    What do you get by crossing Witcher, Fallout, Planescape Torment, Thief and Commandos? That's right, you get this very game. Seven is a game that I always wanted to play - I can loot everything, kill anyone (but most of the time only if I manage to sneak up on them), craft stuff, climb obstacles and reach every part of the ground that I can lay my eyes on. Whoah! This game is AMAZING! ButWhat do you get by crossing Witcher, Fallout, Planescape Torment, Thief and Commandos? That's right, you get this very game. Seven is a game that I always wanted to play - I can loot everything, kill anyone (but most of the time only if I manage to sneak up on them), craft stuff, climb obstacles and reach every part of the ground that I can lay my eyes on. Whoah! This game is AMAZING! But that's not all. I like to approach quests my own way and this is pretty much te first game that gives me that opportunity. I'm not forced onto one path. I don't have to sneak-kill all the guards and avoid security cams if I can kill one and change into his clothes. Or maybe I'll find another way around. Or talk to someone. Now that's the way of play I truly love. The creators must have been playing and hosting an awful lot of traditional RPG sessions.… Expand

    An interesting spin on a sub-genre in which it is all too easy to merely do the same as the competitors. This game is a breath of fresh air to all ARPG fans.
    Stealth works great.
    Parkour can be limited in some areas but is still a very interesting twist.
    Combat is decent, simple but does its job.
    Story is interesting with good characters
    Side content adds a lot more than merely fetch-quests.

    Its a solid rpg made by people who care about what they give. I played the game with no problem and no big bugs. The game feels nice and the story is worth a while. Its a solid 8.

    Amazing stealth RPG in a world with Fallout feel. It starts a bit slow, but after first mission/tutorial you get to the open world with loot, stealing and pickpocketing. I didn't finish exploring the first city after 2 hours.

    Criminally underrated and underrepresented, Seven: The Days Long Gone is the sleeper hit of the year. A very interesting and enjoyable blend of old-school top-down isometric RPG and the parkour mechanics of games like Assassin's Creed and Mirrors Edge. Very lengthy and interesting story for the cheap $30 price tag. HIGHLY recommended.     Interesting mix between stealth and open world game located in a captivating setting.
    As of today, there are too many bugs that make the gameplay a chore, and a documentation that is quite lacking.
    I suggest that you wait some patches before buying.

    Main character is kind of boring even if his possessing demon brings some spice to his really bad scripts. Universe is rich but you don't really have any impact on it, there's nothing much exciting about most of the quests and you'll never have a choice in any situation.

    Openworld isn't really an openworld, most places are locked behind visas anyway and exploration is really linear. Map and quest tracking is really outdated and doesn't help either.

    Overall this game seems quite dated even if they tried to make something new with such old mechanics (isometric gameplay) and after many hours i feel more frustrated than really entertained. Sadly more time to polish the game would have solved many issues.    … Expand

    A stealthy Cyberpunk game by a team of former The Witcher developers?! Sounds like a MUST BUY and first reviews by trusted sites are very positive.
    Can't wait to find the time to get lost in that world.

    In my opinion game have many bugs. The graphics are average. History is bored. The game play is simple and bored. The fight consists in pressing two buttons quickly. I play one hour and i deleted game, because it is not my type. Mayby if you like this type games, you may like it.

    There are many annoying things in this game. The isometric vision is not compatible such a large map like this. Maybe this is the main reason that orientation is very difficult in this game many times.

    The game does have the stealth element and it's somewhat broken but still quite fun!

    You are always spotted even if you are under disguise. That is the broken stealth mechanic IMO. But on if you crouch you won't be heard but can still be seen. You can crouch + run (which is an unusual way to move) but that is the way to be in stealth. Keep moving from hiding spot to the next one.

    Another way that stealth mechanic is broken is that you can see a very limited range of area around you. You can't spot an enemy moving towards you until it's too late. You can use your "sense" but it will slow down time, not stop it. Meaning that the enemy is still moving towards you. And you would need to keep doing it almost every 2 seconds if you truly want to spot an enemy from a little distance.

    I also found lots of crates that I could loot but hardly anything worth looting. It was all worthless junk except for a food item or two. That makes the looting mechanic broken as well.

    The worst offenders in the game are the broken map system the objective frequently disappears from the view. And the locked camera. You reach your objective but have no idea about which floor it is at.

    Also, there's a fast travel option that doesn't work. You need to manually activate each station and that involves searching for an unknown device that could be literally anywhere. It doesn't show up on the map.

    The upgrades are next. You can get upgrade devices on the map. But unlocking them is of no use unless you own that skill. And owning a skill seems impossible. I spent 15 hours and yet didn't discover any new skill.    … Expand

    I liked the idea behind this game and the presentation is good too but the excessive reliance on a complex series of key combinations is unnecessarily old school and not in a good way. Why for example do you need to press the space bar to move through a verbal exchange. I do not understand either way you can subdue an opponent, steal either uniform and then no wear it to deceive adversaries? This would have added great depth to this game as well.

    On the upside nice graphics, a clever idea and interesting challenges but for me the incessant key combo's quickly became tiresome and annoying.

    Great potential and ambitions, but lackluster results. I liked stealth, but the combat is barebone, the character progress is weak, and limited inventory wastes enormous amounts of time. Also on a technical level there are a lot of issues. However, quests are good, and investigating the open world feels nice.

My other problem was the nonsense complexity. There are so many items, weapons, upgrades in the game but most of them ar nearly useless.     I feel like lot of people hate this game but I enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful settings, interesting story and fun gameplay.

    Seven combines parkour, stealth, and larceny with an intriguing setting to create an incredibly enjoyable isometric RPG experience that's slightly dampened by perpetual glitches.

    Playing Seven: The Days Long Gone feels more like a workout than a relaxing session of gaming but there is a good game here, the player just needs to work for it.
