    Heavily underrated. Who ever criticise it comparing it to DMC hasn’t beat the game. It’s a masterpiece and people are acting as if is a bland copy. The first 2 hours might be a bit stiff if you want every move immediately, but when it picks up it’s a blast. Must. Buy.

    excellent game with mechanical details. I found the choice of using two types of crystals very innovative. the characters are well written and the design is very nice. beautiful graphics and very clear. I recommend purchasing. don't believe the low grades, they did review bombing!

    Great, surprisingly deep combat, very dark and detailed atmosphere, nice voice acting, interesting plot and dialogues, meaty content with many missions. All that for 40 euros. We get full priced ""triple A"" garbage games for double the price. For me it's a masterpiece.     I recommend ANYONE to buy it even just to wipe thier mouth off the usual titles trattabile are inferior to this game. Advice it.

    Marvelous hack and slash, it reminds me a lot of dmc and bayonetta really recommended for lovers of the genre and for who want to try it

    Se volete giocare un bel titolo italiano ve lo consiglio caldamente. Ottime meccaniche di gioco,grafica molto pulita, accattivante. Non trovo assolutamente la camera scomoda anzi. Amo i campi larghi che ogni tanto vengono utilizzati nelle inquadrature. Mi piace come hanno caratterizzato i personaggi e il design delle protagoniste é molto bello.     A very solid entry in the hack and slash arena. Gorgeous character design, tense combat, and a great story to boot. Soulstice also features a really cool dual-character mechanic with a fairly robust skill tree for one of the characters with no respec penalties, which is pretty nice when it comes to combat experimentation. Fans of the genre will not want to pass this up!

    Combat pace and camera management can be improved, but it's really satisfying slashing everything.

    The game, for how much it costs and what it offers (It is not made from a triple A and I don't remember they ever compared it to triple A games) it works, it is entertaining and it is visually beautiful. Clear has flaws but I don't think it's something that ruins the game.

    The art style is beautiful and immersive!! The combat system is very nice and intuitive. Sometimes the camera is a bit weird but, overall is a GREAT GAME! Recommended

    Not sure why the zoomers struggle with the camera angle, this is a homage to DMC/Bayonetta so if you've played either or was a 90's gamer you will be fine. Its clearly aimed at fans of the genre. The game is a blast

    Really Nice game for an Indie House. Need to accustom to tha cam but is similar to Resident Evils cam so nothing to worry about. Really nice design, really nice story, really nice soundtrack!

    Thoughts-
    Admittedly, some enjoyment of Soulstice may be gained or lost immediately depending on your personal experience with classic 3D action games. Soulstice proudly lives and dies by the same sword. Somebody who just got into the action genre within the last ten years or so might feel very differently about the game’s often fixed camera and highly linear layout than somebody who has fond memories of God of War 2. It’s also not helped much by some average-to-okay voice acting and writing, and the generic early 2000’s video game music is a pretty big missed opportunity as well. Still, regardless of the type of action you’re most comfortable with, Soulstice gets more than enough right with modern and classic ideas to be worth pushing through its few hang-ups.    … Expand

    Its a very good game i personally like linear story driven games and the combat is very fun too
    Although the repetetive environments and the bad pacing of the game which makes the game longer than it should be are the problems but overall a very enjoyable experience that i would recommend to anyone that like this type of linear game

    I’m loving Soulstice! If you are a fan of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta style action you will love it too. Especially at 39.99 it is a long game with lots of skills to unlock, many different enemy types and all sorts of secrets and alternate routes you can take. I think people are mostly turned off that it doesn’t have a mobile camera you can control. Most of the time it’s static anglesI’m loving Soulstice! If you are a fan of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta style action you will love it too. Especially at 39.99 it is a long game with lots of skills to unlock, many different enemy types and all sorts of secrets and alternate routes you can take. I think people are mostly turned off that it doesn’t have a mobile camera you can control. Most of the time it’s static angles like in the old DMC and RE games. Other than boss battles that are usually in a large arena and then you have full control of the camera. I think people’s expectations are way out of control for a brand new game that is only 39.99 and is beautiful on PC. I only have a i7 with rtx 3050 ti and have had no issues!     I was looking after Miles Morales for something similar, faster and more normal gameplay and found this cool game.

    I liked the maximum difficulty, fights, but some bosses are impossible without taking damage, and if you replay, then it's too long and there are no control points, that is, the boss fight is not divided into two or three control points, because there is a boss fight for 8 minutes, and one 15 minutes lasted with a fat man three meters tall, and you have to replay a lot.
    Intermediate between the bosses along the way - a lot of monsters impossible without damage and sometimes even with damage. Half of the weapon don't need.
    And antirespect for nudity!!!
    Do not interfere with games with nudity, etc.

    Good puzzles.
    One more nice thing in the game, that you switch the subtitles.

    And despite the fact that the gameplay is fast, thank God, anyway, the player reacts faster than the character but the character does not react for that fraction of a second and takes damage, that is, the character is slow, how? because the opponents are also fast and they are faster than the character!!! The player reacts faster than the character and loses through no fault of their own and must spend time on replaying. There were more problems with the bosses, not fairness, keep that in mind, videogame developer.
    Challenge, this is not masochism - there is a difference.
    That is, if a person participates in a race, this is a challenge, but shoving sticks into his wheels is no longer a challenge.

    Soulstice is a game that feels ripped from years past and it would have been at home on a PS2/3 this game wears its influences on its sleeve from anime as well as other games and pulls your in for a delightful romp through it's world.

    The gameplay gets compared to games like Devil May Cry and the influence is there though I feel combat in Soulstice is a bit slower and more deliberate it isn't a carnival of combos to the extent of DMC but you can get some nice combos going. The designs for bosses and their fights was vastly enjoyable.

    I know the biggest compliant is around the camera for the game I didn't find it to be that much of an issue but I've played so many titles with similar cameras it is a minor issue.    … Expand

    Nice art style and design, deep combat mechanics with a steep learning curve.
    The bad:
    Mobile camera is not exactly intuitive, nor enjoyable in small spaces.

    Fixed camera, depending if you like old dmc.

    The game is really nice , the combat system is flowing and frantic , the grapichs are detailed , texture really precise , but yes the camera is your enemy , and all this 0 are trolling XD

    The only con I can find in this excellent game is the camera, in some situations/fights is a bit unresponsive and unintuitive and not easy to control while fighting, but the overall gaming experience is excellent, helped with a flawless graphic compartment and combat mechanics.

    Despite the plot is not entirely original, it's coherent and has some curious points. The environment is immersive and enjoyable, even if we can find some empty places in the background.
    Experts of the    Game with "Devil May Cry" style but a surprising more entertaining, dynamic and challenging combat system, which is the the best part of the game since you fight for the 75% of the time.
    Despite the plot is not entirely original, it's coherent and has some curious points. The environment is immersive and enjoyable, even if we can find some empty places in the background.
    Experts of the genre could find exploration linear and the platforming too easy, but that's not the main content.
    In general for being an AA game it's GREAT.
    The camera is impossible to control manually but the autoaim and autotarget configs works well.
    Soundtracks are OK, neither terrible or fantastic, we won't remember this game for them.
    Gameplay is around 20h long, totally worth the time since they will fly in a blink of an eye    … Expand

    Don't listen to these dorks who can't do a linear game with a fixed camera. All they want is open world redundant **** over and over because they're losers who want to "explore" for 100 hours because they have nothing else to do with their lives. Soulstice is a solid game. Cool characters and monsters.

    Ich bin mir wirklich sehr unschlüssig, ob mir das Spiel gefallen hat oder eher nicht.

    Es wurde sich stark an DMC orientiert und der Endfight ist fast 1:1 DMC4.
    Man läuft eigentlich nur von Gegnerbereich zu Gegnerbereich und zwischendrin gibt es Bosse, was ich zwischendrin aber sehr vermisst habe ist mal tiefgründige Story! Es gibt schon ab und zu Storysequenzen etc. aber auch in der Erinnerungswelt fühlt es sich eher nur so an: "hier hast du noch etwas Story, damit du nicht traurig bist, ok?"

    Es sieht alles ganz schön aus, wenn auch recht gleich, liegt aber am Setting, das recht düster ist, ich habe allerdings etwas düsteres erwartet, jetzt kein Horror, aber irgendwie war nicht wirklich heftiges dabei. Ich hab mich eher wie auf einem Spaziergang mit meiner Schwester in Form eines Rachefeldzugs gefühlt.

    Der Spaziergang war allerdings keineswegs leicht, denn vor allem bei diesen Sprungpassagen war die Kamera so schrecklich, für´s Auge musste man eher absichtlich daneben springen, damit man auf der Plattform landet, ansonsten war die Kamera zwar auch nicht optimal aber zumindest ausreichend.

    Das Ende ab Mission 23 war dann schon wirklich sehr sehenswert: spielen - ein Haufen Story - spielen - ein Haufen Story. Die Storysequenzen sahen alle sehr schön aus, wirklich gut gemacht, aber zwischen durch hätte gerne mehr sein können. Die Sprecher waren auch teilweise echt schrecklich, als ob sie gerade Englisch gelernt hätten und wie ein Lehrer auf die Aussprache nach Lehrbuch achten.

    Fixed camera makes leading the player so complicated. The game is mediocre at best. Levels seem all the same, no environment variation. Combat is confusing and distracting because when you perform moves with Briar, then soon after you see on screen hints to perform other moves with Lute and you have little to no time. I also found spoken interaction with other characters to be flat and monotonous.

    The developers responsible for ‘Soulstice’ took a good look at the ‘Devil May Cry’ series. The dark, sinister atmosphere in the desolate world from the game is spot on, and you almost effortlessly conjure smooth and flashy battles from the controller. So where does it go wrong? In the way the camera works. It is mostly fixed, but jumps between scenes, suddenly taking you in completely the wrong direction. The clumsy and awkward way the game handles this is your most difficult opponent.

    My 14 hours purging Ilden of evil was an enjoyable experience, even with all of the gimmicks presented throughout the journey. Replayability is encouraged with various difficulty options, though I’m unlikely to play through it again. I would, however, love to experience the rest of the Holy Kingdom of Keidas in a sequel to Soulstice! This game is a good first step, but it will be up to future entries to refine the experience into the series it could become.

    Though it may seem like an homage to the famous Japanese title, Soulstice is an action game with its own interpretation of the genre and gives a different type of joy. Its splendid visual and crisp action control enhance the overall experience. However, dizzy and limited point of views with repetitive backgrounds are the ones that hinder the immersion.
