Behemoth is one of the most impressive VR role-playing games (so far), but comes with a few rough edges in terms of story and combat.

Skydance’s Behemoth impresses with its massive giants and ambitious ideas but struggles to maintain consistent excellence. Repetitive gameplay and graphical compromises hold it back, yet it remains a solid VR experience, especially for those seeking epic battles and a dark atmosphere.

Skydance's Behemoth is a powerful, epic, and incredible game, just like the colossi roaming the Wastelands. At the same time, however, it is an adventure that could have benefited from more variety: not a must-have for all headset owners, but undoubtedly a recommended experience for those who love fantasy tones and are looking for a game with visceral combat. Skydance's Behemoth is therefore yet another good VR adventure released at the end of a year that had, instead, started off on the wrong foot. Hopefully, this is not just a lucky exception and that 2025 will continue on a trend where we find ourselves wearing a headset more and more often to experience memorable adventures.

Overall, Skydance's Behemoth holds a great concept and when it is running properly, it is a blast to play. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this game in its current state as you will quickly become frustrated at the bugs littered within this game. However, when they are inevitably fixed, this game will surely live up to its initial potential.

The shortcomings of Behemoth are numerous and sometimes frustratingly severe. Many design decisions, bugs and technical flaws make the game a test of patience. What began as an ambitious VR project with a great concept ends up as an unfinished and chaotic experience that often leaves players with more frustration than joy.
