Amazing. Much better than the first game. Great graphics, chalanging puzzles and at least not bad storyline. Pleasant surprise.

Very enjoyable puzzle platformer, with stunning visuals both on ultra and low settings, eye candy for everyone!
Puzzles are at a level that can please both casual as hardcore gamers.
The story might be mediocre for some, but i really enjoyed it, i liked the plot, the voice acting was really good and it never felt boring. The only complaint i really have about the game is that there is

The only complaint i really have about the game is that there is little to no replay value, i would have loved to see something of a time attack or maybe even a way to create your own levels for others to play.

    8/10 game

Visuals are more impressive than the first game and some really inventive puzzles. The difficulty curve is spot on. Certain things could be a tad better but overall a fun and challenging experience.

This is the best pure puzzle game I've played since portal. The narrative is captivating and is paced well between the puzzles, it leaves you thinking about every line, almost a puzzle in itself.

The music while fitting is not very memorable, it makes you think in the moment but you quickly forget it. This is a point i think could be improved. The atmospheric sounds and footsteps are

The graphics are very very nice. You will want to look around or stop and stare in many places. It's not distracting during puzzles, but is beautiful when it needs to be. It gives a very portal feel.

The puzzles. The most important part in a game like this. They are perfect. The difficulty slowly ramps up in a nice way, where you will be challenged more, but have the experience to solve it. New mechanics are introduced often enough that you do not get bored, but not so quick that you get overwhelmed.

I wish this game was a little longer, but it is probably long enough for most at around 5-6 hours.

Just finished this game after almost exactly 6 hours. So, much like it's predecessor, it's a relatively brief experience. However, it's visually more appealing and at least as far is I can recall the original QUBE, this one feels more polished when it comes to how everything controls.

There are unfortunately a bunch of problems with it though. For one thing, the puzzles are pretty easy

There are unfortunately a bunch of problems with it though. For one thing, the puzzles are pretty easy for the most part. I think I only recall two where I was like "I'll come back to this tomorrow". And I'm not that good at puzzle games - as evidenced by other reviews where people write that they've finished QUBE 2 in 2 or 4 hours.
Also, while the visuals are of course a vast improvement and largely very nice to look at - for one thing, there are some textures with oddly low resolutions here and there (broken lights), some lens flares (those of the big rectangular, red lights) lag behind and overall, I didn't find the design to have enough variety. At least the indoor sections. Outdoor is fine (and looks pretty stunning) but indoor could've especially used more variation in terms of color. It reminded me of that Mirror's Edge time trials DLC where each level felt unique because of its color and structure. QUBE 2 does offer SOME variety but in my opinion, not enough.

Music seems a bit odd because sometimes, something fades in but most of the game is without. I think that they should've made a decision on whether there should be no music in general or everywhere.

The story is pretty decent but be warned - once you've finished the game, your save will be purged and you have to play it a second time if you want to see a different ending. But... there are no special perks or anything different about that second run. There's no way that I will do that because while it was very amusing, without any incentive aside from a different ending - no.

Qube 2 is a really good puzzle game. Just the right amount of difficulty imho. Not overly hard puzzles, but enough to make me stop and think without getting too frustrated. Progress through the game was mostly smooth. I didn't need a walk through except for one part of the very last puzzle that had me stumped. Game had about the right length. Just as I was starting to want to reach the end it found it's conclusion. If you like the game, I understand there are a couple DLC that increase the difficulty level if that is your thing.

I don't have much to say about the story other than there is one of a sci-fi nature to accompany you along the way. Story will not stick with me, but just enough to make me wonder what's going on.

Basic mechanics are variations of using blocks, bouncers, pushers, sliders, oil/fire, buttons, etc in proper series of combinations to complete levels. The design of the puzzle often will quickly tip you to what needs to be done, and other times it takes more observation to realize how all the components of a puzzle might fit together.

    I enjoyed this.

It's fun and relaxing. The visuals are an improvement compared to the first game. The story keeps you interested and moving forward, but isn't that compelling.

Even though the puzzles were fun to do, they lacked any real challenge. Most of the puzzles were easy and those that were supposed to be "harder" just contained more steps to solving the puzzle.

    Still a nice game.

The continuation of the famous CUBE game gave us even more sophisticated puzzles, decorated in a beautiful wrapper with modern graphics. The story here, finally, is completed. This time I am completely satisfied with the ending. And unlike the first part, it has a very pleasant, varied and interesting environment / zones.

Qube 2 good heritage of first game. Not big surprise about this game it better in all aspects, i mean better graphic, better sound effect and what interesting have story with simple plot, but it`s not a key feature of this game, the main aspect it`s a puzzle and it perfect and simple. As interesting, manipulating colored blocks can be kinda fun =D. So if tired of all this shooters, actionQube 2 good heritage of first game. Brilliant Portel-esque game with creative and at times challenging puzzles. Graphically very nice. Had lots of fun with this one.

The rigid structure of the story and some insignificances can’t throw a shade over all qualities of Q.U.B.E. 2. Gradually, it will teach you its crazy tricks and you will feel so smart that it may surprise you. [Issue#285]

Q.U.B.E 2 starts well. Q.U.B.E 2 is pretty. Unfortunately, Q.U.B.E 2 never manages to surprise the player. Here's a good puzzle game that could have achieved so much more.

The sequel does everything better than the original Q.U.B.E. and is an absolute joy to look at. It is a great game for younger or less experienced players, because the puzzles, while satisfying, are easy and have single solutions. [05/2018, p.64]
