Even with all its drawbacks it managed to hold my attention and interest with its intriguing plot and versatile gameplay.
-
Brings a fresh twist on a tired genre: providing the player with a real sense of choice – and coupled with an innovative USP, enchanting charactisation, a rich narrative and gameplay that really feels like what the game.
-
Overall, we though, found Second Sight intensely challenging, a creative alternative to other PC shooters and -- priced under $25 -- a great value.
-
Best of all, Second Sight tells an excellent story and does so with a presentation that borders on interactive cinema.
-
It's got a unique blend of gameplay quirks between its stealth, telekinesis, and shooting, and the presentation is well done, even by the standards of Free Radical Design. Sigh...but if only they fixed the game's general difficulty and replayability.
-
Second Sight isn't a perfect game, but is a solid game with an extremely strong story. If you don't mind dealing with wonky controls and not being able to save whenever you want, it's more than worth a look.
-
Just don’t expect a revolutionary, mind-blowing title.
-
Has a surprisingly good story and voice acting, but it suffers from a combat system that's both flawed and too easy, and from underwhelming visuals that wouldn't be so bad if the stealth action genre wasn't so competitive.
-
Packed with a solid gameplay, a substantial amount of levels for a lengthy experience, some really, really cool special powers, and a really enjoyable storyline.
