    Soulstice would have deserved a 7 if it was not for the problematic camera movement which completely destroys the gaming experience. So bad, hope the devs can fix the issue with a future update and give us free camera to enjoy the game

    I don't understand why the hell did they opt for fixed camera instead of letting the player move the mouse freely during exploration areas! This is a total put-off and it is implemented so badly you can't even see where loot is located, paths are troublesome to explore, everything is confused and lacks order. For me it's a big NO!

    Seasickness catches me whenever I play this game with that silly fixed camera. Please remove it and introduce free camera motion

    unfortunately, Soulstice is severely harmed by its senseless and stupid camera. And it's a shame, because the game is otherwise nice with good art style and level design. But the camera issue is so big it changes playing to Soulstice into a complete nightmare

    Lots of problems with weapons, uninspired level design, terrible camera make this a very bad Bayonetta and DMC clone

    Feste Kamera ist sehr schlecht. Es hat mein Spielerlebnis total ruiniert. Ich konnte das Spiel wegen dieses großen Problems nicht weiterspielen

    camera is fixed and the game is unplayable unless you like to throw up. Any direction you go with that cam is a mess

    The truth: it's a beautiful game, with decent art style, cool level design and characters but ruined by absurd fixed cam which makes controlling the character a disaster

    1. you have to press a key every time during dialogues to make them go on ; 2. camera is unmovable which makes level scouting so annoying ; 3. the game heavily stutters during combats and when lots of graphics effects appear on screen ; 4. it is so hard and annoying to control 2 characters with 2 different move sets during chaotic battles; 5. it offers nothing more than DMC and Bayonetta did

    Het was een prachtig spel met een mooie art-stijl, maar het wordt vernietigd door die vaste camera die moeilijk te verkennen levels maakt. Bovendien zullen mensen die aan misselijkheid lijden ernstige problemen hebben om het te spelen

    yes, camera is the only big defect in this game. But it's a defect so serious it makes playing the whole adventure very tedious and bothersome. You'll have stomach ache while playing some sections because of bad camera, seriously I'm not kidding your stomach will suffer. Sometimes it forces you to stop playing and restart later (if you can). Hope they can fix the issue because it's veryyes, camera is the only big defect in this game. But it's a defect so serious it makes playing the whole adventure very tedious and bothersome. You'll have stomach ache while playing some sections because of bad camera, seriously I'm not kidding your stomach will suffer. Sometimes it forces you to stop playing and restart later (if you can). Hope they can fix the issue because it's very irritating and it has wrecked this otherwise beautiful game… Expand

    when I played the game, the first thing I thought was what a waste of potential: beautiful settings, good narration, cool duo with Briar and Lute, nice graphics, fast and cool battles. But all the above mentioned is demolished and wiped out by the inconsistent locked camera. Why that??? I'd like to make a plea to the developers: could you please release a patch asap to unlock the camera?when I played the game, the first thing I thought was what a waste of potential: beautiful settings, good narration, cool duo with Briar and Lute, nice graphics, fast and cool battles.     Some people compare this game to the Devil May Cry series, however it is very far from that. The main characters are arguably the worst part. They have no charisma and are written very poorly. The combat is repetitive and the graphics are merely serviceable. Sound is ok as is the enemy designs. However the game feels rushed with a some bugs. Perhaps this can be fixed with a patch.     we're not in mid-90s with fixed camera, pixels and point and click games. We're in 2k22 with powerful graphics cards and PCs. Pointless camera restriction which makes Soulstice very annoying to play

    Pevná kamera je vážný problém. Nemůžete se volně pohybovat. Je těžké sledovat postavu očima a čím více budete hrát, tím více budete pociťovat bolest hlavy. Škoda, že to úplně zničilo hru

    It's like the 100th version of the same story you usaly see in animes. Hot(?) girl gets inhuman powers to fight universal forces of evil, also her kind is being despised by others.
    The level designs are so repetitive, I had the constant feeling of seeing the same map ower and ower again. Animations are like a low budget disney series. The characters    Blank, repetitive, wavy quality.

    The level designs are so repetitive, I had the constant feeling of seeing the same map ower and ower again.
    Animations are like a low budget disney series.
    The characters also to be honest.
    Even Stefanie Joosten's voice is somehow irritating after a while

    Sabit kamera bu oyunun en büyük hatasıdır. Oynarken kendinizi kötü hissettiriyor, kusmanız gerekiyor gibi görünüyor. Güzel dünyaya ve renkli seviyelere bakmanıza izin vermez. Gelecekteki bir güncelleme ile düzeltilmesi gerekiyor

    The developers responsible for ‘Soulstice’ took a good look at the ‘Devil May Cry’ series. The dark, sinister atmosphere in the desolate world from the game is spot on, and you almost effortlessly conjure smooth and flashy battles from the controller. So where does it go wrong? In the way the camera works. It is mostly fixed, but jumps between scenes, suddenly taking you in completely the wrong direction. The clumsy and awkward way the game handles this is your most difficult opponent.

    My 14 hours purging Ilden of evil was an enjoyable experience, even with all of the gimmicks presented throughout the journey. Replayability is encouraged with various difficulty options, though I’m unlikely to play through it again. I would, however, love to experience the rest of the Holy Kingdom of Keidas in a sequel to Soulstice! This game is a good first step, but it will be up to future entries to refine the experience into the series it could become.

    Though it may seem like an homage to the famous Japanese title, Soulstice is an action game with its own interpretation of the genre and gives a different type of joy. Its splendid visual and crisp action control enhance the overall experience. However, dizzy and limited point of views with repetitive backgrounds are the ones that hinder the immersion.
