    Pros: Game plays like a full length season of Southpark, every character in the show is in the game, retro RPG combat system is easy to use, fun exploring the city of South park.

    Cons. Not enough side quests, armor and weapon selection is limited based on your current level, combat gets boring after awhile, regarding combat if you take more that 3 seconds to decide what to do you get    Pros: Game plays like a full length season of Southpark, every character in the show is in the game, retro RPG combat system is easy to use, fun exploring the city of South park.

    Cons. Not enough side quests, armor and weapon selection is limited based on your current level, combat gets boring after awhile, regarding combat if you take more that 3 seconds to decide what to do you get the same annoying comments from your party member over and over again (Kyle is especially annoying!).

    I am just a casual gamer who is not a fans to the series. The combat and equipment system is quite interesting with variations for different player style. The story is funny as well.

    The only flaws are the high frequency of button mashing, misleading tutorial on the magic learning process, short game time (10 to 15 hours ) and low replay value.     This game was made for South Park fans no doubt about. Amusing game would be a very big understatement. This game knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. Loved the overly ridiculous story-line and all the references to other popular games and TV shows like Skyrim and Game of Thrones.     I am a huge south park fan, and have been religiously following south park since it started. Everything this game was wonderful for me... Except the farting. Now, i got nothing against fartingl In fact, i love fart-humore§. but the fart tutorials were one of the most frustrating experiences i've ever had in any game, which is    It's 100% south park. Everything you'd expect is there.

    In several occasions, you are taught new "fart spells" a la skyrim dragon shouts, but the instructions for them are completely off. If you do not know exactly what you are doing, you might be stuck in those parts for hours. First i thought like an idiot, but then i went and found out lots of people with the same problems.

    You will end up repeating the same small clip of animation from Randy several several times, and it completely halts your game progression.

    Par from that frustration, one of the best games i've played for ages.

    Down to the negatives of the game, I’ll be honest I’m nit picking here. I wish there was more stuff to explore and more stuff to do. I realize that South Park follows the show and all but I think there needs to be more depth to South Park. Some buildings you can enter others you end up walking into one room. Most though you only walk through. The game mechanics I think could use some more effort as most of the time you don’t use half of your abilities simply because you don’t have to or it’s a pain to refill the manna when a good swift slice of weapon will work.    … Expand

    This game is just awesome, I would really recommend it to anyone who want's to play an RPG game. Trust me, this game rocks. Many references from the show are in the game, this game is just sooooo good. However, the swears in the game is one of the things that made this game funny and the characters like Cartman.     Hilarious, NSFW, amazing and addicting. I have no hesitation in saying this is one of the best games I've played in my 20 years of PC gaming. If you're a fan of South Park, this game is a must. If you're a fan of retro-RPG's, this game is a must.

    So much great content hidden in this game.

    If only it were longer (main story took me 8 hours, with most of the side quests I've still not added more than 4 or so hours to that) and less buggy. I had to reload my save a few times due to character flickering or totally disappearing. I also think some of the controls were poorly implemented to pull off attacks (some I found near impossible to get perfect on pc).     As a fan of South Park I can say that I really enjoyed my time with South Park The Stick of Truth, I can recommend to any South Park fan, but I must warn you that if you are not a fan of South Park in general you will probably not like this game at all. Is a little too short for it's price, his RPG mechanics are a little too superficial but AGAIN, for a South Park fan this game willAs a fan of South Park I can say that I really enjoyed my time with South Park The Stick of Truth, I can recommend to any South Park fan, but I must warn you that if you are not a fan of South Park in general you will probably not like this game at all.     For a fan of the show this could be up there with the best games youve ever played. Complete and high quality vs the TV show this is as close as you can get to the perfect spin off when it comes to cross over games. Stunning

    If you want to feel as if you've been transported into a season of South Park as a new character, get this game. If you like to be grossed out and see people push the limits of what can be acceptable humor, get this game.     Great series to compare to. Fallout, 2 and 3 were epic adventures. Just finished it today. This game was seriously one of the funniest game ever. I just love this game and can play it for a long time.

    This game is hilarious. It's a good turn-based RPG, and was a lot of fun to play through. Only problem was the consistent need to use items. It's not that much of a problem, as healing items are cheap and easy to find.

    A really great RPG with really south park in it. The humor is original sout park and the rpg elements with the real time / turn based combat fits perfect.

    I know it is South Park, but the game has far too much focus on ass jokes with farting, pooping, and anal probing taking such a heavy role, and I couldn't stand it anymore. You have a dragon shout from skyrim in the form of a fart that you have to use quite often to push stuff out of of the way, and every time you do it you have to listen to Butters snickering, or Cartman making a stupidI know it is South Park, but the game has far too much focus on ass jokes with farting, pooping, and anal probing taking such a heavy role, and I couldn't stand it anymore. It kind of feels like playing an interactive season of the show. I have heard the game is a bit short, but I wouldn't know as I never got far enough to finish it.    … Expand

    If you like South Park the TV show you're going to love this game. I had a heap of fun wandering round the town and seeing the layout. Best game play I've seen in a turn based RPG, but the fights are a little bit too easy some of the time. This does not take away from the comedy which is absolute gold. BUY THIS GAME!!

    Fun silly and do i even have to talk about the references to the series but a little bit too silly for my taste but can be very mature sometimes but it is not the best game but one of the better RPGs for PC fun to play but not revolutionary

    Well, when i saw the title "South Park", I thought this game is max. 10 minutes of fun. Boy was I wrong... This game starts so good and it keeps getting better and better. The humour is just like the TV Series and the dialogues are so much entertaining. Graphics are superb. You really feel getting sucked into this beautiful world.     (sorry if my english is bad) This game kicks ass! I really wanted the ultimate south park game that is true to the series. I played the game for 20 hours and I'm still playing it. This game is much more then poop & dick jokes, the humor is extremely smart and funny. But how is the actual GAME??? It's freaking awesome and even more fun than Skyrim. The game is beautiful (in south park way)(sorry if my english is bad) This game kicks ass! I really wanted the ultimate south park game that is true to the series.     This took me by surprise, I find myself being caught off guard with their hilarious antics and references to the great T.V. series. I even catch myself being engulfed in the story in a way that I would approach other RPG games. In all I feel this game is flawless when it comes to the large expectations, and will continue to entertain through many play-throughs.

    I echo every positive comment on here. When I originally received this game, I thought it was going to be a money grab for the company, playing off of the fan base for the show. I was totally wrong. The art work is beautiful, the quests are intelligent, the humor is awesome; all around, it's just an incredible game.

    Every since this game was first announced, I couldn't wait to play it. And boy was I pleased after finishing it.
    It was an amazing, over-the-top, hilarious 14 hour long South Park episode, that I was a part of. Gameplay wise, It's like Paper Mario. Graphics wise, you feel like you're watching an episode. The world is filled with references to the show, and I saw a lot of things that I had    Every since this game was first announced, I couldn't wait to play it. The audio is the only part of the game I didn't exactly like, and not because its bad, but because I found that walking around the town, there are only 2 or 3 different songs that played the entire time.
    Overall, the game is absolutely amazing, and the only bad thing about it is it's price.

    The game is extremely fun and has an interesting combat system, it's just WAY too easy! I played on hardcore difficulty and had very little problem defeating the opponents. Especially later in the game, the special moves are way too powerful. Would be a 9+ if designers bothered balancing the game better.

    Very enjoyable game. Good combat mechanics. Graphics and story line in true South Park maner. However once you beat it there isn't much to do afterwards.

South Park: The Stick of Truth could have been easily be named "World of South Park", the humor specific to South Park is all there, you feel just like once of the characters from the series, the plot is great, the battles mechanics work along with the plot(it's not a challenging game, when it comes to fighting), there is lots of adventures10/10, it deserves more from fans of the show. RPG's are my favorite type of games and when you put a good show with my favorite type of game I'm going to buy it no matter what. I liked the game and it was funny and you should buy this game really buy it when its on sell.     I didn't expect anything from this South Park RPG, but The Stick of Truth is one of the best license games ever made. It's as obnoxious as the TV series, as it should be. The script is made with love and the RPG elements fit in to the franchise like a glove. [March 2014]
