Oct 16, 2015Once upon a time this was a great game, but with the recent microtransactions addition many casual players will find themselves priced right out of the market. In addition to the potentially hundred of dollars in dlc to complete the game experience this game and it's developers have really lost sight of things.

Oct 16, 2015Gamespot.com asked if Overkill Software anticipated putting microtransactions in the game, Goldfarb bluntly stated, "No. No. God, I hope not. Never. No."
What a deception. -

Oct 16, 2015You do not have the Gage Positive Review Packs. Please purchase it for £4.99. Also we will never ever ever ever micro-transactions ;)
We at Overkill appreciate you continued acceptance of our lies and **** -

Oct 16, 2015I wouldn't mind the microtransactions, if they wouldn't have been released during Crimefest, where we should have been rewarded for our efforts to unlock challenges.
I feel betrayed and lied to. Thanks, Almir. -

Oct 16, 2015Payday 2 was fun, enjoyable and a great game for coop. Now after the newest updates, it's more like a pay2win. Same like CS:GO or TF2. Hopefully they'll revert the updates they did. If not it's a disaster.

Oct 16, 2015Once upon a time, this was a good game. However, we've reached the point where the game costs $130 dollars to buy the base game, plus all the DLCs, and Overkill has the audacity to add microtransactions, going back on a promise where they said they would never include microtransactions.
Congratulations Overkill, you managed to surpass both EA and Ubisoft scumbaggery in the span of a day -
Oct 16, 2015No, just no - Payday 2: This time CS:GO rip off time.
CrimeFest - free items, if you have the steam funds to pay...
Their bad business practises cannot be endorsed, i'm sorry payday - they ruined you... -
Oct 16, 2015If i wanted to play cs:go i would have bought cs:go, don't make false promises and then fill our game with microtransactions that modify gun stats. I can forgive the constant DLC, but this takes the cake, im giving it 0/10 because i feel robed and this is the only way that Overkill will learn from their mistakes

Oct 16, 2015Killing off mods by stealing their content, making 100s of DLC, paid advertisement (Wick, Alesso), and finally lying to the community be giving them micro-transactions instead of the promised "free content for all player". Oh, and they broke the balance, all while copying CS:GO model, by adding said micro-transactions they promised they would never add to the game.

Oct 16, 2015Payday 2 used to be my favorite game until overkill software decided that on their second birthday celebration they were going to add these wonderful things known as micro-transactions and they have officially ruined the game. they promised us free content and we micro-transactions. they said payday 2 would ever have micro-transactions but I guess they lied
-
Oct 16, 2015payday 2 with probably the biggest record of dlc count 27 dlc each selling for 1/3 of the game price
award our crimefest with free content yay !!!
wanna know what the free content is ?
its micro transactions!!!
seriously...... -
Oct 16, 2015Okay don't get me wrong this game is good, but the addition of the micro-transactions is unacceptable. Not only do you have to pay to get these skins, they also increase stats on your guns. Overkill what were you thinking

Oct 16, 2015I have 500 + hours in in Payday 2. This game was once my favorite co-op. Ever since the Crimefest update (10/15/15), to me this game became more of player competition than teamwork.

Oct 16, 2015Overkill has turned it's back on it's player base. A formerly great game has been destroyed by corporate greed which has been growing over the past year. They now focus only on what will make them the most money and care very little for making a good game.

Oct 16, 2015Before the crimefest update i would acutally have recommend it
The game was quite good and was fun to play with friends
But i will not recommend it after they added bloody microtransactions
I've uninstalled it and moved on to other games -

Oct 16, 2015What was supposed to be an alright coop game riddled with DLCs they just decided to add a microtransaction scheme in the game to unlock content that probably shouldn't even exist on the way they released it. I'm not a walking wallet and I'm done spending money on your game.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
