    Samorost 2 have good visuals, sounds and music, both very closer to Machinarium.
    But i can't recommend it because this game have too many negative points... a lot of them.
    The first thing you notice is that you can't change resolution - you have to play it on a very tinny window. Being a Flash game, you can zoom in the image - and it's good - but you have to do it at every single new    Samorost 2 have good visuals, sounds and music, both very closer to Machinarium.
    But i can't recommend it because this game have too many negative points... a lot of them.

    The first thing you notice is that you can't change resolution - you have to play it on a very tinny window. Being a Flash game, you can zoom in the image - and it's good - but you have to do it at every single new clip loaded. No Steam working layer, also.

    The puzzles doesn't make much sense, so you have to pixel-hunt on your tinny screen, or bother yourself zooming every new screen. You'll fight to find the point to click many times, mostly places you need to enter or walking by, because they're not so visible, and considering the puzzles doesn't make much sense, it's always a waste of time and patience.

    The game is very, very short. Not even 2 hours.
    And part of this time you'll just watch your character slowly walking from a place to another, and since sometimes you have to do the same things more than once, it's very annoying. Also, you have not a save system, any of them. Instead, you receive codes every new level, and you can enter these codes if you want to play it later. If you don't realize the purpose of these codes to memorize them or take note, you'll have to play again from beginning, and considering what i said about slowly walking, you know what does it mean.

    Finally, you don't have any real support from Amanita Design (developer). They're not present at Steam forums, and never patch their games to fix, improve or adapt them to continue to sell them. Although the asked price is low, it's not worth unless because of the art style.    … Expand

    Samorost 2's strong point is the graphics (the game itself is a quite semplicistic flash file), but what's the point of getting a set of artsy, well-finished scenarios when you can only play it at 800x600? I lost a couple of diopters playing it on my iMac.

    This game is like a playable version of an old Björk record. It is a piece of art, more than it is a standard game. It paces slowly through a lunar landscape made of pictures of tree-stumps and moss, roughly yet stylishly pasted together in some ancient copy of photoshop, while you're solving silly puzzles to the sound of calming psychedelic jazz, glowing somewhere in the background.This game is like a playable version of an old Björk record. It is a piece of art, more than it is a standard game. It paces slowly through a lunar landscape made of pictures of tree-stumps and moss, roughly yet stylishly pasted together in some ancient copy of photoshop, while you're solving silly puzzles to the sound of calming psychedelic jazz, glowing somewhere in the background.

    This game and its creators came from the era of flash games back in the early 2000s, which weren't really to be taken very seriously, and in my opinion, Amanita Design are one of the true pioneers of the indie game movement. I remember playing Samorost 1 in a browser window, being blown away by why someone had created such a beautiful "joke". I think that was the first time I saw art that actually resonated with me on some deeper spiritual level.

    Granted, I'm too nostalgically attached to this game to see all of its flaws, and it probably isn't as appealing to the audience of today as it was back when. I suggest you try Amanitas later success "Machinarium" if you want to play a game that is more up to speed concerning gameplay quality. But art-wise, few games have ever made such a lasting impression on me as Samorost 1 & 2 did.    … Expand

    Samorost 2 is an example of how flash games age poorly and glitch on the latest Microsoft Windows release. Most of the Amanita games in my Steam library are problematic like this.

    Past that, Samorost 2 is a one of those boring click-all-the-pixels games that are pretending to be a puzzler.

    * Raging about having to go back and collect more manatee farts (yes, seriously)

    The graphic style is nice, and the music is good.

    Compared to the first Samorost game, this one's puzzles are noticeably less logical, so any thinking that might have been required has devolved into mindlessly clicking everything. Samorost 2 also feels more drawn out, the last puzzle making it painfully so.    … Expand

A lot of the "puzzle" solving boils down to pixel hunting for that one tiny, unmarked place on the screen which you have to click to make the next step happen. I'd be amazed if this was even playtested. I give it three stars instead of zero stars, because there are a couple of gleaming nuggets of cleverness to be found within this turd, if you haveGreat ideas - frequently awful execution.     It has many glitches and negatives but i dont care :) Great game. i just enjoyed a lot this title like all samorost titles. I just like a lot the idea of the samorost games and i like main character of this titles.

    What a weird game. But weird can be good i guess. Some of the puzzles can be unintuitive, but everything can be solved with enough clicks all over the screen.

    Jogo melhor que seu antecessor, possui trilhas sonoras interessantes, a historia é muito curta, porém, é legalzinha , pelo preço de promoção da pro gasto.
