    До данной части играл только в первый гарден варфейр, так что сравнивать данную игру буду именно с ним.
    Мне очень нравится серия шутеров плантаций против зомби своей концепцией и легкой атмосферой. Но помимо этого в первой части была увлекательная система классов, которые надо было сбирать по кускам и это и было стимулом к репитативному повтору действий.
    В битве за Нейборвилль упразднили    До данной части играл только в первый гарден варфейр, так что сравнивать данную игру буду именно с ним.

    В битве за Нейборвилль упразднили эту систему и теперь из ящиков выбиваются только косметические шмотки. Может это и к лучшему (за исключением того, что подклассов больше нет - > меньше вариативности), но игра теперь совсем не стимулирует к продолжительной игре. Все дейлики выполняются за 15-30 минут, еженедельные квесты за час... И все. Больше игра не выдает никаких стимулов к продолжению игры.
    Если с вышесказанным можно смириться, то есть проблема, с которой уже никто не сможет поспорить - это мертвая игра. Сервера +/- наполняются только к вечеру, и то не во всех режимах. Эта проблема тянется с самой первой части, но разрабам/издателю просто плевать на неё.
    Написал уже и так много, краткий итог - не рекомендую никому.    … Expand

    This game is certainly made for a young audience. It is suffering from a lack of players, so playing during the nighttime hours has about 5 people playing. It was just okay for me.

    I was playing PvZ GW. In PvZ GW The characters had good skills and those skills worked well, but not in this game. Bean bomb flies for a short distance, imp too. There are no other versions of the same characters. Sounds are buggy and sometimes you cannot hear them. Play gw or gw 2

    I bought the standard edition for 2 thousand rubles, and was very disappointed, the game simply does not start, my hope for this game was the last, only gw2 and gw1 pleases me to this day and decided to try to play bfn. I got my money back without even playing it and the reason why the game didn't launch I tried to fix it but in the end I gave up

I remember when I got exited for the new pvz shooter game thinking it was going to be a gw3 what we got instead is a crappy overwatch clown with no variants and a trash gameplay this is the one of the most disappointing games if not the most disappointing game that came out in 2019 the only good parts about this piece of crap game is the story mode with the town center and weirding woods and that giant night cap boss fight was also pretty cool but other then that the game is trash the multiplayer is garbage the gameplay is trash the AI bots in the multiplayer mode that replace missing players have aim bot and are so stupid the game has no variants like gw1 and gw2 which makes the game repetitive and the events in this game oh boy the events as bad as some of the events where in gw2 this games takes the cake they have the lamest events in the history of events i can’t think of another game that has lamer events then this game one of the examples is rando ops the only difference in that event compared to the original garden ops and graveyard ops modes in the game is instead of you choosing the character the game randomly chooses you the character that’s it that’s basically the event and other lame events too like Satellite takeover which is also pretty lame so curse be upon to the ones who are in the charges of the events in this piece of trash game and some of the characters look really ugly in this crap game like the rose looks really ugly the scientist also doesn’t look right so the art style is also something I don’t like in this game and to be honest what PopCap should’ve did instead is a proper gw3 game that takes everything in gw2 and keeps it and takes what needs improvement and makes it better like better maps better events better graphics a improved backyard more classes more variants ect that’s what they should’ve did but no what instead PopCap did is made something that pvz isn’t suppose to be and that’s trying to be like overwatch clown and be a Esport which is stupid and dumb you can’t make a pvz game into a Esport it’s plants vs zombies PopCap you can’t make a plants vs zombies game popular like overwatch plants vs zombies shooter is suppose to be a game that anyone can pick up and play that’s what it should be why in the world did they think that making a pvz overwatch clown could be a success how delusional can they be? There are theories on why this piece of trash game was made one of those theories is that some people got High and played overwatch and wanted to make a pvz shooter that is a clown of overwatch and because the people who made the gw series didn’t like that idea they left the company and got other people working on this piece of trash game the second theory is that they where making a gw3 but because battlefield 5 failed Ea came to PopCap and said look battlefield 5 failed and we want you guys to cancel making gw3 make something much quicker put micro transactions in it so we can have that money sooner so PopCap said ok let’s cancel making gw3 let’s make a something that would take much less time and remove the variants make the game different in a smaller way and let’s make it 40 dollars because let’s be honest who’s gonna but the game if it’s 60 dollars so that’s theory number 2 theory number 3 that is similar to number 1 and theory is coming from me is that There where jealous of the success of overwatch and and have seen how overwatch got goty made alot of sales and they wanted that they wanted to make a game like overwatch where it’s very popular and possibly win goty since overwatch won goty unfortunately we will probably never find out why this piece of crap game was made but there is a good chance that the reason is that it’s one of those theories I will give the game 3/10 the reason I give the game a 3/10 because like I said the town center and weirding woods and the giant nightcap boss fight was pretty cool but other then that the game is trash and should’ve have not been made.… Expand

    Unlike singleplayer, multiplayer can be quite fun actually. Graphics and gameplay are not bad at all. The game has a troll nature. However, I got it from ps plus. If you wanna buy the game, wait for the discount.

    Plants Vs Zombies Battle For Neighbourvile takes out a lot of things which were loved in the last 2 garden warfare games, such as classes for each plant and zombies. They ruined Garden Ops making it horrible with only 5 stages without bosses. Multiplayer is extremely unbalanced and in my opinion adding sprinting to the game made it worse.

I loved being a lttle pod shooter, hunting down a yeti, fighting a vampire… I loved this campaign.. untili didn’t anymore.. the campaign here feels more like a demo of what could be rather than a full fledged single player campaign, I mean each of the 4 sections main missions can be completed in an hr each.. its really a joke, as after you complete the 5 main quests its really just map cleaning and in game trophy list clearing… but I loved what could be and what should be done in the future.. theres potential with an actual open world dead island rpg like quest system with a dash of some Mario.. there is a great vaiety of character and polish here. So I would love to see the team go all in on something like this, it could be really special… but for what it is now, its repetive boring tower defense stuff once the game exhausts its charm… and then its onto online, capture the flag, team tower defense, hoard mode, and the family friendly version of a call of duty team death match..andfor me personally, the death match is where all of the fun is outside of the first hour of this games campaign,
    youre on team plants or zombies, each chratcer has unique abilities and trates to make no 2 matches the same if you don’t want them to be… and you have even gain experience and level these characters up… but again the charm just evaporates… theres so much character depth here in battle for neighborville, theres so much potential.. theres just no great game to go with the grear mechanics and variety… I say scrap this cod wanna be and become a Mario wanna be.. this 3d world of plants vs zombies has so much potential, and right now its being wasted in the bargain bin… battle for neighborville offers about 4 hours of fun, it has everything in it to be amazing.. but its potential just isn’t fully realized and that breaks my heart.

    it's a very fun game if u have friends but if you don't have it's still fun and I didn't found another game that was like PvZ so it is the best game in that genre.

    After playing about 2 matches for this game, I can tell you that this game is just the biggest cash grab I've ever seen. Upgrades and skins are locked behind a paywall and micro transactions, and there's no new players so every time you spawn in there's going to be one dude who spent about 100$ on the game to get all the skins, upgrades, and the character that (In my opinion) is a littleAfter playing about 2 matches for this game, I can tell you that this game is just the biggest cash grab I've ever seen.     Its worse than Pvz GW2. The graphics are beatiful, but gameplay is weak. They tried to do something like overwatch by removing some great mechanics from the game.

    I think people underestimate this game,it's not bad,a lot of new characters, the same modes.Given the ability to change the coffin that appears after death.But in principle, there is nothing to say about the game the same game as garden warfare or garden warfare 2.

    Este juego es divertido, no es perfecto pero vaya que vale la pena comprarlo, aunque quitaron algunas cosas que me gustaban del PVZ GARDEN WARFARE (por ejemplo las variantes), sigue siendo un buen juego, no te dejes llevar por los comentarios malos, mejor ve como es el juego y tu decides si lo quieres comprar o no, en lo personal te lo recomiendo.

    I bought the founders edition of the game and loved GW1 & 2, however this one has flaws and is very broken.

    I never experience lag in any game, but yet in this game even when in a private session it feels like I have 3000 ping rubberbanding all over the place!     When the game decides to not lag, it has similar gameplay to the original, only with a lot less customization, no variants, lackluster upgrades and every character feels weaker.

    Quality of life improvements include every character having a sprint and reviving is better.
    The game also includes a battlepass system and more microtransactions than previous games

    Most of the enjoyment from this is since I enjoyed the older ones so much and want this to be good so badly :(    … Expand

    I like the gameplay, graphics, character design and not optional purchase of characters in this game, because in the Garden Warfare 2 you seemed to be forced to buy legendary characters. In this game, we got rid of this problem    I love PvZ game series and i love Garden Warfare 2 and it was really fun playing GW2
    But now the BATTLE FOR NEIGHBORVILLE came out and I get more fun playing it
    I like the gameplay, graphics, character design and not optional purchase of characters in this game, because in the Garden Warfare 2 you seemed to be forced to buy legendary characters. In this game, we got rid of this problem because the developers decided to remove the subclasses of the characters and replaced them with upgrades that you can get absolutely free just by playing it.
    Also, sprint was added to the game for all characters, which allows you to quickly move around a huge map.
    4 pve zones were added to the game along which you can run and as for me this is the biggest plus of this game because in the GW2 you just ran around the lobby and completed some strange tasks from plants and zombies    … Expand

    Just missing something what the previous two had. Personally I liked the different ccharacter variants, it gave the game a bit more of an edge. You'd see someone playing well with a certain type of variant and want to try and unlock it to give it a go. It's a shame to be honest they got rid because for me that was one of the best thing about this series.

I do wish more people were playing it, as some modes are empty at certain times, but Team Vanquish population is pretty stable on PC at peak times, so I cant complain too much.     Alright, this is going to be a review that picks apart every flaw of this train wreck of a game, so buckle your seatbelts.

    So let me start off by saying I've sunk hundreds of hours into the previous PvZ GW titles, with that out of the way, let's get onto the review. On the surface, this game seems to be a clear upgrade from the previous two, better graphics, more classes, a revamped    Alright, this is going to be a review that picks apart every flaw of this train wreck of a game, so buckle your seatbelts.

    So let me start off by saying I've sunk hundreds of hours into the previous PvZ GW titles, with that out of the way, let's get onto the review.

    On the surface, this game seems to be a clear upgrade from the previous two, better graphics, more classes, a revamped upgrade system... and that dreamy expectation holds up for about the first 10 seconds after you get into the main game. The only thing I legitimately enjoyed about this new game was the improvement in graphics, which was the reason I am giving this game a 2/10 instead of a flat zero.

    The other mechanics are a complete disaster to say the least, with some of the new classes being unplayable and the ability revamps rendering others useless. The balance at launch was so ####ing bad that I took a break from the game for several months before even attempting to come back to it for round two, desperately wanting a big balance patch to make the zombie side support and utility characters goddamn playable. The balance patch eventually came in the form of a wizard character, which is locked behind either a paywall or several hours of grinding. But this is not the 'fun' type of grind that was required to get the 2 secret characters in the previous in GW2, this is monotonous collection of coins for an absolutely broken character that was a last-minute effort to please the fanbase. You can probably already see how bad the balance is, so let's move on to some other failed promises and problems.

    A lot of people have been talking about the removal of the character variants in a negative tone and I completely agree, the reason being that the variants were some of the best parts about the previous games, and removing them in choice of a poorly fleshed-out point-based system of upgrades was a downright terrible idea. The variants are what made Garden Warfare FUN, and that little boost of enjoyment every time a new character was added to your arsenal was one of the best feelings I've had in a game in basically forever. Another terrible mistake EA and Popcap made was breaking all the characters instead of keeping them where they were, examples being citron and scientist, as well as a slew of others. All these ability and utility changes completely ruined the gameplay with these characters as they are no longer fun to play, it's just repetitive fighting, over and over.

    Another huge mistake that was made during production of this game was the change in multiplayer maps and the lobby/waiting area. I feel like restricting players to fewer game modes and removing fun modifiers and bot-filled matches for practice was a mistake because, once again, it didn't need to be changed. People liked old features and they have changed anyway, for no good reason once again. another point I would like to bring up is the 'Giddy Park' section of the game, which ruins the fun completionist and secret-hunter side of things for me. In the original game (GW2 SPOILERS AHEAD) finding all the gnomes, finding goat and torchwood, finding the secret fish hat and finishing most of the snowglobes were all great experiences, which I feel like are missing in the new game, and while they make an appearance in the PvE aspects of the game, it's just not the same, you're not getting any PvP bonuses or just cool stuff to use in other parts of the game from the wonderful PvE side of the game.

    The last thing I'm gonna talk about is the woefully bad PvP in this game. The maps, while I have not played many of them, all are extremely repetitive and prioritize a much more overwatch type of gameplay, rather than the wacky, chaotic styles of the old games, with interactive elements being everywhere. These maps just are not fun, and the game is sometimes extremely buggy as well.

    I know some people didn't like this game, but come on, there's so much possibility by eliminating the subclasses, now we can have more characters than before and it will be more fun!
    And on my own opinion, this game it's very nice and fun! And this is different than the previous games, that makes it better! Because it's not the same thing over and over

    Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is an amazing next chapter in the series. Its story campaign alone is enough to warrant a buy. It’s not just the graphics, the characters, or the amazing multiplayer that makes it a must buy, it’s the charm that the developers have dialed into this game. Every minute playing feels like you’re on track to discover something ridiculously funny and over the top. Though there are a few key tweaks needed to make the battles spot on, it’s the culmination of other things that make this a great game.
