Jun 27, 2022Worldslayer offers what Outriders fans expect from an expansion: more of the familiar in a polished state.
-
Jun 27, 2022Yes, it is just more “Outriders” but it is also a more refined, more balanced, more polished Outriders that really shows the potential this franchise has.
-
Jul 17, 2022Outriders Wordslayer is definitely the expansion that fans of Square Enix's Looter-Shooter have been waiting for. Without ever revolutionizing either the game or the genre, this DLC is extremely generous in content and offers enough new features to encourage players to return to the planet Enoch. People Can Fly refines its title in its own way and spices up a desired nervous and gratifying adventure.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders: Worldslayer refines the overall experience, adding a heap of new content and minor improvements that make it an essential expansion - just don't go in alone unless you're armed for bear.
-
Jun 27, 2022Ask yourself this: did you play Outriders simply for its campaign and then drop it, or did you push yourself through its expeditions, going as far as you could go? For those in the former camp, Worldslayer probably isn’t for you. At least not at full price, anyway. You’ll blast through the campaign in 10 hours or less and then be left twiddling your thumbs. For those enamoured with Outriders‘ unique brand of high-octane combat seeking to max out their characters and optimise their builds, however, Worldslayer should be considered a must-have.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders Worldslayer is more Outriders, and that’s not a bad thing. While the story doesn’t do much, the game as a whole is still one of the most fun third person shooters out there right now, with a feel to the gameplay that is a blast to play. The addition of the Trials of Tarya Gratar end game content is worth every penny, and the new gear, skills, and Apocalypse tiers ensure you’ll want to stick around and grind for a good while.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders Worldslayer is the best version of Outriders. It’s full of satisfying shooting and a loot system that feels focused on fun more than on keeping you playing. Add a really fun endgame mode, and you’ve got plenty of reasons to return.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders Worldslayer takes the formula of the base game and expands it in all directions, giving players a DLC with considerable content value. Some historical defects remain, such as a certain repetition, but fans of the brand will have hours of fun in which to sink their teeth.
-
Jul 4, 2022Outriders Worldslayer is the expansion we all expected. It does not upset the cards on the table, it adds a bunch of campaign hours, an important amount of new loot and even a deeper lore and rpg section.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders Worldslayer is not a groundbreaking expansion and lacks the ability to appeal to all those players who didn't enjoy the game last year. Flying over the negligible campaign both in terms of quality and longevity, however, the first paid DLC of the People Can Fly looter shooter introduces an endgame mode able to entertain all those users who have loved madly the game and they want to go back to Enoch at all costs to improve their character traits and create crazy builds.
-
Jun 27, 2022Outriders: Worldslayer provides an exceedingly brief albeit intense story campaign, though its meat is clearly in the vastly improved endgame experience. The Trial of Tarya Gratar, the Apocalypse gear, and Ascension and PAX systems all contribute to a better, deeper endgame. Ultimately, though, the game plays exactly the same as the original Outriders and is unlikely to win over any new fans.

Jul 18, 2022Outriders: Worldslayer brings a solid new direction in what the endgame should look like for People Can Fly's latest IP. It features a much more refined gameplay loop along with dozens of new loot to chase. Hardcore players should be happy, except for the awkward limitations linked to the city-mode of Tarya Gratar.
