This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Awesome just awesome. I haven't written a review for a game before but after finishing this game, I had to do it. Just going to keep it short though.

The soundtrack is amazing. It creates perfect atmospheres for the different locations and situations that you find yourself in the game.

The gameplay is awesome. This game has some of the best physics in any game. Flying around and exploring a fully working solar system is crazy. There's this sense of urgency in almost every planet. It feels like you have to be fast or you might get crushed by sand or maybe fall into a black hole after the crust of the planet crumbles down.

The story is great. First I thought it was rather boring but after i discovered more and more in the solar system i started to really enjoy the story and the mysteries of the game. The final trip you make from the Ash twin project to the vessel is nothing but epic. After learning everything you can and gathering all the knowledge, you make the epic final journey. It also feels like there's actual stakes at play because after taking out the warp drive, the loop technically ends. And if you die, it's all over.

    Truly awesome game.

The gameplay is so fresh, unexpected, and the time spent on the game is really rewarding.
To me that's a classic on that aspect, but when it comes to graphics, it's not its strenght even if that's pretty decent.
The lore is pretty well written and get really emphasized with the gameplay, you can tell after playing it that the developpers have really put time into making the whole thing coherent.

An amazing space exploration adventure. Uncover the lore of an ancient alien race to solve puzzles and mysterious to this beautiful solar system. Completely open world with no hand holding. This is simply one of the best games of all time.

Outer Wilds is simply a game I didn't enjoy to the same extent as everyone else. I wasn't gripped by the mystery. Many of the mechanics felt messy to me. The 22 minute timer was nothing but annoying to me. In terms of music, the soundtrack has chosen a rustic style, and the calm and tranquil melody complements the mystery and vastness of the universe, giving the game a quiet and romantic core under the grand appearance.
This game is an excellent way to show the immersive experience of "human fear comes from the unknown", and players will continue to explore under the drive of curiosity. At the same time, there is no lack of scientific combination and fantasy of the universe, which greatly stimulates Interest in play.
Everyone comes to the world with fear and curiosity about the unknown, and does not know what the world will be like after death. However, this game is allowing players to experience countless cycles of life and death. The final ending is not to avoid death, but to allow players to see the rebirth of the universe, the beginning of a new story in the new universe, so that players can go from being unwilling to death to accepting and looking forward to the new At the beginning of the game, the theme of the game is carried out with optimistic thinking about the meaning of life, which makes people feel a sense of sudden enlightenment.
I think this is the best science fiction game in history. God made.
It is not only a perfect combination of game mechanics and storytelling, it also establishes the standard for science fiction exploration and decryption games.
It is excellent because it is a mixture of quantum theory, time traversal, stars and seas, and foreign exploration, and it achieves logical self-consistent in both the plot and setting levels?
    Nope.
Because of romance, the final and ultimate romance that only science fiction can present.

The Idea of someone not getting this game because of one of the bad reviews feels like a stab in the gut. It's my favourite game, however, there are a few things to note.

    1. USE A CONTROLLER! The game was made for a controller and does not work without one. 2. The game has a SLOW START. it takes a little while to get going but once you do there is no stopping. 3. If you get stuck

    1. USE A CONTROLLER! The game was made for a controller and does not work without one.

    2. The game has a SLOW START. it takes a little while to get going but once you do there is no stopping.

    3. If you get stuck USE THE SHIP LOG. In watching 3 people play through outer wilds the biggest mistake I see is people not using the ship logs rumor mode.

    4. DON'T LOOK ANYTHING UP. Ok, maybe a puzzle solution here or there but having the ending or any other plot points spoiled without the context of playing the rest of the game removes all of their impact.

Nextly, I would like to address a few null complaints that baffle me as to how they were conceived. Many people complain about there being no saves but there is nothing to save. I really don't understand this one. There is no inventory, no level system, or anything. The only thing that needs to be saved is the info you gather, and what do you know, it is! Another one of the complaints is for the physics. I don't need to go into how every planets orbit is dynamically rendered to get the point across that the physics are well thought out. The final 2 common complains I already mostly covered however I will restate them. If you are complaining about controls, then you are using mouse and keyboard instead of the intended way of playing with controller. If you think the game is slow or you feel lost, get past early game and use the ship logs rumor mode. Thank you and goodbye

This game revived space exploration as a concept for me. The story you uncover has plot twists and all that despite it not being a linear sort of progression like traditional story telling. Everyone will have a different experience as well with the story. It was annoying waiting for the the ash twin to loose sand each time though.

What a masterpiece, literally made me change my point of view about life and outer space, I used to feel sad about life, knowing that in one moment, everything will be gone, but this game showed me that life is not only about waiting for it to end, it's about the beautiful moments and who you share them with. While the graphics "quality" won't knock your socks off, there are numerous visual spectacles that will blow you away. There are no upgrades, power-ups, or levels. All you have is your ship, your character, and the knowledge you gain along the way about the worlds around you and the secrets that make them tick. It's little secret that you play within a brief time loop. So not only are you finding out what info you can, piecing together this info as you go, but you have something to motivate you to do so with expediency. In addition it means you don't have to concern yourself with any sort of survival mechanics that would otherwise bog down the experience (they simply don't exist in the game). The only downside is that you can only play the game for the first time once as upon learning what you need to know to succeed, you can (and must) beat the game within one time loop.

"If you could wipe your brain of a game to experience it for the first time again, what game would you say?" Outer Wilds is the first thing to come to my mind every single time.

Outer Wilds is rife with breathtaking sights and sounds, and at the very least, no one could accuse it of being unambitious. Mobius Digital may be a small team but, almost paradoxically, they achieve a remarkable sense of scope by keeping things modest. However, their work suffers from the glacial pace of progress and a hands-off approach to storytelling. My biggest issues – a lack of combat, direction, or material rewards – are obviously deliberate, bold choices on the part of the devs, and I commend Mobius for them while also chiding the cold, inscrutable product that resulted. I admire Outer Wilds, but I don’t love it.
