    Soulstice does itself no favours by borrowing heavily from Bayonetta, and then falls short of its inspiration in every area. At best this is a functional but uninspired character action game. At worst it's a poor appreciation of the genre's finer points, stacking up systems that detract from the purity of exhilarating combat.

    Soulstice wants to brings back that hack'n slash magic that made GoW and DMC the classics that are today while adding a few tricks out of its sleeve which make it stumble in a few areas, but not enough to make it trip while presenting an interesting new addition to the genre.

    Soulstice would have deserved a 7 if it was not for the problematic camera movement which completely destroys the gaming experience.
