  1. AI is absolutely down right dumber than a puppy chew toy.
  2. A great concept filled with potential butchered by its numerous problems.
  3. But most of all, when you NEED TO KNOW precisely which friendly land or air unit you're using that handy menu to send off, you're often completely at a loss.

    You'll likely spend more time laboriously and tediously pumping out units and then frantically chasing after them than doing anything rewarding or intelligent...Real War plays like a tired, third-rate RTS copycat.

It's a bit of a bitter-sweet event - the joy of many being able to dabble in a legend in way that doesn't involve looking at code is mitigated somewhat due to the fact that the only reason we're getting this is because the developers are being let down by the US system.     Have played numerous RTS games and have to say that the original C&C from 1995 was far more appealing than this disfunctional and ugly bastardHave played numerous RTS games and have to say that the original C&C from 1995 was far more appealing than this disfunctional and ugly bastard child. I find it hard to believe that such a poor game could come out in 2001. Some say there are some good points to the game, but the only one I could find was the button the exited back to my desktop. Not the worst game I've ever seen, but pretty close. Full Review »
