Is hard to recommend Scorn because it has an incredible art design and a great setting, but it also is a very obtuse adventure puzzle game. Maybe you can feel frustrated when you don't know how to resolve a puzzle, and its combat are very simple and boring. But if you connect with Scorn, it will be an incredible experience. [Recommended]

In Scorn, a game of wonderfully horrible atmosphere and smart, hands-off puzzling is undermined by some dodgy checkpoints and wonky combat.

By the time the parasite does finally obstruct your ability to use machines or change weapons, the damage is already done. There are few enemies left and the game is almost over, so whatever additional tension might have resulted from these restrictions never materializes. Scorn is a transportive experience to be sure, at times a genuine masterwork of visual craft. But the unfulfilled possibilities linger a little too prominently, a reminder that it falls short of being a mechanical masterpiece, too.
  4. The world of Scorn is singular, and carefully constructed, and intelligent. The way you're left to explore - and the way you can get through it without any help whatsoever - is a 10/10 bit of game design. But the most upsetting parts are upsetting by accident rather than intention. I think as many people should play it as possible, but I can't say you'll enjoy it. I'm really glad it's coming to Game Pass.

Being indecipherable is fun for like five minutes and the shock factor wears ofd even quicker. Then the rest of the novelty wears off once you realize you move super slow, absolutely everything is bizarre about the environment so it’s hard to understand how one puzzle connects to the next, the animations that play are also suuuuper slow and you have to just sit through them even if you fail to do the right thing. Doors don’t stay open in some areas… you have to go through a two step process to unlock them and draw them open. Then they’re timed, so if you don’t make it through the door you have to go through the slow unlock and open animations again…. They spent 90% of the budget on the graphics and forgot they needed a game

Uninstalled after two hours following the worst opening puzzle and open map section ever in a puzzle game

Gameplay is weak, but the atmosphere is probably the best I've played in recent years!

The graphics are great, other than that, the game is empty and totally less than expected. The title was hyped and failed to deliver.
