Intruduces the world to great characters like Eileen that can stir up emotion from a stalker like creepiness to feeling of wanting to protect her. Walter Sulivans legend and story is one of the best and weirdest horror tales of all time.
    After SH4s reception Konami gave the franchise to American studios, who absolutely butchered the frachise, creating not only bad SH games but some of the worst games in general.. SH 4 has stood the test of time and should be much more appreciated today..
    The game itself definently has a new feel for the franchise, there the fps perspective and a hub world. But that core japanese horror feel is in tact and its very good in terms of exploration combat ,etc. To this day its one of my favorite horror games.    … Expand

    SH4 is a PIECE OF CRAP. Yeah I gave 3 for the graphics and the probably good story until now (I've just started). SH4 nightmare is itsSH4 is a PIECE OF CRAP. NO, they aren't different and innovative and original or whatever..they are STUPID and ANNOYING. It's puzzling to me how could a game company release a game with that kind of controls. It just ruined everything. I'm curious to know how the story unfolds but I don't think I'll get over the controls. I want the GAME to give me a challenge NOT the game ENGINE.… Expand
