It's a solid tower management game. Has all the little features and bits you'd expect from a game like this. It just gets a little easy and repetitive after a little while. Worth a look for fans of sim style management games.

Project Highrise is a well-featured game, but has quite a few quirks and bugs.

The game has a campaign in the form of 15 scenarios - easy, medium, and hard - and a sandbox mode. The scenarios each have 3 challenges. Building trees are complex and large. However, the gameplay is significantly less enjoyable because of the numerous bugs.

[][]Game Time & Replayability[][] 8/10. Good.

    [][]Audio[][] 8/10. Good.
Relaxing soundtrack, well suited to a simulator game like this. Background noises are not distracting and well-recorded.

    [][]Bugs[][] 2/10. Bad.
Need extra money? Raise rents to 200% just before midnight and then lower them right after. Evictions can be done cheaply by simply lowering the tenant's rent to $0. Apartments that cannot be built below ground can be moved to the basement after being built. You can build two floors and then delete the lower one.
The game will auto-save when you exit to main menu (there is no option to turn this off) and there is no way to load except from the main menu; this can result in the auto-save you want to load being overwritten, making the auto-save feature less useful.

    [][]Overall[][] (6+6+8+8+2)/5 = 6

If u like SimTower or YootTower then Project Highrise is a game that you need to play. Though lacking the livelier invite unlike SimTower, it is still a good and fun Tower Simulator building game. I hope theres more stuffs added soon in the SteamWorksop to make my tower look unique and interesting.

It’s a competent, accessible sim, but there is nothing special about it, so I didn’t miss it after I stopped playing it for the sake of this review. [12/2016, p.72]

Project Highrise offers a user-friendly environment and many hours of fun with the content-rich skyscraper construction and management simulation.

A fun, varied and relaxing skyscraper sim. It can be a little bit formal at times, and there are some glaring deficiencies, but it is a welcome return to this theme nonetheless.
