    It's the best Trek game to date, which may not be saying much. Reminds me of Bridge Commander on steroids. The voice acting is done by a lot of the real characters which adds to the authenticity. Great for fans, but not likely to win over any new converts.

    Excellent graphics, medium use of game play, and an all star cast on the audio, all-in-all, I think its a very well done star trek game, but not for everyone.

    This game, despite it's little problems, is a blast to play. Anyone rating it lower than an 8 does not know a good one when they play one.

    this game is awsome, i dont understand why people dont like it,the missions are all different with loads of chalenging things to do, the graghics are emense, people dont realise just how hard it is to make these sorts of graghics, its in space, none of its real so the people who made it dont really have a base to work from.

    yea there is one or 2 problems, the controls are anoying yes (if you know how to do the lock on thing mail me), unfortunatly the multiplayer doent work on vista (whitch i have) but i bet they soon bring out a patch to solve it like thay have with basically all the other games in the world
    the performance thing, yea is it anoyin, but they tested it on a brand new computer, and one that has nothing else on it apart from the vital systems, thats is why it lags a bit, our computers have loads of stuff on them and it is amazin just how much it slows the computer down, and all the rubish that biulds up from the internet, defragment your computer that helps a lot, and a easy way to get it to run a LOT smother is to turn down that multi thing to x1, thats what i did and i dont even know what it does but it make a big defference to the performance, with no visable different to the graghic from what i noticed, i just think you all all taking the game the wrong way and arnt looking at just what you have bought

    Despite its long, long list of lazy omissions it's still a game that Trek fans will enjoy -- if only for the voices, fire-photon-torpedoes ambiance, and graphical effects. They'll just have to grit their teeth while they do it.

    The game is challenging enough to make you play for a few hours, but it seems that some slip-ups in overall design have easily diminished all hopes of undertaking a highly immersive and profound space adventure. If it weren't for the technical mishaps and awkward gameplay mechanics, this game would've been a worthy addition to the Star Trek universe.
