    Best game of its type i've ever played. Darksiders can kiss my ass. Super fun upgrading your mutated body all the time, Free-play missions are mixed well with main story, and difficulty curve is near perfect.

    Needs bit more colors and idea's for the textures on the buildings its a bit plain...... other than that... a good story, fun gameplay, a bit of repeating on what you are doing, nice lasting gameplay, not all around the best, but getting past that it has fun things to do....

    It is a brilliant game. Its not very hard because Alex is so damn strong. I'm sure this guy could wipe the floor with the incredible hulk. The only thing wrong with it is that it is a fair bit repetitive....

    Awesome game! Love the main character, and it's really fun.
    But the explosions SUCK! I get a very strong urge to break my computer screen whenever I see one of those explosions.

    Prototype is an awesome game I had ever played.It has a good story,fighting engine making it very nice..
    I like it more than GD3.Great game waitin for Prototype 2.!!!

    A very nice game indeed, a 1 man army is just what i like in games the domination, destruction, transformation, wonderful can't get enough ripping innocent people to shreds, best way to take off some stress... if you know what i mean..

    This is probably one of the most unique games I've ever played. I mean you have a huge selection of superpowers and you can use them however you want. The combat is good, superpowers are awesome and parkouring is very fluent. Also AI can be very stupid sometimes. You run on a wall near a soldier and he doesn't do **** Talking about the storyline I gotta say it's not that bad even thoughThis is probably one of the most unique games I've ever played.     Very good and interesting, game, esp for the people who like to destroy everything and be like a demigod.
    On the other hand although it's very good and well thought the fighting is to much repetitive and you are to strong.

    I do not understand the negative reviews. A good game for me makes me think about playing more and again. Prototype does that. It's fun, it's fast and it closes the gap between hack'n'slash, shooter, and generally sandbox games. The story is maybe not new, but still interesting, the combat chaotic at times, but manageable, and yes, sometimes it can be repetitive, but s till, it's fun.     Overall I definitely think it's a great game. I would give it a 10, if it weren't for the occasionally sluggish controls, and the somewhat inaccurate targeting system (might be my own fault), but it certainly is a great game. If you enjoy sandbox games, sci-fi (with a mix of post-apocalyptica and conspiracy), then look no further.    … Expand

    The high stress in missions would make one thankful that they have a free roam feature, otherwise, I'd be tearing my hair out the whole game. I've read some reviews and it turns out that most people who reviewed this game badly, had trouble figuring out the controls or they simply find the missions difficult.

    This game is definitely for the hardcore gamer, who is committed enough to memorize the controls and figure out tactics on how to better complete missions. Being super-powered doesn't mean that you can just blaze through the missions with ease (or it'll be extremely boring), and I think that some people tend to forget that.

    Most people have issues with the target lock feature, but there's a con; once you've locked unto a target, you don't have to pan the camera around to face it, so once you pick something up and want to throw it at your target, you can just do so and mercer automatically throws it at your target wherever it is. The gameplay can get chaotic so you'll find that this is a pretty useful feature.    … Expand

    Very nice game although the graphics aren't so amazing the gameplay is, its worth giving it a try if you like super-hero games like infamous but the story is a mess and i didnt enjoy it too much, graphics are a bit old, gameplay is very fun especially when you unlock all the powers, performance is solid, world is big,animations are fine , overal the game is good ,WORTH BUYING

    I was very excited when first I read about Prototype. The concept of playing an amnesic and vindictive superhero in an open world sounds very interesting/appealing. Prototype is a very fun game when it tries to give the player strong sensations through action. However, the game has several problems that almost turned me off. The side missions were boring and very repetitive. I was notI was very excited when first I read about Prototype. The side missions were boring and very repetitive. I was not interesting in the lore/story line of these missions. Fortunately, the main quest has a coherent, decent story that kept me on track. I wanted to know what would happen next to Alex Mercer and I cared about him. The fight scenes are really cool and make you feel like a total bad ♥♥♥! I encourage Radical Entertainment work and I hope that they are going to fix those small weaknesses. The game/franchise has potential to become better in the future.

    Prototype series is one of the most mechanically entertaining free roam action games out there, on par with Just Cause series. Combat is very visceral and fun, traversing is fast and satisfying, stealth is very boring but fortunately avoidable for the most parts.

    This game is the best god complex simulator out there, a super hero game with so much density in action that it still boggles my mind in how advanced it was for its time.     If somehow you played the 2018 Spider-Man, It may ruin some of this game aspect for you. Starting this one out, The game really looks messy in terms of being an open-world. Those missing elements can ruin the city for you while traveling.

    A massive variety of upgrades that is well made and actually crucial to some mission. There's a lot of level puzzle that rewards you if use your skills right. Whoever, you could just barge your way through everything if you're persistent enough.

    There are two types of boss fight in this game; Mobile and Immobile. While I love those Mobile one, I have the opposite take on the other. I wouldn't go into details, but you would notice what I'm taking about If you played this.

    Putting those negative aside, It has one of the smoothest character mobility I've played which makes you love the pace of it. In my 10 hours play-through campaign of it, the gameplay really carries this game back and makes you forget all the lacking details it may or may not have.    … Expand

    I would play it at an addictive level at the time. A great game, it still has costs. I wish P2 was a much better game. Alex Mercer is always a baby

    Игра бомба , конечно. В детстве тащился просто, крови - тьма, экшен - сочный, способности - на любой вкус. Сюжет, конечно - ни о чем, но интересные моменты присутствуют. Во 2 часть не играл и не буду, эту - советую.

    Combat'ı epey başarılıydı. Açtığınız skillerle düşmanlarınızı birçok farklı yöntemle alt edebiliyordunuz. Oyun hızı ile birlikte epey eğlenceli bir hal alıyordu.

Destroy the army with a direct attack, break helicopters in the air and crumple tanks like paper, or infiltrate the base unnoticed, disguise yourself as one of the military personnel and commit sabotage - the choice is yours.
    Graphically, the game looks pretty good for its time. The atmosphere of New York dynamically changes from calm to a complete apocalypse.
    To learn more about the story, Alex Mercer needs to absorb the DNA of people involved in the events that took place. Over time, the truth is revealed. In the end, the plot is capable of surprising.
    The biggest drawback of the game can be considered an overpowered final boss, which will force you to repeatedly start a difficult battle over and over again.

    Prototype isn’t the type of game that shines despite of all it’s flaws. No, Prototype is the kind of game that surprises us that it isn’t in a worse shape just because of all it’s shortcomings. A mediocre game that tried so hard to be cool that it got lost in shallowness.

    Prototype's combat and world traversal alone can provide more than a few hours of entertainment, I just can't get over how cheap a lot of the game feels. Whether it's the dated looks, its frustratingly difficult latter portion, or its awkward storytelling, Prototype often feels like a budget title that unfortunately doesn't have a budget price.
