Jul 24, 2021An awesome, surreal experience with a unique art-style and an incredible OST. OMORI is an underrated game which undeniably deserves more attention. It captures the themes of anxiety and depression well with a gripping storyline and painful truth that delivers a powerful adventure.

Jul 17, 2021An amazing game with amazing music, sure the gameplay can get a tad repetitive but that's most rpgs. I have next to no complaints
-
Jul 6, 2021Extremely powerful story rich game that almost made me tear up. You'll have to play it yourself in order to see the story. I played it blind, best experience of my life, other than the severe depression I got.
Also Aubrey is the best character. -
Jul 6, 2021This game in my opinion is a masterpiece, the best game I played this year, and one of the best I ever played in my life. Although its gameplay can get annoying, but hey that's the RPG aspect of things, its story is SO well made and amazingly told. Even after 2 months of playing it, it's still stuck in my head, and I keep on recommending it to people I know.

May 22, 2021Just trust me and go into this blind.
To those who are hesitant due to the horror elements: It's not a traditionally scary game. Don't pass on this just because you're put off by horror -
May 21, 2021Fantastic game. I can’t talk about it too much because spoilers...so just play the darn game. Made me happy, sad, and scared, like no other game.

May 11, 2021The game has a great story, captivating characters and good original songs. Also, this is one of the beautiful examples of when a game uses the maximum potential of its engine. And that's the problem, RPG Maker has huge limitations. So the gameplay can be mediocre and boring sometimes. I recommend the game and would play again, but it has its counterpoints.

May 1, 2021Amazing. Really great for an RPG maker game! The art, music, and tone all work in tandem to create an unforgettable experience. 9/10 would recommend. Don't get the ending spoiled though.

Apr 27, 2021As one of those who waited for almost 7 years, I should say that this game was worth the wait. It has both the finesse in its soundtrack and narrative. I have left with no words to describe how great this game is. It's a game everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Consequently, Omori is a gem that deserves a recognition on par with Earthbound and Undertale.

Apr 16, 2021Quite a boring game IMO. I don't know why this game is so highly rated. I'm the kind of person who loves games like Witcher 3 and Skyrim so maybe that's why games like OMORI are not my cup of tea.

Apr 10, 2021This game is a true masterpiece, everything on it is beautiful... the art, the music, the history, the characters, an so on; I've never been so emotionally devastated in my life than at the end of this game. Clearly, not everyone would like it so much, but if you can play, just do it, probably will be a great experience, maybe even the best in a videogame.

Apr 9, 2021This is the best RPG I have ever played. The storyline is absolutely amazing, the characters are three-dimensional and very likeable, and the ending is mind-blowing. Play it.

Mar 29, 2021This game was very fun and this was worth the wait. I recommend people that like rpgs and played Undertale or Earthbound to play this game, it is very cool.

Mar 24, 2021the Best Storytelling RPG maker Game with Really good Game-Play + The ost is the cherry on top, 10/10
-
Mar 23, 2021This game does an outstanding job of teaching the player what it feels like to be depressed, anxious, and bored to death. If that's not your cup of tea, STAY AWAY!

Mar 16, 2021An absolutely brilliant game that talks about mental health. The artwork, the music, and the battle mechanics show just how much love is put into this game. If anyone would like to experience the intricacies of what's going inside someone's head I would definitely recommend this game!

Feb 26, 2021Just play the game.
In my opinion, one of the best games i ever played.
Especially the storytelling, such a heartwarming story.
I felt embraced, laughed many times and cried much tears.
Im in love with OMORI... -
Feb 13, 2021Wonderful music, environments, exploration, characters, fun combat and a well paced story that has horror elements tied perfectly into the otherwise whimsical tone of the game. Not to mention the sheer volume of stuff this game has in it. Even after my 35 hour playthrough there was a lot that I did not see. Absolutely worth the low price tag.

Apr 1, 2026While I have been lucky enough to not lose a loved one to tragedy, Omori still managed to make me feel the despair of losing someone cherished, and the powerless feeling of being able to do nothing to bring them back was replicated perfectly. The game tackles the idea of acceptance and escapism beautifully, and when the credits rolled, I did not move for a while. It is one of those persistent games that follows players even after putting the controller down. I think about it more than I expected to; it creeps in at night before I sleep, and whenever I come across a screenshot or hear the name, something in me just recalls the weight of it immediately. People process loss in completely different ways and at completely different speeds, and Omori never pretends otherwise. What makes it so remarkable is that it does not ask players to have lived through something specific to feel it. It just asks for attention. And with attention, Omori will find something in players to pull on regardless of what their lives look like.

Mar 7, 2021Omori is certainly not for everyone. Someone who values gameplay much higher than storytelling will come away feeling bored and frustrated with the overall experience. However, those who value a game's plot and the emotions that games can elicit will never be able to shake Omori from their headspace. It is a flawed game in many aspects, but I can't help thinking about it throughout my daily life (especially while opening up the spice cabinet), even having finished the game over a month ago. While the entire middle of the game can be frustrating due to its poor design, the third act is well worth everything that comes before it. In the end, everything else faded away, and it all felt worth it.

Jan 27, 2021Having played through OMORI, I’m confident say that it’s an experience I won’t forget. This is a game I wholeheartedly recommend for those that appreciate a good story. With a strong emphasis on catharsis, it has a lot up its sleeves. The cutesy and colorful presentation hides a grim reality and it hits hard. Highly recommended, OMORI is a gem of a game that definitely deserves recognition.
