The major achievement of Rocket League is how it offers something for both casual and competitive gamers. As a casual gamer, you can play it with your friends and have great fun. The major achievement of Rocket League is how it offers something for both casual and competitive gamers. As a casual gamer, you can play it with your friends and have great fun. If you are more competitive, you can go into ranked mode and see the extremely high skill ceiling that Rocket League provides. Watch some youtube videos and you will see the ridiculous moves the more pro gamers can do, which obviously comes with a lot of training. So, if you enjoy getting better as you spend hundreds of hours on a video game, Rocket League will please you. There is basically no limit to how much you can improve your skills.

    In addition, the game has very tight controls and fun gameplay. I hated the music, but that’s personal taste. The only reason I did not love Rocket League as much as many others, is that in my opinion, the game at its core is very basic. I did enjoy it for several hours, but I could not take it seriously for longer than that. There is absolutely nothing wrong about making a game with basic gameplay especially when it was executed perfectly like in the case of Rocket League. I just can’t justify giving it a higher score, taking into consideration all the other video games I’ve had more fun playing.

    An addicting and super amusing game of cars kicking balls into nets. Playing with friends is really fun and focusing on competitive is also enjoyable. It's cheap, looks nice and it is very good. A must-have.

    Luego de años en la tienda de steam con la comunidad apoyando el título, "Psyonix Games" ha decidido cagarse en la gente y llevar su título exclusivo a la epic games store, (obviamente sacándolo de steam en el proceso, ya que a partir de finales de 2019 será removido permanentemente de steam).

    Esto va a causar que la comunidad de jugadores en steam deje de crecer y que de a poco el    Luego de años en la tienda de steam con la comunidad apoyando el título, "Psyonix Games" ha decidido cagarse en la gente y llevar su título exclusivo a la epic games store, (obviamente sacándolo de steam en el proceso, ya que a partir de finales de 2019 será removido permanentemente de steam).

    Esto va a causar que la comunidad de jugadores en steam deje de crecer y que de a poco el juego muera por falta de jugadores nuevos, causando que todos aquellos jugadores que disfruten del juego no puedan seguirlo jugando en multijugador (lo más interesante de este juego).

    No solo esto, sino que además todo el contenido lanzado posteriormente a este acuerdo que tuvieron con Epic Games Store, será exclusivo para la misma y NO saldrá en steam, haciendo que las versiones de los jugadores que hubieran comprado el título en steam quede incompleta y ya no reciba actualizaciones.
    Por decirlo de otra forma, toda la gente que lo tenga en steam se caga, y si quiere el nuevo contenido lo tiene que volver a comprar, y encima en la Epic Games Store.

    i Love the fact that this game is ALL about skill. There isn't a "luck script" or scripted things like in most of the games. if something happens, it's because of your action or the opponent's one. It's fantastic for casual gamers, for the E-sport scene, and i love how in those 2 years it became one of the best E-sports of the world.

    Rocket League is a game you can always come back to no matter what. It is based mainly on online multiplayer granting you satisfaction as you climb through the ranks to try and get better rewards by the end of each season, with only a few negatives such as slow updates and toxic players this game is a must have for the price.

There's cosmetic loot boxes but they are very discreet and you only spend extra money if you really want to. On top of that it's very reasonably priced and it features amazing graphics, presentation and soundtrack. A must play if you like mechanically complex, skill based competitive games and even if you don't, there's still plenty of fun to be found just by goofing around with some friends.    … Expand

With the perfect amount of competition and improvement within the game is absolutely flawless. It's all about how you want to play. This is a fantastic game, and I recommend it to anyone to likes to play with friends, or just wants to have a good time, because I can guarantee it: you will.… Expand

    Nice epic dynamic game, but also has a lot of problems, which can ruined all fun. Servers are in really bad condition - it's almost impossible to find match, where nobody has problems with packet loss or ping jumping. Another problem is physics, which can be totally random sometimes. That's why IMO this game never be good e-sport title.

    toxic community, too many boys that call teammates noob all the time, they are ruining the game. its only fun when you play 1 vs 1 or with some friends you can trust. i got 400+ hours of playtime, i mostly played with random teams, and now 1 vs 1 i have a higher rank than playing with teammates, this says enough. it always pisses me off to see people acting like this, when thetoxic community, too many boys that call teammates noob all the time, they are ruining the game. its only fun when you play 1 vs 1 or with some friends you can trust. i got 400+ hours of playtime, i mostly played with random teams, and now 1 vs 1 i have a higher rank than playing with teammates, this says enough. it always pisses me off to see people acting like this, when the other team is pussing and fighting i always tell the toxic player he has to shut up against his own teammates.
    if my random teammates are noobs and i am keeping the goal save all the time.....but they dont score, they still get mad and call me the noob..... its ridiculous, there should be a penalty system against these toxic players.    … Expand

Also, Psyonix has one of the worst support in the industry, if you write them an email because they will never answer you, they're busier making new crates to sell than fixing their game.     This is probably the best multiplayer game out right now. This is a skill based game, and it's refreshing to see such a game achieve this level of popularity. However, I have a hard time recommending this to casual players. The game has a steep difficulty curve, so be warned. This is a great game.

    Who knew that adding cars and sports would be fun? Oh, okay... that wasn't that hard to find out but the execution, gameplay, controls, camera, everything is really amazing.
    It's soccer with cars, basically that with a little of a demolition derby to it and turbo... it's that simple. And it's sooo good. at first you are lost and laughing the whole game,    New eSport and it's so much fun!

    For me, multiplayer doesn't get much better than rocket league. I've played over 600 hours and I can still kill myself laughing over bizarre and derpy goals. The game is so well-polished and well-executed that it makes playing it so fair and rewarding. It's also rewarding because you learn how to perform new maneuvers and improve on them over time - so you can look back at how you usedFor me, multiplayer doesn't get much better than rocket league. I can't praise this game much more, but I will say that there are some issues with matchmaking. There are instances where you will get matched against players that are far better or worse than you (this is more typical if you're playing in a group or at the beginning of a season in ranked). And my only caution to new players thinking of getting the game is that because the portion of the player base that are beginners I believe is small now, you may have alot of tough matches ahead of you.     It is hard (or impossible) to overstate how much fun this game is, because you get no assistance from the computer. Everything you get in this game is earned through skill. Lucky shots exist, but you'll find that the only way to perform consistently is to master control of your car and collisions with the ball.

    There are only minor differences between the myriad cars you see in the screenshots, so everything comes down to player skill, not choice of car. "Play balance" isn't something we have to worry about here.

    After over 300 hours with this title, I can say they have done the original game great justice, and created something that will last for many years to come. It only gets to be more fun as you get better at it.    … Expand

    Rocket League was an instant classic when it came out, and it has only gotten better over time. Endless replayability, and what is said about the game is true; it's a sports game for people that don't like sports games. It's worth the asking price two times over. Micro-transactions are cosmetic only.

    Cons: Bad for noobs (Extremely hard to learn)

    At the simplest Rocket League is soccer with cars. Not being a soccer fan in general I passed on this initially but when I did give a fair try I was hooked.

    Easily one of the most popular multiplayer sports games of the industry. Rocket League is a crazy but fun car-soccer game that is certainly worth a try if you want to diverge from your usual action multiplayers.

    A very good take on "car football", this game gives you many hours of fun. It has a great plethora of customization options, and lots of room for you grow and develop new techniques as a player. Playing with some friends is a true joy and will not leave you disappointed.

    O jogo é algo fora do comum, futebol de carros que funciona, a física do jogo é boa, o jogo é extremamente divertido, ainda mais se você estiver com os seus amigos, o jogo não é apenas sorte, você precisa sim saber jogar, se você sabe voar no jogo você já tens uma vantagem imensa sobre os oponentes, mas não quer dizer que você irá ganhar, ter uma comunicação no jogo é essencial noO jogo é algo fora do comum, futebol de carros que funciona, a física do jogo é boa, o jogo é extremamente divertido, ainda mais se você estiver com os seus amigos, o jogo não é apenas sorte, você precisa sim saber jogar, se você sabe voar no jogo você já tens uma vantagem imensa sobre os oponentes, mas não quer dizer que você irá ganhar, ter uma comunicação no jogo é essencial no competitivo. Os únicos lados negativos do jogo são, sua internet tem que estar totalmente dedicada para o jogo, as vezes tu entra em uma partida cujo o seu amigo esta parado, se ele ficar muito tempo parado ele é expulso, algo que é bom pois entra um bot que muitas vezes te da raiva, mas alguém depois pode o substituir. As vezes o servidor da América do Sul caí fora do ar e demora uns dias pra voltar. Também tem o problema de conexão, se teu ping ta ruim na América do Sul e tu colocar para jogar na do Norte você vai conseguir jogar melhor.… Expand

    I've played Rocket League for over a year now and I can't find anything wrong with it. Its competitive platform is growing along with the game itself it makes anyone feel like they can win and play competitively. My favorite game of all time!

    i am dissapointed with the customer service and security standards of the game itself because they are not able to put items into an account when there are a lot of people getting scammed and hacked which is my case

    Excellent game! A lot of fun i recommend this to everyone!!! It's only you ability with the game controller. The best game ever created i hope one day Psyonix will release another good game as this. This is better when you play with friends, for me this game is a AAA.

If you are wanting a competitive game......STAY AWAY.....There are currently 3 main issues that have existed since beta that have yet to be fixed, and most likely never will be fixed....Note, if not for these issues the game would easily be an 8/10....which is alot, I've never given a game a 10.

    1) Server issues, when many players are on, expect    The game is very fun for casual play. If you are wanting a competitive game......STAY AWAY.....There are currently 3 main issues that have existed since beta that have yet to be fixed, and most likely never will be fixed....Note, if not for these issues the game would easily be an 8/10....which is alot, I've never given a game a 10.

    2) Physics, sometimes the ball physics just fail....which can determine who wins the match.
    3) MatchMaking, some of the worst matchmaking in any online game.........unfortunately, it looks like they can't fix it.

    I dont understand the high scores. Desent gameplay but not all that fun and after every frigging goal a replay that you cant turn of but must klick a button to not see.

    Seems a lot of ppl think its replicate indoor soccer well not any of the 400+ games I played irl.

    The gameplay itself is quite addictive, but unfortunately the player experience is completely ruined by its silly matchmaking system, which is the worst I've ever seen. It will let you play streaks of up to 10 unwinnable games against game champions, and then you will have a much too easy match against complete noobs who can barely touch the ball.     I have more than 2000h invested in this game and I've been enjoying it a lot. However that 'heavy car' bug that was introduced around 2 or 3 months ago has been daunting me. Psyonix are too busy swimming in their pool of sweet, sweet, crate money to fix the game. Oh, and you can add horrible optimized servers and a disgusting community to the pack.

    The game is fun, there is nothing boring. I only care about single player so in that perspective there is a season you can play with variety of different free cars and in many different arenas, controls are simple but require some time getting use to. Graphics are good, music is excellent. And the AI can give you tough time in match.

The tutorial ensures that you get these basics down and before long you'll be wanting to wall ride and using your boost for aerial strikes, both of which are difficult to master.

    When you’ve finally gotten the hang of driving, Rocket League is an absolute joy. The rules are the same whether you’re playing 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 matches: earn the most points in five minutes. You nudge, slam, bonk, or bash the ball into your opponents’ goal. The arena walls are banked into high walls, so the ball is in play no matter how exuberantly it’s been hit, which keeps the action moving. The arenas are sized nicely, too. They’re small enough to where you can assist on defense if you see an opponent tearing toward your goal, but they’re large enough so players aren’t unnecessarily trading paint just driving into position. The sense of momentum is exhilarating and every moment feels like a highlight reel, thus I'd recommend a controller since it is slightly easier to get a hang of the controls. As the case with any of these multiplayer games, having friends along to coordinate with is just an added layer of fun, although the ingame text options do a good enough job of communicating information.

    Matches are short and players are given a steady drip of cosmetic upgrades for their vehicles by simply participating. None of them affect gameplay, but a variety of hats, paint effects, body types, and smoke-trail designs let players show off their personality during the slow-motion replays. This sort of progression isn't a highlight, but still serves as a reason to continue outside of the adrenaline rush. On the audiovisual spectrum, the in-game action goes by too quickly to appreciate the visual details, from the textures on the arena floors to the flecks of glitter in the paint. It’s all beautiful without being distracting, and is performance friendly. This is supported by the ability to save replays, something I care to admit doing at least a dozen times by now. The electronic music is saved for menus, but the in-match audio capture that same atmosphere you would find in actual soccer matches, making even 0-0 matches thrilling from start to finish.

    The only few complaint I have with Rocket League are the bot AI who fill in when not enough players are in the match. They perform decently, but you'll be yearning for some real teammates after a single match with them, they seldom play offense and their defense is passable. This sort extends to the season mode, where you can face off against the AI in a sort of regular season of customizable amount of games and teams, all of which can keep you busy, but closer on the lackluster side due to the relative easiness of it all. Don't play Rocket League to have fun on your own w/bots, which is possible, but you'll be doing yourself a disservice. Luckily the matchmaking is solid w/only a few instances of me getting frustrated at the lack of getting connected to a server.

    Rocket League is a tight package that managed to convince me that cars and soccer are the best thing to happen to either one. It's visual appeal, responsiveness, and replayability showcases that you can have fun without a sodium overdrive or need to kill something, something plaguing a good amount of online games today. Don't expect any appeal in it's single player experience, the multiplayer will keep you up begging for just one more.    … Expand

    This game is well worth the money. Super fun to play and very addictive. I'm excited to see how the Rumble update improves the game. I dislike the ranking system as it's based on levels, which can be attained by playing a lot and not by actual skill.

In this game clever bots, can play multiplayer with friends, vs random opponents, good animation graphics, epic goals and in beginning this game seems hard, but then this game seems easy . This game hasnt got storyline (but this game isnt needed storyline) . This game one of the best game of 2015, very amazing game .

    So much fun with this game. Its good because no need to wait long for find a new game. Matches are really fast, dynamic. Its great game to listen music while playing. But I would like to see a new mode with the ball that doenst fly so high, a little faster back down. Ball on the pitch moves enough fast, but in the air falling too slowly.
    Maybe maps with barriers, maps wheres pitch is not flat ?

    Amazing game.

    Very fun and has a lot of replay value with its pretty big community. Sure you might not win every game but you'll have fun non the less. The only thing that is wrong it that the cars are quite clunky for new players.

    I love this game. The physics behind the game is awesome and easy to learn then but when it come to DLC. I which they can add more car instead that we have to buy them. That's sucks. I only have one DLC and that is DeLoreon. I love time machine and every detail it got is ultimate awesome. No more DLC DeLoreon.     Rocket League is an unique game, with just amazing physics and flawless design. It's great for both casual and hardcore gamers, and, if you're skeptical about getting this game because you dislike football or racing games or both, you still need to buy and play this game.     Pros: Great graphics and overall gameplay, way more fun than usual sports game and very customizable game modes.

    Cons: The worst camera I've ever had to experience, counting every single videogames I've ever played in my whole life. The camera does not offer free control, you're either looking at the ball or you're looking in front of your car.     Need to unzoom because the ball is high up behind you? Too bad, you have to either see your car or the ball, not both, in this situation.
    Also, the game is made to be played with a controller. You do have the ability to rotate the camera slightly with a controller, but still barely.

    Overall, the game is absolutely amazing but looses 3 points for the terrible camera, it's really that bad.
    And it isn't worth taking off points just because it's made for a controller or because the bots even on All-Star difficulty tend to be rather stupid and mix teams.    … Expand

The ball and the cars both obey a totally unrealistic physics, where they hang in the air for periods of time far longer than their weight would allow. The ball kicks like a soccer ball, but floats like a beach ball and slows down randomly, making it almostIt's fun to bounce the ball around in a random free-for-all, but try playing seriously, and you quickly run into a bunch of issues. This, combined with false camera angles, makes it even harder.
    A bunch of other issues:
    - The devs have lied about car stats, claiming they're all the same, when controlled testing by players has shown they have very different hit boxes, turning radiuses, boost kicks and power slide times.
    - You can play a season in solo mode, but you're not allowed to create a private season with friends - only exhibition games. Why limit our choices to play the way we want?
    - Car AIs behave very differently, and you can't recruit the best AIs onto your team in season mode.
    - The devs have even admitted they use prediction algorithms to 'cheat' by moving the ball and repositioning players in online games to make up for lag and make sure the computers have an advantage. I.e., the computer knows where the ball is going to land, knows where you're going to be in the next few seconds, and can move either thing to make it "right" so the interaction plays out the way it wants it to. No wonder you can drive right at the ball and suddenly find yourself speeding by it.

    In all, the game is cute, but totally rigged against players to increase artificial "challenge". And that gets frustrating quickly.    … Expand

Wether you're a hardcore addict or just someone who enjoys playing casual games you will definitely have a good time!     If more people played this game the world would be a better place. You log in at 8:30 PM and you look up and its 2 :30 am and you cant believe that much time just went by that's how addictive this game is and it looks like it could get better.

    Lets see:The concept works awesome with the game,i like how you move your car in the air and how you can climb,the only con of the gameplay is the ball cam,that is important.Graphics are AWESOME.The music althrough not memorable is one of the best.and the customizable gameplay makes it worth the money.i give this game a 9.5/10

    For the initial price of $20, some of the best money I've ever spent, and I really feel I'm gonna keep it around for years to come

    Simple concept, colorful graphisms and totally fun. It's a really nice game. i spent hours and hours on it ! But it is too expansive for me.
    I think he would have lot of success on Wii U.

    Broken multiplayer, unable to login on Rocket League servers, 80% of the fun is gone, maybe when the devs get tired of filling their pockets with money, they will fix the game so everybody could play it online.

    The answer is simple, it’s just fun.

    Now comparing Halo 5 to Rocket League isn’t entirely fair I’ll agree, they’re two different Genres and two very different games, but what I will say after having blasted my way through 10, 000 rooms of identical enemies over the course of the Halo 5 Campaign I was as bored as Lindsay Lohan at a sobriety seminar.

    Then came Rocket League, oh sweet Rocket League.

    Rocket League puts you in control of a Car; you play soccer against opponent vehicles to score more points. You can jump and boost your way around the map, the physics engine creates all sorts of random possibilities and there’s a real sense of accomplishment when things go exactly as you hoped they would and sometimes when they don’t.

    There’s offline mode with bots and a varety of ranked and unranked online matches, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 (my personal favorite).

    I would also like to add there are some fantastic customization options for your car that you unlock as you progress, they’re nothing extravagant and they don’t add any advantage or disadvantage to their use, but they feel well placed in a game as whacky as this.

    All in all this game cannot be faulted for anything I can think of.

    It’s simple, fast paced, fun, addictive and a rewarding experience.

    You can also upgrade cars, tires, paint jobs, ornaments, etc. with experience or cheap DLC packs.

    Normally I hate DLC just to put more money in a huge multinational's pockets.

    But when the original game launched at $20 (cheaper with sales and coupons) I don't mind paying a few dollars for a small DLC pack to give a small team some support. This is the way to do DLC. Top quality game, small price, small DLC packs showing continued development.

    Gameplay: The whole concept of this game is about two teams that drive cool and imaginative cars that fight against each other to score goals by using the physics of their cars to kick a giant glowing ball. It's pretty fun and smooth like peanut butter. It's design is near perfect. And there is 4 modes that you can play, which are: 1vs1 (where only you can play against another player), 2vs2 (where you with a teammate can play against two other players from the other team), 3vs3 (where you with two other teammates can play against three other players from the other team) and 4vs4 (where you with three other teammates can play against four other players from the other team). All of the modes feel perfectly designed. Also, you can play against and with bots, which is still fun, where bots provide most of the time a good AI. But there is one flaw. This game isn't a game that you should play without friends, because if you do, you will get easily bored, because it tends to become repetitive. Yes, the flaw is the repetitivness. I like the car customization; it gives a reason to keep playing the game. But, guys, the many ways you can kick the ball is staggering, I mean, you can do those fancy aerial kicks, even though I perform them very rarely, but many pros can do that. There is tons of kicks you can do and they are oh so satisfying to perform, because of the perfect physics that this game has. (8/10)
    Engine: It looks visually smooth and it's perfectly designed. The engine here shines brightly, not only because of the very good graphics, but more because of the perfect physics. The physics here are so slick, so stunning its overwhelming. The maps are well designed and the car models are just beautiful. (10/10)
    Sound:
    A very solid soundtrack and nice sound effects. (10/10)
    Replay value:
    This is a mixed bag. If you'll play this game with friends, this game is surely awesome during every match. But if you'll play alone, be prepared to face a slight boredom after 50 matches, because it does show the repetitivness of the game more than it does when you're playing with friends. (7.5/10)
    So, Rocket League is a fantastic game and real achievement when it comes to it's engine, and also providing one of the smoothest gameplay out there. BuY THIS GAME! (8.9/10)    … Expand

Controls are easy to learn but hard to master, allowing more skilled players to shine above others. Matches are short and can seem quite hectic, but a team with proper tactics will still be in a better position to win than a team thatRocket League is a very fun and enjoyable game, even if it is somewhat lacking in variety.     Do you remember “Top Gear” episodes in which football matches were played using hatchbacks? The same idea is the cornerstone of Rocket League – one of those jewels that do not care for bells and whistles (though it does look great) and Kevin Spacey in the credits, instead focusing on squeezing every last drop of fun out of a simple concept.
