    Those seeking a short, relaxing adventure will find that Omno has just the right mix, including a vibrant world filled with creatures, calming music, basic puzzles, and easy-going platforming.

    Omno is an enjoyable and visually beautiful experience. While there are some elements of the gameplay that feel lacking and where you’ll feel like you’re taking a backseat, it accomplishes what it sets out to do with its relaxed approach to puzzles and exploration. It will give you an atmospheric adventure to immerse yourself in for a few hours, and maybe as a bonus, leave you with a nice warm fuzzy feeling. And sometimes, that’s just what you’re looking for.

    Simple, intriguing and fresh, Omno is a good indie game, pretty short, rich with colors and diversity, a light and airy environment that let you explore its world. Very pleasant.

    At first, Jonas Manke, with Omno, takes a seductive initiatory journey that we love to discover. Exploring this colorful universe offering pretty panoramas and inhabited by curious animals is a pleasure at all times, especially if our hero has all the possible improvements. But at first, the player must necessarily deal with a more capricious gameplay, with strange inertia, and face a formula that is struggling to renew itself.

    Omno is a relaxing game. The story is mysterious but very simple. You start with very basic powers and get more has you go. The later levelOmno is a relaxing game. The later level required a lot of precision and that made me wonder if children would be able to do those parts. Flying/floating kind of lacks precision. The music is great. The graphics are simple cell shaded but really nice to look at. The game is short maybe 5-6 hours. I give it 75%. It's a good non violent game, more for children.     Omno doesn't introduce anything new to the table for adventure games, and it is very short and could be finished in a single play session. The trailers and screenshots make the game look a lot more appealing than it actually is. The game tries to convince you to take in the sights, but you don't feel compelled to do so.

    The game does not require you to fully complete each area in order to progress, which is nice for casual players.

    As an indie, this game was a decent proof of concept, but there really isn't much going on at all. More story could've made the game more interesting, but as it is, the lack of depth makes the world a bit drab. I give this game a 6+1, where the bonus is because the entire game was made by one single person, which warrants respect.    … Full Review »
