I'm not even far in but the A.I partner you're stuck with is ruining the game for me entirely. I want to play on Survival mode and be accountable for myself, not incredibly slow A.I that's too slow/unresponsive to RUN when I do, and too stupid to know to dodge or at least move away from danger. The first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a survival horror game of the new age. Maybe not exactly as the genre used to be, but with respect to its roots.
  2. If you are a Resident Evil fan, you should consider playing Revelations 2: Episode One. Raid mode and story mode look fine, but doesn’t support online co-op (at least, until the episode 4 release).

A so-so start to this new series. The multiple character stuff is interesting, but weak shooting and bland environments let it down.
