Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story nails the Cantonese-flavoured, paranormal horror aspect, but fails as an adventure game. Apart from the bugs, untrustworthy mechanics that can erase an hour of progress just because something didn't work as intended, and the lack of a decently told story, this is mainly hard to recommend because its main gameplay loop revolves around running back and forth between the same handful of rooms, trying to "convince" an item to be picked up, by first finding a reason to… even though you've already done so.

    Pretty good so far.
Love having elements others shy away from while still having legitimate game play and story.

This is really an adventure game like the Old School Sierra Point and click titles and more popular Monkey Island games that came a bitThis is really an adventure game like the Old School Sierra Point and click titles and more popular Monkey Island games that came a bit later. (If your into gaming history, those game are a must play) .But these days adventure games seem more directed at a much younger audience. "Sense" with its more mature and intelligent story and character was a real treat for an old school adventure fan. The setting and story is an interesting look on consumerism and the trappings on every day convenience from tech. The Music is a real stand out, very haunting and well cyberpunky. But the real star of the Show is the Art work, if you into Japanese Anime, this game creates a beautiful and atmospheric experience.
While a a game is could definitely use some polish, the price is reflective of its "Non tripple A "State, and nothing is game breaking. and if you miss Those old school point and click adventures, like Kings Quest and Heroes Quest, but a bored with the childish settings of most of these games these days, then Sense might be worth a look.
