Feb 2, 2016It surely lacks a polished graphics and sound engine, but the driving experience is sound and compelling, the contents are plenty, and the track design is just great. Way better if enjoyed with first person view and a driving wheel.
-
Feb 1, 2016A solid rally game, rich in content and funny, with a good driving model to be enjoyed with a steering wheel and the internal view. Not perfect, but undoubtedly valid.
-
Jan 31, 2016Challenging rally simulation with Loeb bonus, but inferior to Dirt Rally in all aspects.
-
CD-ActionMar 30, 2016SLRE can’t compete with the titans (i.e Forza Horizon 2) but it is doubtlessly the best rally game by Milestone. [03/2016, p.63]
-
Mar 2, 2016I half expected this game to be a shallow vanity project, but it's got more substance than that. The number of tracks and the career structure expose you to more content than most rally titles, even if the racing itself isn't tight enough to compete with the top dogs.
-
Feb 4, 2016Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is a solid rally game, but some flaws prevent it from beating Dirt Rally.
-
Pelit (Finland)Mar 31, 2016Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO shows that it could be potential contender to throne ruled by Dirt Rally. It's a shame that its audiovisual presentation leaves much to be desired and steering lag combined to horrible FFB nearly destroys the driving enjoyment. Also, the performance on PS4 is pretty horrid. [March 2016]

Mar 16, 2016This is a title that falls in an odd position in the spectrum of racing titles. It is far too ambitious to be considered an arcade racer, but too unpolished to be a simulation. Regardless of your level of skill, this may be one experience worth steering clear of.
-
Feb 5, 2016A solid rally experience with a tremendous amount of content. But mediocre driving physics and Milestone’s trademark mediocre engine step hard on the breaks.
-
Feb 1, 2016If you’re unsure whether to go for Dirt Rally or Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo, choose the former. Loeb Rally may come with a huge amount of content, but suffers from other severe flaws: from a technical standpoint, Loeb Rally is pretty much outdated and at no point during our time with the game, driving was ever really enjoyable. Every car feels weirdly stiff to control and gives the player little to no feedback. So if you have the choice, stick with Dirt Rally. Everything Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo has going for it, Dirt 3 already did a better job at.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Mar 22, 2016Great name on a game case that could hardly fulfill the expectations. Milestone tried to do their best, but they succeeded only partially. The result is an ordinary game that pleases mainly with extra content, whether it's about cars, tracks or Loeb itself. [Issue # 261]
-
Feb 16, 2016Milestone created surprisingly dignified simulator full of content and its own personality. This rally newcomer is a big competition to Codemasters titles. Although poor technology and silly mistakes hurts the game most.
-
Game World Navigator MagazineFeb 11, 2016All you need to know about Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO physics is that you can jump on piles of snow as if they were trampolines. [Issue#206, p.70]
-
Mar 17, 2016Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo offers a nice career mode with a lot of different cars, challenges and locations, but it's quite disappointing on nearly every other aspects, especially if you like simulation racing games.
