    It's just nothing. You do all the routine stuff by finding the treasures and getting it back to the buyer. The only thing that you can buy is a customization, and you can buy it for donation too. It has a big playground, but it's empty. No procedural generation, no new biomes, no new upgrades (there are no upgrades, only customization), no new enemies. What is this?

    One of the most toxic and frustrating game communities & experiences I've ever experienced in decades of online gaming. It's a shame too because the art design and character handling are fun & pretty satisfying, but the random ganking by hardened PVP lords is just too much to allow you to relax and enjoy a gaming session. If you are *really* into PVP, like live eat and breathe it, you willOne of the most toxic and frustrating game communities & experiences I've ever experienced in decades of online gaming. It's a shame too because the art design and character handling are fun & pretty satisfying, but the random ganking by hardened PVP lords is just too much to allow you to relax and enjoy a gaming session. If you are *really* into PVP, like live eat and breathe it, you will still be absolutely destroyed by a server-hopping 1% clique in this, but I guess you can try it on gamepass if it's free for you. Don't buy any microtransactions. Wait until you see what I'm talking about and then decide if losing hours of grind progress in a minute every day is your idea of fun, or you'd rather do something else.     I could have so much fun, if this bs skeleton ship is not incredible annoying. You must board the enemy ship and disrupt the enemy for repairing but the enemy is respawning under 3 sec with a great number and repair it nearly instant the moment the plank touch the hole.

    I would make probably better games with using my toes. Absolute waste of time don't even bother playing or thinking about playing it. Jee weez People that participated in this game are under depressions, suicidal and uncreative incell morons.

    The game is fun but the grind is too big and a session can be ruined for casual players by sweaty pvp players. I can only recommend buying this if they implement a pve surver or let casual players host a private session.

    1. Very basic combat, there is a lack of content and the open world is kinda boring. The ship mechanics and the giant sea monsters bring this game up to a 4.

    The developers don't spend enough time fixing all the bugs they introduce with each update so by the time they finally got around to adding ANY PvP content, they had already created so many issues that the game is no longer viable as a competitive platform.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Te aburres pronto de el y es una pena, los gráficos están muy bien y la idea no es nada mala ya que hay pocos juegos de piratas mundo abierto. Resumiendo lo mejor que puedes conseguir es alguna skins y eso para mí tiene poco valor. Parece que está enfocado a un público de niños pequeños que les gusta gastar dinero en trajecitos y espaditas que solo son skins, Le falta un sistema de nivelación de algo por lo que digas quiero seguir jugando y mejorando mi personaje. Le falta potencial, podrían exprimirlo mucho mas y mejor. El mapa es grande no está mal, pero los servidores casi siempre están vacíos, 20 personas por servidor más o menos y casi nunca llenos, entre colegas te puedes hechar unas risas pero para jugar a largo plazo te aburres pronto. Las historias están muy guapas aunque algunas se hacen pesadas.… Expand

    The player base for this game remains one of the most toxic and cheat-ridden that I've come across. The devs also remain some of the most aloof and uncaring that I've ever seen. There is no report function, no solo server function, nothing to get away from toxic players except to sink your own ship and hop to a different server - giving the players harassing you all of your loot andThe player base for this game remains one of the most toxic and cheat-ridden that I've come across. Nothing has been done to address the rising concerns of non-cheating players.

    The game is fun, but worthless to those who want to play correctly. You can't enjoy playing the game when you're being killed constantly by players spawning in exploding barrels or shooting you through walls. Until these issues are addressed, i would not recommend this game.

    Good points: fun loot system, fun sailing and fishing system, interesting and lore-filled quests.

    Bad points: everything above that's stopping you from enjoying it.

    Do yourself a favor and don't buy this game until the issues have been addressed.    … Expand

    Sea of Thieves has successfully redeemed its clumsy launch with Rare being a developer that fully commits to the title with monthly updates for more than two years. Now – it is a game brimming with content, adventure and gorgeous pirate atmosphere with arguably being the best pirate game available and a truly fun multiplayer experience.

    A year of updates has helped fill out its light content, but the real magic was there from the start. Rare’s take on cartoon piracy encourages you to behave as a cartoon pirate should: a little bloodthirsty, a little silly, and almost always drunk.

    Sea of Thieves has a solid foundation, but unfortunately there is no content and in a few of gameplay the feeling of being a pirate completely disappears. [Issue#285]
