    Rare masterpiece with soul and probably the best platformer Ive ever played. Its hard to find any flaws in this game. Story, visuals, music, controls, gameplay - everything is top notch. Even if you hate platformers you probably should try Ori and the Blind Forest, its that good.

    This game is a real proof that games can be an ART !! A true masterpiece in every way. Music, artwork, level design, story, fun and replay-ability... simply everythink. I've just finished this game 6th time and still brings me a goosebumps. A TRUE MASTERPIECE ... Bravoooo Moon studios ....11/10

    Wow, this is seriously the most beautiful game I've ever played. After the opening cinematic, I didn't realize the game had started for 30 seconds. Mostly, because I had never seen a game that artistic and gorgeous and though the cinematic was still going. It just shows what is possible when you get great artists and an original idea and producers that allow you to try an artistic vision.Wow, this is seriously the most beautiful game I've ever played.     My deduction of points for the game is for how hard it is. You guys think Dark Souls is hard. Child's play. I think I've died nearly a 1000 times by now. Now I know this is a fantasy world but let's imagine it's a real world and adventure. I mean if we can imagine the game, why can we not imagine the critique? If this little dude went on an adventure to save the tree/forest he'd be dead in 100 steps lol I mean did it really need to be to this level of difficult? I'm usually a very calm gamer but one section had me so frustrated that I thought I was going to spirit flame my cat with my controller. Otherwise, a really brilliant piece of work here.    … Expand

    There are times when this Ori blows your mind with emotions, music, graphics, and action sequences, often all at the same time. That is so rarely experienced in a game. Its got its challenging parts which force you to master all the skills at Ori's disposal, which can be quite exhilarating, and is reminiscent of the days when games could be super frustrating.     The story is wonderful and well told. Even though not much is been said, do the cut sceens (Which you from time to time control) make you shead a tear or downright cry The games difficulty is medium/hard wise and place it in a nice spot where it is not too hard or too easy. The combat can i see it not the prime focus/ it is lacking a little. But nice story and good    Worth evey penny.

    The atmosphere is one of the best i've seen in years and made me enjoy each second in this game. Hand drawn art from the largest to the smallest detail.

    The music was the best part. Get a nice pair of headphones and let yourself drown in a ocean of symphonic master pieces.

    I do not know how they manage to sell it only at 20 Euro, i would gladly had paid 30-40. The game itself feel so well made and i hope to see more from Moonstudio.    … Expand

    I always wanted to play Ori, this pushed me over the edge.. Got it for $11.. i feel like i cheated you guys out of some money, i'll be buying this on day one. Unlike most games i get lost in this one, 11 hours went by without me even thinking about it, i got lost in the beautifully painted world with the beautifully orchestrated music. It has so many different elements of my favoriteI always wanted to play Ori, this pushed me over the edge..     Perfection is something nonexistent in gaming, but this game is as close as you can get to it.
    The art is simply amazing, colorful and just beautiful.
    The story is great, a little bit sad in the prologue. The music... oh the music, I've been getting constant eargasms throughout the whole playthrough.     This Ghibli'esque platformer is the most beautiful video game I have ever seen and I've seen a lot. Once you get past pacing problems of the beginning and reach some of the more interesting platforming, the game starts to really shine. For all those who enjoyed Rayman series this is a must play, even with its Metroidvania elements it managed to appeal to me, a person who didn't like anyThis Ghibli'esque platformer is the most beautiful video game I have ever seen and I've seen a lot.     L'univers bénéficie d'un level design de toute beauté mêlant magie et poésie , un tableau de maitre se dévoile peu à peu sous vos yeux ébahis. Une jouabilité quasi parfaite: la pris en main est simple le jeu se complexifiant de lui-même au fur et à mesure qu'Ori découvre de nouveaux    Ori and the Blind Forest est un jeu de plateforme et d'agilité que nintendo n'aurait pas renié:

    Ori is simply the most beautiful game I've ever played! The game is pure beauty! It has one the most elaborate and brilliant epilogues ever! During the epilogue I though as if I were watching a Full HD Animated Movie (Disney of course, lol!). Ori and Glein reminds me of "Aurora and Igniculus"! But it's not an imitation at all, it's a beautiful inspiration! The Epilogue itself made me cry.Ori is simply the most beautiful game I've ever played! The game is pure beauty!     I know it's a long shot that the developers will read this, but I want to thank you for making this game. My interest/faith in games has started this wane, but then this game came along. Beautiful music, graphics, story, and the gameplay I grew up with. I hope more will be made from this studio because there is a lot of love put in this game.

    This game is frighteningly perfect. Throughout my first play through which took a little more than 9 hours there wasn't a single moment, a single situation where I could think of any changes that would improve the game even in the slightest. The gameplay is very focused, accessible yet challenging at all the right moments. The story is both tragic and endearing. The visuals are stunning.This game is frighteningly perfect.     Absolutely amazing. This game is challenging, beautiful, and rewarding. It takes many aspects from other games but manages to make them all unique and fun. I highly recommend this game. Very few games these days have made me sad to know that they have to end eventually.

    Last time i played platformer was years ago because i'm not a big fan of this genre,but boy was i surprised after start button:-) I failed trying to find flaws in this game. Except maybe difficulty,everything is a masterpiece,from the beginning until the very end.

It combines the elements of all the great platforms released (the animation and puzzles of Limbo, the percise controls of Super Meat Boy, the colors and RPG elements of Child of Light) all placed in a beautifull open world map, plus adequate length and ideal level of difficultyThe joy of being a gamer. This is the best platform/adventure -and one of my top 10- game i have ever played. It combines the elements of all the great platforms released (the animation and puzzles of Limbo, the percise controls of Super Meat Boy, the colors and RPG elements of Child of Light) all placed in a beautifull open world map, plus adequate length and ideal level of difficulty (difficult but not frustrating).     Absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is amazing. The gameplay is fluent and very satisfying. The gameplay is intense at points and it really draws you in and gets you completely immersed. I got the game with high expectations, and those expectations were more than met!
    The characters are lovable, even though there is hardly any dialogue.

Fuse of Hayao Miyazaki Princess Mononoke and Boishock Infinite in terms of plot, and look alike of Super Meat Boy of gameplay (not so hard though, but still quite hard). Amazing graphics. Reccomended for anyone who enjoy twisted plot with many questions but very few answers and 2d platformer games. Probably one of the best if not the best platformersThis is genus. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fluid even if the learning curve is a bit steep, and the story is overwhelmingly emotional. Easily one of the best stories in a game in recent memory. It's beautiful in its simplicity and the 180 it does to you at the end by making you sympathetic to the antagonist was heart-wrenching.… Expand

    Best platformer to date. Beautifull animations. Fluid controls. Great puzzles although at times chalenging. Good pacing with a great deal of veriety. A must get.

    Pros: -the game looks gorgeous. it looks like you steeped into a fairy tale.     Sometimes if you want to feel like life is going down, deeper than any ocean on planet Earth and you feel so sick of all and betrayed by all your friends...play this game, awesome magical visuals that are stunning you into eyes so freaking much and you will never be embarassed by this game, liberation from boredom :) Great soundtrack, everything works perfectly, short loading times,Sometimes if you want to feel like life is going down, deeper than any ocean on planet Earth and you feel so sick of all and betrayed by all your friends...play this game, awesome magical visuals that are stunning you into eyes so freaking much and you will never be embarassed by this game, liberation from boredom :) Great soundtrack, everything works perfectly, short loading times, awesome title that can put into pocket some "great" games nowadays...10/10… Expand

    Playing Ori and the Blind Forest is akin to having a piano lesson — it is fun only when you press exactly the right keys. Get off the mark for just a split second, and the entrancing melody is gone, the tempo is ruined, and all you can hear is the sound of your fingers frantically tapping the keys.

    At first, Ori looks like a very easy game. But that’s a deception: the further you go into the forest, the louder cracking of your thumbs will become. Our condolences go to anyone who will try to beat Ori on keyboard+mouse combo instead of gamepad. [May 2015, p.71]

    If you’d asked me back in the Super Nintendo days what video games would look like in the future, I imagine that I might have pictured something just like [Ori]. That is to say, something with the visual resonance of a masterfully animated film.
