    A nice porting but without mouse and keyboard support, and the chance to create commercial games.

    The editor software is mostly for editing the content and requires no knowledge of Javascript. It comes with many plugins that were considered "necessities" in VX Ace. Base resources include a Fantasy set and a SciFi set.

    Pros: Javascript based engine on top of pixi.js. Uses node.nw as the game client on Mac/PC. If your computer can run Chrome, it can run the game. Stock graphics are useful, character generator can generate millions of character variety (but all have the same basic face.) Plenty of free plugins included, and the community creates new resources and plugins to do new things.

    Negs: OpenGL ES2 support on is flakey or broken in many driver versions. So one person may get a 60fps game, and another person may get 5fps on the exact same hardware. Downside? Not all devices (or browsers) are built to the same quality, so while your game may work on all platforms, not every platform is a good experience.     They fixed all the bugs I found in VX Ace and made it Java. I did never understand Ruby.
