    awesome combat system and environments. Very few bugs. The aging idea as lives is well executed, and works well for the roguelite aspect of the game.
    The team who made this game was attacked by jason "the cockroach" (((schreier))) without any merit, proven by the fact that the game is fantastic.

    The longnose "journalist" feasts in sowing dissent, and should be disregarded

    Absolutely fantastic beatem-up roguelike. Some of the most satisfying combat I've played, right up there with From Softwares. Art direction is also stellar. Really hoping for added content and eventually a Sifu 2

    Sifu-это игра про то, как ты будешь учиться в нёё играть от 2 до 3 часов. Игра частенько забывает тебе объяснить как работают какие механики , ты будешь ненавидеть её, не понимать, но тебя будет тянуть. А кто вообще был к примеру в курсе , что, чтобы купить навсегда навык надо купить его 3! МАТЬ ЕГО! 3 РАЗА!!!!! Об этом в игре ни слова. Но почему же все же 10/10? Да ни почему, потому что яSifu-это игра про то, как ты будешь учиться в нёё играть от 2 до 3 часов.     It's not for everyone, but if you enjoy the more arcadey style of gaming where you repeat levels over and over until get your perfect run/score then you'll like this.

    Its like Nex Machina. Short if you manage to beat it in a single run, but hours and hours of fun if you challenge yourself to master the mechanics and stay as young as possible throughout.     One of the best games ever made. This game got a very good and stylish graphics also the gameplay is awesome. If you like fighting games, you will love it too. And the OldBoy reference is so nice. Thanks a lot who made this game.

    Amazing artwork and music. All moves are exciting and make you a master of the Kong-Fu! The ideia is simple and good. Its challanging and you must learn how to fight. Its not a smash button game! Must play!

    It's like this game was created for me. Pure gameplay and action. Juicy, thoughtful fights where you need to use every aspect of the game to be successful. I could not find a use for just a couple of techniques, everything else works and is useful in different situations.

    I realize that ı'm real hungry to fighting games like that. This game is absolutely perfect. Theme, maps, fighting techniques are absolutely breathtaking. I recommend it for everyone to play this masterpiece. Thank you SLOCLAP for let me adding this artwork to my library.

    Good game, cool combat system, good music, unique and beautiful locations and a simple plot. The game is not for everyone, but it is worth a try to play it.

    Sensacional, só merecia mais reconhecimento esse jogo mas infelizmente foi ofuscado por conta de outros lançamentos que na minha opinião são inferiores, mas enfim... SIFU é um jogo que te faz muita raiva mas ativa seu instinto vingativo pra derrotar todos os inimigos, você tem que se concentrar bastante pois tem que saber a hora certa de aplicar os golpes e a hora de se defender

    Intense and bleeding with style. If you're into beat 'em ups and Asian cinema, this is a no-brainer. It's a rare combination that's even more rare because of how good it is.

    Genuine fun. Demanding but rewarding. Love the animation, the feeling, how the story unravel by finding clues and returning to previous levels. So good!

    You are going to suffer, and you better like it.

    Ever wondered how a kung fu movie would look like if it was playable? Just play this monstrosity of a game.
    It's hard, it's cinematic, it's fluid. Crazy learning curve? You bet. Button mashing won't take you far, but learning timing and making smart decisions will be rewarded. Truly an empowering game.

    Also one of the rare games that aren't broken on release (which seems to be standard in gaming these days).

    Великолепный beat em up в духе восточных единоборств. С большим удовольствием убил несколько вечеров. Для полного прохождения необходимо перепроходить одни и те же локации по нескольку раз, что может поднадоесть. Но в целом бешеная динамика и хорошее звуковое сопровождение дарят незабываемые эмоции :)))Великолепный beat em up в духе восточных единоборств. С большим удовольствием убил несколько вечеров.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Sifu is a great video game with only a few flaws bringing it down. The game is the true definition of quality over quantity. I'm glad they didn't sell it on full price cuz that would cause a **** show. The things that confuse me is that short games that cost 50$ or more have existed and very little people actually complained about it. Like Capcom for example created RE 8 which was only 8-10 hours long and it cost 60$. I think the reason these games aren't complained as much is because of its high replayability. Sifu falls into that same category but with a cheaper price. It took me a solid 10 hours to complete the game and it was an absolute blast. As an avid fan of old style martial arts movies, this game truly captured all of that love. The level design is outstandingly good with a great soundtrack. The game only has a total of 5 levels but all of these levels are so diverse and memorable that you would probably visit them again even after finishing. The story might seem very simplistic at first but when you take your time to look at all the clues that were given to you and figure out exactly what happened, that's where the story hits all of its marks. Is it the best story ever made? no, but it is a good enough story that fits and supports the gameplay very well.

    My only problems with this game are the following:
    1. The Camera
    The camera is just really bad. Just as bad as Sekiro imo. The amount of times I've been stuck in a corner and being able to see nothing is insane. There's also a lack of a quick turn button like in God of War. Since the game's camera is placed right behind your player, you can't see what's behind you and it's a problem since the game wants you to fight multiple foes. Turning the camera around is way too slow to be manageable.

    2. Lady Kuroki's boss design is kinda poor. The game wants you to use weapons to fight her but they never give you any weapons to fight her with. You gotta bring it to her and preserve the weapon's durability and it doesn't feel like the right way to play. It feels like I'm trying to cheese the boss and this could've just been fixed if they had just given me a weapon right before her boss fight. Also, her 2nd phase is much easier than her first, I have no idea why. I don't think bosses are supposed to be like that as a fan of Souls games.

    3. The Tower level has a lot of missed opportunities. It is not a bad level by any means but it is the weakest compared to the rest of them. Imagine being able to fight at the top of the tallest building in the world? Inside the elevator like in Captain America The Winter Soldier? They didn't do any of that which was a missed opportunity.

    I've heard people mention that the combat in the game is mid because of its lack of combos. I don't agree with that sentiment at all. Sure the combos might not be as stacked as Tekken or DMC but this is a tight 8-10 hour long game so too much combos would feel misplaced and not fitting. I also think the game could maybe benefit with a style meter like in DMC, that's not a flaw just mentioning something that could maybe work.
    Overall, this game is **** great and exceeded my expectations which was already pretty damn high. The hits, animations, sound effects and enemies are so cool and it just feels exactly how it should feel. Definitely one of the best games to be released this year    … Expand

For example, the bosses that you have already met and mini bosses. Some people say that there are few levels, but I disagree. There are as many levels as there are antagonists. As for me, this is just the golden mean. Better fewer levels, but very elaborate, than many, but empty. There is something to criticize the game for. The camera sometimes turns completely in the wrong direction where I want and I have to periodically fight with it while they beat me. It happens on the wall. I parried and the enemy pushed me to the wall, where I stop seeing him, as well as myself, including. In a game where everything is built on the reaction, this is a problem. The only way out is not to stand against the wall. There are sometimes annoying bugs that will get you stuck on the level.     The game's true action peaks are not in the boss parts (where it's more about epicentres of frustration), but in the mass brawls that match the best scenes from films like Raid or Kill Zone. Actually, it's even better, because here you are in the lead role and you take everyone on in a very personal and dynamic and vigorous way. [Issue#320]

    Sifu is still a solid action game that feels tailor-made for those willing to put in the time to learn the systems. The subsequent patches have opened up the game to more players who lean on either side of the difficulty spectrum, but it remains challenging even if you try to make the game as easy as possible. The main adventure is a more than satisfying romp thanks to the deep fighting system. The new Arenas mode adds loads more life to the game, even if your only interest is seeing which movies get referenced in a given scenario. Players on both the Xbox platforms and Steam are rewarded for their patience with a very good game, while the Arenas mode alone gives owners on other platforms and stores a big reason to return to Sifu.
