Dec 29, 2011A really REALLY hilarious game! With an artistic bizarre style that will make you laugh a lot between every level of the History mode. The versus mode are also great and very fun, quick battles, if you are looking for fast play between team-mates to laugh constantly then this is your game. After all, not every game has to be a never ending hours of battle on each match, right?

Sep 8, 2011Totally funny. I love it. It's not just another generic game. It's refreshingly orignal. great work, ace team. Multiplayer is also very funny. build traps for the enemie's boulder and crush the game of your steam-friends. Controlls are pretty good. easy controll with keyboard and mouse. also played the xbox version which is also good, but PC version is much much much better.

Sep 9, 2011This was a really refreshing take on gaming. Well designed with funny interludes. The game-play really makes this worth the money. I'd be looking forward to their next game. Highly recommended.

Nov 27, 2011The game kinda reminds me of chess, just with rolling boulders in it. Singleplayer is great for the hilarious cutscenes, and crazy boss fights, but multiplayer is where its really at. Sadly, the lobby is almost always empty, so it might be difficult to find anyone to play.

May 10, 2013I think this is best racing game for family.
Not too easy, not too hard.
Easy to learn how to play. (Just build some obstacle for enemy and Go race!)
Play best with 2 Xbox360 Controller.
Can play "Local Co-op" (splitscreen)
Good to play with girlfriend. -
Mar 7, 2012Half tower defense...half reverse tower defense. I love games where you get to destroy stuff and this one fills my destructive appetite. The cut scenes are great--extremely funny. Perfect game for an XBOX controller. Has multiplayer too. A rock solid production!

Jun 5, 2014A true gem, I was so surprised to witness how much fun this game is! It is exciting, and it makes you laugh when you don't expect. Controls remind me of Katamari games, which are absent on the PC platform. So I highly recommend, it's so good that it will make you question why you pay $60 for a game, where you can have so much fun for so little money!

Jun 4, 2013Leonardo da Vinci rolling boulders down a hill to kill peasants, crush houses, defeat Gods and eventually breach into Marie Antoniette castle (and cruelly squash her). Do I need to say more?
Single player mode is good but also quite easy. Start playing this with some friends of yours to unlock endless fun. -
Jun 24, 2015A fun historical game, very funny and very very challenging, also it includes multiplayer, a very fun and challenging game to play alone or with your friends!

Oct 11, 2020Very fun and interesting game. Lots of different levels and challenges. Rolling a boulder never felt so great before.

Dec 31, 2020Rock of ages explores a completely new set of game mechanics and play style . Its whimsical art style is also admirable . The comedy however , often falls flat .

Jan 23, 2012An enjoyable and, dare I say, cozy game, even though it has neither flashy graphics, nor innovative gameplay ideas, nor much variety.
-
PC PowerPlayDec 4, 2011Its creative and quirky nature is let down by mechanics that don't feel strongly realised, Rock of Ages is still good for the occasional roll. [Christmas 2011, p.67]
-
Nov 9, 2011This is a game about smashing up artwork with a big rock, and there's nothing wrong with that. [Holiday 2011, p.79]
