Shopping is really slow, which is probably a River City Ransom nod, but it's still really slow.

Joystick is broken in online play, all inputs act as a dash so you can't finetune without the dpad. Sometimes there are lines on the screen from the upscaling tech used here, and sometimes there is lag on screen transitions in onlineplay. We had to restart a level once because of this. Also when client in network play, it doesn't always give you accurate info on the HUD (ie. saying 130HP when you're actually one hit from going down). The extra game modes are not supported in online play. However I never had any input lag in online.

Overall it's a game with fantastic art and sound, and then mediocore to good gameplay. Fix the online issues and the occasional lines on the screen (not subspace zone glitch lines but glitch lines where they shouldn't be) and this is an 8.

Ok, i liked the game, but ubisoft forces you to install yet another client... for what, for playing an old game that is locked, i can live without scott pilgrim, but i already have a lot of store clients to be installing one more just for one game, this is a deal breaker for me, just asked for a refund

It's not on Steam, so I'm giving 0. I'm not buying it from some trash epic game store.

Not as bad as some people make it out to be, actually pretty decent game. Specially it deserves praise because it's ubisoft and ubisoft is one of the most underrated video game developers ever. They always make games with extremely beautiful graphics and fun gameplay, but people just whine about stupid things "uh, it's not as fun as i wanted it to be, so it must be 0/10.

Quite interesting beat'em up. The game itself is good but not on PC. I thin it is more suite for Nintendo Switch.
YOU HEAR ME?! BUY THIS GAME ON NINTENDO SWITCH.

I love this game, the gameplay and the music.

But there is a major problem with this game affecting quite some people where the music is to only 5% of the volume what is should be. This means you either have to crank up your audio to the extreme and with the first notification your audio system will blow up. This has been noted and thrown at the Ubisoft devs for half a year to no

Plus this games requires crappy Ubisoft DRM bloatware.
I can't recommend you buy this game or support Ubisoft in any way.

A 'beat em up' is a 'beat em up' at the end of the day. But my gosh does Scott Pilgrim top the list in the genre. Great animations, tight controls, killer music and sound! The game is not bad, but there are many improvements. For being a complete edition of a game that already existed, Ubisoft could improve and remodel some game systems, especially the "time of fall", the time we were on the ground is unbearable at the beginning of the game. In addition to the infinite grinding of the game, which is necessary to unlock new skills, we also have connection issues constantly that still haven't been resolved, leaving the game to be played in singleplayer or local most of the time. The soundtrack and characters are good, but the game is perhaps wrong in many ways. Expand

They put DRM in this? Seriously?

And this is basically the worst form of DRM imaginable.

This is why people pirate games.

Like most beat’em’ups, Scott Pilgrim really shines in co-op, so poor netcode really is a disadvantage. On the other hand, the gameplay is good, and chiptune soundtrack is great for fans of this genre. [Issue#252, p.52]

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is the same game that everybody lamented when it was lost six years ago. The progression-based game flow, the fantastic visuals and soundtrack, and the same problems bar one. While it’s nice to have back what’s become something of a legend in its absence, you know what they say about meeting your heroes.

Great movie-tie-in game that has awesome references to both the movie and comic series. Grinding will be required if you don't want to get your butt kicked!
