To do this the player should gather resources. Hitting a tree with a rock will give you wood, hitting a rock with a rock will give you rock and ore. You can then craft a hatchet from the wood and rock, allowing you to gather faster. You can go out and hunt a variety of wildlife such as boars, chickens, rabbits, bears, wolves and deer. Once you have killed an animal you can butcher it to gather its meat and skin. You can craft a fire using wood and cook the meat inside the fire. Then you can eat. You face two major dangers in game. Rust is a multiplayer game, so there will be other players trying to survive in the same way that you are. Unfortunately for you they can find you, kill you and take your stuff. Fortunately for you – you can kill them and take their stuff. Or maybe you can make friends and help each other survive. Rust’s world is harsh – so you might need to make friends to survive. The environment is not kind. Bears and wolves will chase and kill you. Falling from a height will kill you. Being exposed to radiation for an extended period will kill you. Starving will kill you.     Rust is still as addictive as it was. Maybe, because of its early success, we expected more from it, and in that case it can be disappointed. It still needs to be polished and improved, but at its core, Rust is a great crafting and survival game.

    Ok it gets a 10/10 for me because the 6.3 is way too low for what this game delivers. 8/10 would be closer to the truth. I started the game with 2 irl friends ( i recommend playing it with friends is way more fun) and we had an absolute blast. Alot of unpredictibility describes this game from people trying to kill you arround half of the map to nice people who are genuinely trying to help you. Once you get the basics and learn the map a little this game is pure fun ofc it has things it has to work on but i would gladly advise anyone to buy and try it.… Expand

    Best of the best of its kind. Developers do their best to make this game even better by releasing new content, world updates and UI/UX improvements.

    It is used to be a good game when it is realsed but now it is not a survival game anymore. It is kind of FPS game.

    I can't think of anything good about this game, it's just plain awful.

    I was expecting the feeling I had when I first entered Ark. In Ark I was in awe, and loved the look and feel of everything, even the creatures that ganked me every 5 seconds, lol

    But nope, I materialised into this game and just felt meh, then after a few hours I felt a big fat meh and killed the game's process. It wasn't even worth my time to wait for it to close properly.    … Expand

    Have played this game for over a year, I have 3639 hours played and I had to fight nonstop to enjoy myself at all for like a hour or so at aHave played this game for over a year, I have 3639 hours played and I had to fight nonstop to enjoy myself at all for like a hour or so at a time. Developed a system to run rig with just a compound bow and they nerfed rig to nolonger have recycler. Got into using balloons and they blocked the windows so theres only one exit (balloons land near to random and sometimes you will find your door in front of a wall and then you realize the balloon is stuck... only two options then, destroy balloon with 1k+ health or just /kill and come back for body, when you used to just use the other two portholes) and implemented newer flying vehicles that aren't necessary and break the game more than rig could. The graphics are sh!t, the game runs like @ss, and the people are all d!cks due to their constant struggle with the game. Personally don't understand why all games have to be so **** I came to this game hoping for inspiration and encouragement that the game industry is doing well because its a bit of a indie title and 76 went around saying it was gonna be a rust clone before it released buggy and broken... like this one. At least their halfway honest I guess. Don't buy. Not even on steam sale. I wouldn't even recommend playing for free because it is so frustrating, hurts the eyes and has no true depth or fun anymore. They just keep making the game worse too. I had better graphics when i started and now it looks worse than minecraft... which is really saying something.… Expand
