    it's a game that needs to be understood, unfortunately there is a real objective in this game but it has very fun gameplay.
    If you have just finished watching films like "Pirates of the Caribbean" and you want an adventure at sea, perhaps accompanied by other friends, this game can give you a great adventure.

    it has the most empty and useless map you can get for 98gb. also you gonna need a friend or two.

    Denle una nueva oportunidad, el juego a mejorado muchisimo y se volvio muy bueno la verdad, si no le doy 10 es xq si o si necesitas alguien con quien jugar ya que solo es un suicidio y para las historias necesitas almenos un compañero

    Very boring. You basically completed the game when starting it, after that you just hunting for cosmetics

    That's a pretty nice game if you play it casually (check it every now and then with three more friends to see what is new and call it the day), but maybe not much more than that. I was "forced" to play it too much 'cause my sister had a serious case of addiction, and so I started to see the cracks... it can be really, really repetitive.

    The player base for this game remains one of the most toxic and cheat-ridden that I've come across. The devs also remain some of the most aloof and uncaring that I've ever seen. There is no report function, no solo server function, nothing to get away from toxic players except to sink your own ship and hop to a different server - giving the players harassing you all of your loot andThe player base for this game remains one of the most toxic and cheat-ridden that I've come across. Nothing has been done to address the rising concerns of non-cheating players.

    The game is fun, but worthless to those who want to play correctly. You can't enjoy playing the game when you're being killed constantly by players spawning in exploding barrels or shooting you through walls. Until these issues are addressed, i would not recommend this game.

    Good points: fun loot system, fun sailing and fishing system, interesting and lore-filled quests.

    Bad points: everything above that's stopping you from enjoying it.

    Do yourself a favor and don't buy this game until the issues have been addressed.    … Expand

    1. Very basic combat, there is a lack of content and the open world is kinda boring. The ship mechanics and the giant sea monsters bring this game up to a 4.

    5 horas são o suficientes para enjoar desse jogo. Jogabilidade bem complicada e difícil de acostumar. Fica muito chato e repetitivo muito breve. Muito infantil.

    Needs PVE considering most of the game itself is PVE with tall tales and exploring islands and quests etc.

    10/10 with friends, not that great if you play alone. You are a pirate and you go on adventures with your friends, what else would you ever want from a game?

    I.. like Sea of Thieves, I've been playing it for awhile now and it's addicting and fun, fighting other ships and even AI is great, so the combat is great and challenging, but takes extremely long to get good at the game, and takes forever to get major progress, it's fun but not the type of game to keep me grinding to the point were It's taking me weeks and even months to get the newI.. like Sea of Thieves, I've been playing it for awhile now and it's addicting and fun, fighting other ships and even AI is great, so the combat is great and challenging, but takes extremely long to get good at the game, and takes forever to get major progress, it's fun but not the type of game to keep me grinding to the point were It's taking me weeks and even months to get the new skeleton curse. The live service aspect is Alright but can lack sometimes, which is fair, and to give the game credit the way they do live service is actually pretty good but can still be weird, I am looking forward to the Monkey Island crossover.     This is in my opinion one of the best games to play with friends, the ship's mechanics are really cool and you don´t need more than 4 different weapons. NOT pay to win. I would not recommend to you to buy this game if you going to play it by solo and if you don´t have no one to play with, find a discord server of the game it is always fun.

    The game is fun but the grind is too big and a session can be ruined for casual players by sweaty pvp players. I can only recommend buying this if they implement a pve surver or let casual players host a private session.

    I just love making a fun adventure with friends. I normally like a perks and leveling system but it makes sense for this to not have that else pvp would be unbalanced. The game is very replay able. I do wish it had better crash proofing for pc as If my game crashes then im out of an hour of work...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Te aburres pronto de el y es una pena, los gráficos están muy bien y la idea no es nada mala ya que hay pocos juegos de piratas mundo abierto. Resumiendo lo mejor que puedes conseguir es alguna skins y eso para mí tiene poco valor. Parece que está enfocado a un público de niños pequeños que les gusta gastar dinero en trajecitos y espaditas que solo son skins, Le falta un sistema de nivelación de algo por lo que digas quiero seguir jugando y mejorando mi personaje. Le falta potencial, podrían exprimirlo mucho mas y mejor. El mapa es grande no está mal, pero los servidores casi siempre están vacíos, 20 personas por servidor más o menos y casi nunca llenos, entre colegas te puedes hechar unas risas pero para jugar a largo plazo te aburres pronto. Las historias están muy guapas aunque algunas se hacen pesadas.… Expand

    The game became good now, 50% of the bad review are about the fact the game is banned from Russia, wich make the actual User Score irrevelent, and also, an other part of the bad review are from 2018, the game as gone trough a lot of major update now.

    The developers don't spend enough time fixing all the bugs they introduce with each update so by the time they finally got around to adding ANY PvP content, they had already created so many issues that the game is no longer viable as a competitive platform.

    I think this is the best pirate game after AC Black Flag. It doen't have crafting but it is very fun with your friends.

    this game is just amazing, the graphics are beautiful and original, the gameplay is very developed, you really feel the adventure. And it's even more fun when you're with your friends!

    This game has a really cool and unique concept. You are of course a pirate and you go on various different quests exploring places like islands and wreckages finding loot to sell to vendors. You can also come across online players who you can engage in pvp combat with taking their loot before they have chance to sell it leaving them with nothing. You can also select to team up with other online players if 1 of you has space on the boat. You get 3 different boats. Different sizes have the option of different party sizes. The largest being up to 4 players.

    This game doesn't hold your hand to much. Working stuff out requires a bit of actual input from the player. Or just google it. This is ofcourse a good thing. Learning is fun. Games feel so boring when everything is just done for you.

    If you are the type of person who will get frustrated over the fact that you can spend ages collecting loot for it to be taken by over players then this game isn't for you. How ever myself I love it when a game punishes you for failing.

    Online players a really nice and interactive. People are always happy to help new players get the hang of things. Most people online have mics aswell so you can speak to each other.

    Overall this game offers hours of fun with countless stuff to explore. Updates come out quite often aswell adding to the list of stuff to do.

    I don't understand why this game isn't well perceived by many people. The reason you can't upgrade your boat with stronger cannons and so on is because new players would just get sank all the time. You can how ever unlock cosmetic upgrades or you can buy them with real money. You can still have plenty of fun without dropping any real cash. There is a battlepass aswell but this game still offers tons of stuff outside of the battlepass.    … Expand

    It becomes repetitive and I don't like the fact that you are basically forced to collaborate with at least another player to be competitive, however I do enjoy the graphics and the many "tales" they added throughout the years.

    Sea of Thieves has successfully redeemed its clumsy launch with Rare being a developer that fully commits to the title with monthly updates for more than two years. Now – it is a game brimming with content, adventure and gorgeous pirate atmosphere with arguably being the best pirate game available and a truly fun multiplayer experience.

    A year of updates has helped fill out its light content, but the real magic was there from the start. Rare’s take on cartoon piracy encourages you to behave as a cartoon pirate should: a little bloodthirsty, a little silly, and almost always drunk.

    Sea of Thieves has a solid foundation, but unfortunately there is no content and in a few of gameplay the feeling of being a pirate completely disappears. [Issue#285]
