlefront, assets and sounds. I would have gave 7 with at least twice the length of solo campaign for this price.

Jan 29, 2021He launched the game and is already abandoned. Disconnection problems during the match. Offline mode only has 1, dogfight is missing. Interesting campaign but they are very bad maps. Poor performance on the VR Rift CV1. Game consumes 100% of the processor and has crashes (i7 9750h). I'm glad that EA Games lost the franchise's exclusivity. It was killing Star Wars Games.

Jun 2, 2021Game is still broken on PS4/PS5 after 8 months after the realease. Now as part of valued Playstation Plus offer, you have the opportunity to play this bugged game for free. Good luck passing Mission 1: Form the Vanguard loading screen after the end of the mission. You likely get stuck and force close the game.

Aug 3, 2022Most time i was fighting with crappie controls ang game mechanics. So cklunky and story really not interesting. Dropped after mission 4.

Oct 7, 2020Corporate Wokeness with more money spent on Diversity Training than fixing bugs and performance.
If the idea of non-binary millennials makes you want to roll your eyes, this game will deeply irritate you.
The tacked on space fighter bits are kind of cool. I guess it is up to the individual if they want to endorse the distasteful politics in order to experience them. -

Oct 3, 2020Good graphics... Just feels empty, like most EA games. I refunded the game. Buy other games.

Mar 15, 2021After the great games SW Battlefront II and Jedi Fallen Order I was really surprised.
The story is no good, gameplay mechanics are underperforming and the game is boring. -

Oct 5, 2020What really drove me mad is that you have to wait 20(!!!) seconds to respawn every time you die. What was the purpose of this? Was it really necessary? Refunded on Steam. Thanks.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 4, 2021The one and only chance to be a space pilot in a galaxy far far away. Living and experiencing adrenaline filled dogfight is simply breathtaking. [Issue#307]

CD-ActionDec 18, 2020To put it simply, Star Wars: Squadrons is a low-budget X-Wing vs TIE Fighter II based off of Battlefront II’s space battles. I admit that I expected more, but after two decades we finally got a new Star Wars sim (leaning towards the arcade side, but still) and I did enjoy it. It looks and sounds like a Star Wars game should, and Motive’s successful effort to balance such dissimilar crafts as the X-Wing and the TIE Fighter is commendable. [12/2020, p.64]

Nov 21, 2020There’s a good concept at the core of Star Wars: Squadrons, as flying a space fighter and managing its systems can be a lot of fun, however, you have to be a very dedicated Star Wars fan to enjoy a drab campaign with just a handful of memorable moments and watered-down multiplayer modes from Battlefront 2.
