Sep 19, 2013I really enjoyed this game from start to finish it's has a good story and is my favourite of the whole series
the only problem is that AI isn't good at all and the game seems to be a bit easy -

Aug 29, 2013This is the first game I've tried in the series and after an hour of REALLY trying, I'm bitterly disappointed with it because it looks like it could be really awesome but the controls are so abysmally horrible. There is no flow and it's as if the main character has been doused in tree sap that solidifies more and more as the game goes on.

Jun 29, 2013the game is so great but it doesn't feel like a resident evil game it is filled with so much action and the story isn't that good maybe mediocre but the gameplay is so fun and great and it becomes even more great if you play it with CO OP but shava AI is so bad it wastes so many ammo and you'll curse her a lot in this game believe me still it is a great game

Mar 23, 2013Brilliant PC port.
The game is great (100 times better then RE6)
Yes I agree it's not scary as the previous series but it's realy enjoyable game.
But to bad that Capcom did not gived us The Gold Edition for PC. -
Mar 17, 2013Picked this game up for only $3. Yes, it is no longer a survival horror but an action game. Honestly this game is so dry, boring, linear and extremely unsatisfying to play it.

Jan 7, 2013Wasn't playing resident evil series since RE 3 because of some personal life reasons. I knew RE 4 was good though. Recently I got a chance to play with the RE revaluation and it recovered my interest. This game is fit for a score of 8 just not as good as I expected.

Dec 15, 2012Very good game but gets out of the history of the old resident evil 1,2 and 3. In short it is a great game you got some action but took away the importance of fear, great history but the cooperative failure.

Oct 3, 2012This game looks pretty good for a DX10 game made back in '09. This is a so so console port. The controls are made for a game pad and not key board and mouse. This game wants to be really fun but the controls are really clunky. The windows live sign in was a joke. The saving in this game is a nightmare. This is a $10 game at this point and nothing more.

Sep 27, 2012Don't buy this **** Don't rely on paid reviews. This is not a PC game. The mouse control implementation is extremely poor. Mouse sensitivity changes when you walk and every time the buggy braindead console port fails to catch an exception. And since the porting "engineers" bought their credentials on some webpage, they cannot even understand how to patch it.

Overall, if you can put up with DRM and GFWL headaches, and don't mind risking losing your save games and progress - or at least having them tethered and more complicated than they need to be - Resident Evil 5 for the PC is probably the version to get.
-
It may not be a radically new Resident Evil 5, but the PC version of the game still manages to hold its own with an improved control scheme and extra Mercenaries mode.
-
Hands down, a great adaptation of a great game.
