Take a streetfigher clone, graft it to a diablo clone and sprinkle a bauldurs gate clone feature or two and you have summed up the lack of originality in this game. The horse feature lauded is buggy with many spells and skills unuseable from horseback limiting them greatly. Graphics are decent however there is some blurring when moving. NPC's typical of other ones but with annoying Take a streetfigher clone, graft it to a diablo clone and sprinkle a bauldurs gate clone feature or two and you have summed up the lack of originality in this game. NPC's typical of other ones but with annoying Bunching together AI that causes problems in some areas. Music is nice. Skills like hard hit and others are found on most character choices. Thus skills are not at "individual as the makers claim". Also, Repeat playability is going to be hampered by the troublesomeness of many of the poor features in the game. North American Markets as well get a "gore down" version. Support is planned only for North American and Eurpean Markets so Australia, NZ and Asian potential customers have been "bunged". Overall it is a major disappointment and a good example of what happens when concept meets market management. Expand

Incredibly poorly designed game. The decisions the designers made are at times even worse than the D3 devs. I think this game was probably the most disappointing game I'Ve everplayed after Diablo 3.

It seems like a decent enough game, except the devs didn't think to include the ability to change screen resolutions. So I'm stuck playing this game on a widescreen monitor at some abysmally low resolution with huge black borders everywhere (even on the top and bottom). Maybe sometime in the future i'll give it another go. but for now it deserves a 2. Expand

  1. Sacred sets out to be little more than you’re typical hack and slash feast but with gorgeous graphics and a storyline/sound effects to match, but why shouldn’t we all devour it anyway?

Fun, addictive and quite compelling, although the repetitive nature of the gameplay does it no favours and certainly won't win over those who require something a little deeper and more meaningful. The game at least captures some of the spirit of "Diablo."
  3. I was addicted again for days to the Plus version despite playing the original over half a year ago. The thing with Sacred is despite all its flaws it keeps you coming back for more and that for me is the sign of a quality RPG.
