    Saints Row The 3rd was the first game I played on my Xbox 360. I played this game again because my Xbox 360 can't properly access the internet properly and it does not have DLCs but thanks to Steam I finally learned how to get it. The game has completely over-the-top action than previous games like Grand Theft Auto 4. The best reason that I need to play is character creation. Before GrandSaints Row The 3rd was the first game I played on my Xbox 360. I played this game again because my Xbox 360 can't properly access the internet properly and it does not have DLCs but thanks to Steam I finally learned how to get it. The game has completely over-the-top action than previous games like Grand Theft Auto 4. The best reason that I need to play is character creation. Before Grand Theft Auto Online you can actually create your character in this open-world game after the first mission of Saints Row. Another best reason is that you have creative ways to kill an enemy. The best part of infighting is attacking enemies with a takedown by a takedown. If you add a max bulletproof upgrade it makes you invincible without getting killed by bullets. The weapons in the game are completely over the top. One of my favorite weapons in the game is the SA-3 Airstrike also known as the airstrike gun because it is good for sending airplane backup instead of calling airstrike with the phone. Even though there are no planes in the airstrike when shooting it in the air. One new enemies additions to the game are specialists and brutes. They are almost like mini bosses but with a faster way to kill for a few minutes or seconds. The story unlike Saints Row and Saints Row 2 is completely out of the box as in unexpected and completely insane like clones, murder game shows, 3D cyber hacking while riding cyber bikes and fighting cyber knights, a special military force named STAG, wrestling, and 3rd Street Saints are now turning into celebrities icons than criminals. Although the biggest issue is driving in the game. Because I can't hear the sounds of the car including the nitro.

    In conclusion, if you want your kills to get creative well just like Saints Row 4 this game is also for you.    … Expand

    A lot more unabashedly silly than its predecessor. A fun snadbox with lots of wacky tools to play with, it ends up lacking depth or narrative heart but kicking ass for most of the way through.

    Z serią SR wiąże mnie ogromny sentyment, więc recenzja nie będzie do końca obiektywna. Otwarty gangsterski świat, w którym idzie się wczuć jak w mało jakiej grze z otwartym miastem. Niedbała grafika, drewniany movement, oraz prostackie teksty to coś, do czego nie można się przekonać. To trzeba po prostu czuć od samego początku. Gracze nowoczesnych gier nie zrozumieją naszego zamiłowania doZ serią SR wiąże mnie ogromny sentyment, więc recenzja nie będzie do końca obiektywna.     Технически лучшая часть, но более серьёзный тон второй части, граничащий с абсурдом мне зашёл немного больше. Ну это дело вкуса каждого.
    Сама же по себе, третья глава приключений безбашенных героев, на таком же золотом уровне как и все другие части серии.

The game's driving feels pretty good, the open world aspect of the game feels very dead as there isn't a lot to do.     I hate this game and what it did tot he franchise with every fiber of my being, but it also has some really sharp clothing options that are better than it's predecessor's had to offer so that brings it up past a five. I never said I wasn't a hypocritical ****

    The third part is my favorite. the game becomes different because the developers went to GTA they came up with their new features, the plot is cool, the soundtrack is chic, the game design is normal, the co-op is chic

    The interface is wonderful. You have so much information immediately available to you. Google Maps always has a minimap in the lower left corner, which gives you a good overview of the area. Getting information about people gives you a clear, clear window. Hacking offers a menu with easily recognizable icons, so you always know what your button presses will do.

    Gameplay is improved from 2. It's more crazy and faster. But enemies feel bullet spongy and gun recoil is non existent. Which makes gunplay not that fun. Atmosphere is weak and dead. It is just dead soulless brick city and npc's are robots. Overall a good gta alternative with no focus on realism and    Story is funny and ridiculous.     So what does SR3 has to offer? Well one major downgrade makes it self obvious quite fast, and it's the city of Steelport. It's a very bland and generic looking game world. No more there's the strong distinctiveness of each district or even interactivity, where ever you travel in Steelport you struggle to tell one location apart from another, it all looks so uninspired. No more there are numerous interesting interiors to explore either, it's a very limited sand box compared to Stillwater.

    Gameplay wise the driving is atleast somewhat of an improvement over SR2, but it still doesnt feel anywhere near as satisfying as GTA driving mechanics for example. Combat mechanics in SR3 feel different than those of SR2, but i wouldnt say better, it depends on individual guns, some feel weighty and satisfying to use, some feel too cartoony. The gun upgrade system was annoying too since you couldnt remove applied upgrades, such as silencer, once you have bought them.

    Character creation and customization also take a few steps back. While it sees a couple of new additions like the ''Sex Appeal'' slider (more games need this), overall no longer there is the depth of the SR2 creator, unless you view addition of something chrome or green skin tones as a major addition. Clothing no longer supports layering either. You can buy more property in SR3, but you cant do anything with it past that, it only generates income. When you take over a gang stronghold (basically an alternative to SR2's crib), it's customization also is very basic compared to what you could do with cribs in SR2.

    Story in SR3 for as crazy it can get, still is kinda fun. It's dumb, stupid fun at that, but even with my disappointment in how it diverted from SR2, i struggle to outright hate it. However one major mistake the story makes is killing off Gat, right at the beggining at that, that was pretty idiotic and i still have no idea WTF Volition was thinking, he pretty much had become the soul of the series. The 3 main gangs of SR3 also are much more generic compared to the cool, interesting gangs of Stillwater.    … Expand

    GTA짝퉁 소리들었던 기존 1,2편과 완전히 독자노선을 찾은 4편의 교두보역활을 하는 작품. 다만 미션구조가 의미없는 뺑뺑이로 이루어져 있어서 이걸 왜 해야하는지 의문이 계속 든다.

    The Missions of this game are like going from A to point B, do a thing, then go to point C. Tho the missions have variability that makes it not feel like a chore.
    The Difficulty is on the low end, like i said, this game doesn't take itself seriously.
    This game does not have a multiplayer mode]

    {Narrative: Dialogue, Cutscenes} 8/10 - Great.
    [The Dialogue is sometimes hilarious, but most of the time they seem random.
    The Cutscenes looks great, and the animation during the cutscene is fantastic.]

    {Visuals: Graphics, Motion Capture/Voice-Sync} 8/10 - Great.
    [The Graphics looks fantastic. Not GTA fantastic, but it was never supposed to be like that. This franchise is a less serious game, with a more humorous approach.
    The Motion Capture, well at least at the first part the voice-sync was painful. But it got better longer into the game.]

    {Technical: Bugs, Performance} 6/10 - Average
    [I only notice 1 or 2 minor bugs during my PlayThrough.
    I did have a few performance issues during my gameplay, 1 Game Crash, and quite a few FPS lag and freezes.]

    {Story: The Story} 6/10 - Average.
    [The Story is average, it doesn't anything special, but it's interesting enuff to keep you going.]

    {Replayability: Replayability (Alternate Endings, Secrets, Multiplayer, etc)} 5/10 – Bad.
    [you will most likely play this 1 or 2 times, but the story is set and the only reason to play it once would be to complete it 100% or go another path in one of the 8 Missions that gives you a choice of 2 paths to go on.]

    "6/10 – Average.
    These recommendations come with a boatload of “ifs.
    It's only held back by a few issues (or stiff competition).
    Not always the best choice, but it can get the job done.
    There’s a good game in here somewhere, but you’ll have to know where to look, and perhaps turn a blind eye to some big drawbacks.”

The game features a downgraded arsenal from Saints Row: II, but makes up for it with weapon upgrading and a **** **** bat", that right folks, you can beat people to death with a giant dick. The story is **** but the gameplay more than makes up for it, andSaints Row: The Third is almost a masterpiece!     The positive points are that it is a great open-world, it has insane characters and story, an amazing quantitiy of additional content: adding more vehicules, missions, outfits,... The customization of characters, cars and weapons is incredible. This game oozes the    'Saints Row: The Third' is a completely crazy GTA-like game that will make you doubt the good sanity of its developers

    The positive points are that it is a great open-world, it has insane characters and story, an amazing quantitiy of additional content: adding more vehicules, missions, outfits,... The customization of characters, cars and weapons is incredible. This game oozes the badass-itude from the beginning to the end! Even your combat moves are awesome (plus you can litterally break the balls of your opponents with a huge dose of style). The artistic direction assumes its full responsability and dives with eyes closed into the twisted fantasies of the developers.

    Negative points now. The game is quite slow to launch and load. Coop system is broken. There is way too much extra content (and some are really disappointing). There are a few really stupid, dull and repetitive missions (like the insurance and the assassination/car theft things). Having all the extra content will make the game much easier: all your movements (in vehicules) will be faster and opponents will be easily killed by your outstanding cheated weapons.    … Expand

    Прошёл игру буквально вот сегодня и буря, нет моря эмоций!
    Сюжет и некоторые детали : Сюжет тут прекрасен и очень многое стебёт, так мне зашла шутка в конце игры про шестой эпизод “Звёздные Войны”. Нас снова знакомят с бандой святых, которой мы являемся главным. Улучшенный редактор персонажа, что очень сильно порадовал и конечно кооператив. В    Одна из лучших игр, в которые я играл!
    Прошёл игру буквально вот сегодня и буря, нет моря эмоций!

    Сюжет и некоторые детали :
    Сюжет тут прекрасен и очень многое стебёт, так мне зашла шутка в конце игры про шестой эпизод “Звёздные Войны”. Нас снова знакомят с бандой святых, которой мы являемся главным. Улучшенный редактор персонажа, что очень сильно порадовал и конечно кооператив. В игре как по мне два главных героя, это кончено же мы и Шаунди! Кстати один интересны момент… Всю игру я ждал : “Да убейте же вы уже Шауди! В таких играх обязательно должен умереть главный герой!” И тут бац, и игра нам даёт выбор. Концовка тоже очень порадовала, хотя и кажется какой-то страной.

    Музыка :
    Я не знаю даже что сказать… Музыка тут на уровне Assassin’s Creed 2, такая же шедевральна и божественная. НО! Одно большое НО! Музыка мне больше всего понравилась в Saints Row, нежели в какой-то другой игре. Повторюсь лучший саундтрек из всех игр, что я проходил и играл!

    Персонажей :
    Персонажей в Saints Row много. Но большая часть их это наши союзники. А вот злодеев мало. КАБАН, Синдикат, Лучадоры…эммм всё. А ну есть ещё журналистка, но она то появляется, то нет. Но вот битвы с ними красочные, а ещё с это музыкой то вообще классно!

    Маленький, но очень приятный плюс :
    Не знаю, как другим, но мне город Saints Row The Third напоминаем чем-то город и Spider Man Web of Shadows. Да ещё и главный герой Олег напоминает немного Люк Кейджа (ну это, наверное, только мне).

    В финале, рекомендую к покупке эту игру каждому! Не зря же у неё такие высокие оценки! :)

В один миг святые потеряли своё состояние и влияние, а главный антагонист поставил их на "счётчик" - либо вы отдаёте нам большую часть заработанных денег, либо обречены на смерть. Главный герой в лице безымянного босса вместе со своими соратниками радикально показывают, что такой расклад их не устраивает. В новом городе святым предстоит восстать из пепла и заново отстроить империю.

    Поскольку это криминальный боевик, примерный игровой процесс всем понятен. Угон машин, заказные убийства, разрушение и хаос - вот чем предстоит заниматься в течение прохождения. Всё это разбавляется разнообразным вооружением и глубокой персонализацией как персонажа, так и транспорта.

    Нельзя не отметить, что в игре присутствует открытый мир. Делать в нём откровенно нечего - покупай здания, собирай коллекционные предметы, да сражайся с врагами. Но сама схема города дала хорошие возможности для сюжетных манёвров, что позволило разработчикам создать непохожие друг на друга миссии.

    Этот боевик понравится не только фанатам GTA, но и всем остальным игрокам, которым по душе криминальные разборки. Saints Row The Third смогла стать самостоятельной игрой, которую уже нельзя назвать клоном известной серии.    … Expand

    This game is a more light-hearted, non-subtle take on GTA. Can be a lot of fun but after years of playing Arma I found the combat mechanics a little too bland. I didn't quite like it enough to continue after starting a campaign.

The character editor is better. The graphics are not bad for 2011. Now the disadvantages. Few weapons, many unnecessary additions. The third part I like more than the fourth. The game gets 9/10

Also, the story is, although intentionally, a complete mess and the chances are you will not remember much of it after you beat the game.

    Although this was my first Saints Row game, I did not feel a stranger to the series. The coop mode was a good excuse for me and my friend to try it out and overall, we were not disappointed. In my opinion i love this game better than gta IV. I gave it an 8 simply because i felt the game was too short, the game has an awesome Story-line but it was short.

    Don't listen to all the hateful reviews. I had to open a Metacritic account for the first time to say that this game is one of the funnest games i played. Very good story.

    But what do you actually do in SR3? It isn't just mindless fun, is it? Well, it actually is. However, you're given the task of growing your gang, and taking revenge on The Syndicate. Only when you're strong enough, can you handle the huge mobs and vehicles that come in your way. You want to rule Steelport? Buy all of the properties, participate in the activities, and defeat your rival gangs. Better yet, do it in a gimp suit, with your co-op buddy dressed as a priest, and an army of nudists backing you. Too bad the gimp-driven pony carts only appear in one mission. Good thing we have talented modders, right?

I have replayed this game more times than I can count. Its a blast with a friend, and I just have to express my love for this crude and offensive game.

    + Good gun-play, character upgrade path, weapon upgrade path.
    + Graphics are really good (DX11) if your machine is powerful enough to turn the settings up (a far render distance is pretty taxing).
    + The story is ostentatiously stupid fun - like a fantastic B-movie - if you can enjoy it for what it is, and not expect something more serious like Saints Row 2.
    + Good voice acting from everyone.
    + Some fun new activities, and most of the old activities are back: Escort, Trail-blazing, Mayhem, Hostage, and more, as well as new variants (like Tank Mayhem), or new activities entirely (Guardian Angel, Assassinations).
    + Autos are still customizeable, most of the options staying the same. The vehicles drive better than than the ones in SR2, though there are fewer varieties.
    +Tons of personal costume and character customizations.

    + / - Lots of R-rated content. Just saying. I mean, it is a Saints Row game. But when one of the available melee weapons is a giant d**k bat that is called the "Penetrator" - yeah... For maximum safety, make sure your mom (or anyone else who might object) can't walk in on you while you're playing Saints Row: The Third.

    - While the activites are fun, and there are a lot of activity icons that appear on the map, there aren't very many of them. In Sants Row 2, each activity had 6 levels to be completed. Here, there is just ONE instance of each activity at a map icon. Early in the game, completing some activities unlocks more of the same activity (at another location) at a higher difficulty, which is fine. But there is a LOT LESS content here. Got the game to 92% completion in 32.3 hours.
    - Lots of DLC. With a lot less content already, be sure to get Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package - or don't bother buying the game.
    - Crib customization is GONE. This really bummed me. Yes, there are three cribs / strongholds that can be upgraded, but the upgrades are all pre-determined, and don't change look / layout of your crib (upgrading can make the building taller, giving you a higher view, but that's about it).

    Temper your content expectations and Saints Row: The Third becomes a gleeful B-movie romp, missing the seriousness of Saints Row 2 and the all-out insanity of Saints Row IV. Heartily recommended.    … Expand

The thing I can say whole-heartedly about this game is that it has an over the top unique style to it unmatched by other sandbox games and that's what really drew me into the world.

    This game gives you a sense of freedom and the ability to be who you want to be and do what you want to do. That's a hard thing to come by with games sometimes, and for SR3 to nail it perfectly can't be ignored.

    There's so many high points to this game, the missions are always fun, the gameplay is awesome, the controls are tight. The story is well rounded, over the top, and full of what the f*ck moments that leave you scratching your head. My favorite moment being the Tron world fighting the leader of the Deckers, Matt Miller. I don't want to spoil too much because what I'm obviously saying is, "Play this game, oh my god, you need to play this game."

    Now there are some gripes I do want to point out, now towards the end of the game, there's a mission involving zombies where you have to dispose of containers. This mission to me was a pain in the a**... You have to run container to container trying to avoid the zombies, and there's hoards coming at you from every which way. So it did get annoying trying to finish that mission. My other complaint is the ending mission, going to the three locations to fight off everything thrown at you. It was a bit much even being the final mission to the game.

    I honestly the low points in Three Way can easily be overlooked by the next part in the mission which brings the great story to a close. This game should not be overlooked, it's funny, over the top, amazing and unique. If you have the extra spending money or if you're thinking about getting it during a sale, what are you waiting for? Buy this game!

I really enjoyed the humor in the game, at times it can be rather funny, but the setting and environment I personally found to be incredibly bland. I really enjoyed the humor in the game, at times it can be rather funny, but the setting and environment I personally found to be incredibly bland.     this game gives good feeling of shooting and hitting sense. this game is a well-made open world game. it's cool more than GTA series. it's crazy storyline is not good so so.

    This is a real fun game. I loved it. The plot isn't amazing and the graphics won't blow your mind, but there's a ton of stuff to do and it will take your mind off things cause it's really funny.

    Saints Row: The Third is hilarious. The story and the missions are crazy and over the top. The soundtracks are also great. The vehicles are great and the customization is excellent. The character customization is also great. Some of the characters are voiced by famous people like Hulk Hogan, Sasha Grey, etc. The weapon upgrade system is what I don't like.     Even though a parody on the genre, Saints Row III is a solid and fun to play game. The style is that of the GTA, but the pace is much more speedy. The storyline is simply hilarious - just start the game, and watch the first trailer. At places i had to stop playing i laughed so hard!     I joined the game seris in the third, and this game was constant laughs and what the F*** moments, definatly worth buying as plenty of stuff to do and plenty of story to keep you hooked no matter how wild the story got

    Good jokes, interesting story, easy and instinctive gameplay, also beautiful and specific graphics for SRTT, can say that it's not Saints Row 2 yes, but it take its own niche and it's really fun and good game.

    better than gta v this game is still the funnest open world game ive played the only games that compare to it are Garrys mod and minecraft i think gmod and minecraft are better but this is better than every gta game ever and saints row 4 is evan better than this game

    Gave up after the first two missions. Other reviews suggested that it's an open world game, but really its just one of those "go from point A to point B and do X" type of games. There were no choices, no strategy, no difficulty. Might a well sit in front of a movie and click your mouse over and over again.

El anterior no me gusto por la horrible jugabilidad pero esperaba que aquí con la jugabilidad y gráficos mucho mejores que en el anterior juego llegara a ser un juego increíble, tal ves uno de mis juegos favoritos, pero no tiene los momentos increíbles del anterior. Y eso paso aquí :(. Sin embargo: ¿el juego es malo? NO. Decepciona pero al final si eres nuevo te gustara. Tienes una cantidad decente de actividades, una campaña decente, y te divertirás mucho por el grado de locura que tiene, ademas de que las animaciones y los gráficos son infinitamente mejores que en el SR2. En conclusión es decepcionante pero aun así es un buen juego, pero debió haber sido un Spin-Off y no una secuela completa. Le doy un 07/10. From start to finish it’s all-out mayhem. Nowhere else do you get the opportunity to batter someone with a huge adult toy or drive around town with an angry tiger in the passenger seat. Few games have actually made me laugh out loud but SRTT did. There are some truly hilarious moments and plenty of dry dialogue. The one-liners are delivered with perfection by the voice actors (I chose the English voice for the playable character – voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, I believe – and it fitted seamlessly). There have been criticisms that story missions feel more like side missions and I can understand this concern. But story is not really what this game is about. There has to be a narrative of sorts but it’s the freewheeling craziness of the gameplay that makes this game a joy. Graphically the game is pretty good without being notable. Steelport is nicely realised but some of the character models are less impressive. The soundtrack is worth a note as it includes some fantastic music from just about every genre imaginable. It may not be to everyone’s taste but if you fancy 15+ hours of riotous pandemonium (plus however many hours of coop, although I suspect it might get old quite quickly once you’ve finished the campaign and experienced all the hilarity and craziness) then you can’t go far wrong with this game.    … Expand

SRIV addresses the issue of getting to places faster. It's a wonderful mod, but once you complete it this is likely what you'll go back to.

    To those of you giving it negative reviews because the gore isn't realistic enough for you and you don't feel enough motivation... please seek help. I know it's not your fault as it's just nature and you are programmed that way, but seriously do us all a favor and get some type of counseling. We need to evolve as a species and your type causes us to hit the reset button on that over and over just so you can have your fun making everyone else suffer. Hopefully at some point the human race will be able to single you out and isolate you to live with each other on your own planet where you can just kill each other to your hearts content.    … Expand

    The main difference between GTA and Saints Row is that, while Rockstar's infamous franchise seems to grow and mature as the years go by (like whiskey), Volition's sandbox follows the exact opposite path. Each chapter is more wacky than the last, its satirical approach uses extreme, adult- even vulgar humor and intense violence, to the point where one can only childishly giggle.

    Remarkable and technically excellent urban action game comes with hilarious characters and catchy cooperative mode. Passive environment and repetitive content sunk the final verdict down. [Christmas 2011]
