It should be noted right away that I am not fed up with this genre of games. I think this played a big role in the evaluation of this game.

A huge improvement from Pirate Warriors 3 in my opinion. Gameplay is so much smoother and the change of scenery every other moment is great. I am also glad they didn't start from the way beginning again . My biggest complaint would have to be the camera angles though. I found myself constantly having to move around just to see what my character was doing.

The gameplay was very fun and addicting at times. There's so many characters that have unique abilities and upgrades. Story was great.

Was excited to play this Game once i found out it'll be coming out this Year.

Gameplay and Fighting is way smoother than PW3 was. Animations and Characters are done very well. But some things Bug me alot: - AI Allied NPC's seem to love kicking your Target away once you try launching a Skill on it. - Alot Content/Arc's have been skipped such as ALL Arcs before Alabasta, All Arcs

But some things Bug me alot:

    - AI Allied NPC's seem to love kicking your Target away once you try launching a Skill on it.
    - Alot Content/Arc's have been skipped such as ALL Arcs before Alabasta, All Arcs after Alabasta up to Water 7, Thriller Bark, Amazon Lilly, Impel Down, Fish-Man Island, Punk Hazard, Zou, Levely
    - The Wano Kuni Arc is some filler-like stupid fanmade looking crap
    - Lots of Characters are not playable although they're in the Game - have Animations & Skill but only work as "Support Units" (hopefully added later into the Game)
    - Playable Characters are not as much as i hoped, i assume there will be more but as (overpriced) DLC's
    - Deluxe Edition Content is nowhere near to be called worth it (do not waste your money for it)
    - Character Upgrade System is not very good, you'll have to farm lots of the same Missions in Order to progress your favorite Characters. Spare Coins are converted into Berry but you cannot buy Coins with the Loads of Berry you obtain.
    - Just like in every PW Game the Characters have insanely OP ones and really garbage Characters. Atleast 50% of the Character Selection is below average and nowhere close to be useful/fun.

Apart from that the Game is very fun and im kinda addicted to it.
If you can live with the negative stuff i listed above, the Game will offer you lots of Fun.

I will keep on Updating this Review if the Game changes or balancing/updates happen.

Edit: After about 30 hours you have seen the whole Game, trust me.
I spend more time listening the characters the scripted talking with each other, than fighting. After doing the whole Story on S Rank & S Rank on ALL Missions on ALL of the 3 Logs (East Blue, Grandline & New World) + EVERY Crew you can currently obtain to Crew Level 5 - then you're about to end your life.

The Game get's stretched for more wasted time in every other Mission. I usually spend about 1-2 minutes waiting for the characters to finally finish their chitchat to get my mission completed and get the next one...

Great game!!!! it worked very well on gameplay issues, like combining more variable characters with the addition of aerial combos and a skill palette located in the middle on the right side of the screen. Negative points are the cameras that usually disorient the player, for example, the camera that enters the buildings and takes away the view of the player's character. this game is terrible to be a pirate warriors for various reasons that I will mention below

sanji and Usopp bow this is bad because
These are the most important bows for the plot of one piece and not only do they do it here, they also do it again with the bows of the fishmen, the one of enel, the one of Impel Down and the one of Thriller Bark
then they also removed the tripe attacks from the one piece pirate warrios 3 so if you wanted to do a triple attack then you will not be able to and this is more hypocritical when you see that in several cinematics several characters if they use the double and triple attacks, they also removed characters playable as garp, perona, pacifist, Alvida among others and also removed the map of missions where you could conquer islands and also also removed the comfortable option to select free mode in story mode by putting that option in the main menu making everything much more Tedious and finally there are the secondary missions which are not funny to pass them because the vast majority will always face the same few characters in the story mode, the characters that do not appear in cinematic summary, that if you expected to see Oars or Gecko Moria or even Magellan even if it is here because you will not be able to because those arches were skipped. in short, one piece pirate warriors 4 is a bad game, lacking content, with mechanics that were there before but not now and with modes that were before but now ultimately a game that doesn't reach the heels of one piece pirate warrios 3

One Piece World Seeker is better then Pirate Warriors 4. With world Seeker we had beautiful graphics, good new story and very fun gameplay and exploration. This is just a mindless button mashing game. And most assets are reused from prior games. It got very repetitive after playing for few hours. I highly recommend getting World Seeker instead of this game.

    Review after 10h of gameplay:
The PC port of this console game is poorly done. The game often starts in windowed mode. There are no options at all, such as graphics settings or similar. There is not even a way to exit the game other than Alt+F4 or closing the window with the mouse.
The gameplay is mostly focused on mass battles and boss fights. This is quite fun. You can play many different characters and level them up.
The graphics are quite poor (about 3 generations behind), such minimalism is unfortunately typical of Bandai Namco. Another example of minimalism: when the crew talk to "Iceberg", Bandai Namco only shows a picture of him, because it was too much work for them to animate him for the cutscene. Pretty Shameful.
The story is told succinctly and crisply (relatively superficially) in cutscenes. You start from the very beginning at Arc 1 and fight your way forward. However, many parts of the story are ignored/skimmed over or only briefly summarized in a text. As a second mode you can explore these missions again in 'free mode' and as a third mode there are additional missions, all just following the exact same pattern.
After the fights you don't have the feeling to have won anything at all, because the following animated sequence almost always shows how you lost anyway. E.g. you defeat CP9 with Lysopp, then the next sequence shows how CP9 defeated Lysopp. Okay? This happens very often.
I would only recommend the game if you can get it at a cheap price.

    Buen PIrate Warriors

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 blends the musou gameplay of the Warriors games well with the world of One Piece. I do wish there was more of the story to offer fans of the series, but the game feels nice to play.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, then, is not only the best Pirate Warriors game to date - as you would expect - but maybe, just maybe, the best Musou game available at the moment. Despite the reused story assets that may cheapen the experienced for seasoned Pirate Warriors vets, Omega Force once again prove they are the kings of their craft with this glorious, delicious slice into anime mayhem. Sit down, Hyrule Warriors. You aren’t the pinnacle anymore.

The eccentric enemies match the exaggerated abilities of our heroes, and combined with the vibrant anime style visuals, make One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 a fun experience... even if there is distinct lack of talking parrots, plank walking and shivering of timbers.
