PC Gamer UKScarface's attitude is enjoyable and infectious. [Dec 2006, p.94]
-
PC Zone UKDespite design cleverness and an engaging cityscape, there's just no joy here. [Christmas 2006, p.90]
-
Computer Games MagazineYou control territories: It's like a much more fleshed-out version of the gang warfare in "San Andreas". [Jan. 2007, p.72]
-
Like the film, Scarface is brutal and often ridiculously over-the-top. It uses the GTA template effectively but may feel too familiar for Vice City veterans.
-
Simply put, the random missions are repetitive and they soon get very boring.
-
PC FormatNot awful, but there's not enough crack in the world to choose it over "GTA." [Christmas 2006, p.101]
-
Worth a tour if you really loved the movie, but maybe less so if you've already played the hell out of Vice City. We can't really blame Scarface for the familiarity of the setting, but the fact remains that we've been here before.
-
Once you get over the whole rewriting-the-end-of-the-movie thing, Scarface: The World Is Yours is a competent but usually uninteresting action game.
-
If you’re into blood, guts and violence then Scarface is not a bad game other than the pretty lame AI.
