    Simplicity is the biggest strength of Old Man’s Journey. It doesn’t require you to be a genius or a master gamer, but to have a penchant for something more oft-kilter. That it manages to be a satisfying experience all without saying a single word is remarkable and definitely worth a look.

    In the brief time it takes to complete it, Old Man’s Journey plays out the calm yet deliberate journey of an aging man, set to right the wrongs of his youth. Here is a title that shines a positive philosophy onto a player’s path, reminding us that not everything about life must be hard and complicated. The Old Man’s Journey made me cry, but it also left me with a smile.

    Old Man’s Journey is a game with all of these prickles of delight but where the interstitial matter often feels humdrum. It’s short enough that you can still pick those delights out even if you’re not satisfied with the rest of the interactions, but you can’t help but wonder, what if it had found a way to make the whole thing shine?

    It’s never especially challenging. At no point did I find myself stuck on any given puzzle for more than a minute or two. But the interactions are playful and charming, and their tactile nature makes an otherwise simple experience feel much more engaging and meaningful.

    This is one of the worst games I've ever player.
    Bad story: I've read some people saying the story is touching? So a story about an egoist    This is one of the worst games I've ever player.
    Bad story: I've read some people saying the story is touching? So a story about an egoist person that abandon the wife with a little kid is now touching. I wanted the old man to suffer. The message of this game is SO WRONG.
    Gameplay: Inconsistent mechanic. It is easy in a bad way. It is easy because it is not well designed.
    Sound: A four time short melody that repeats again, again, again, again, again. It is not even well composed.

Загадки тут скорее 1-2 штуки разновидности, двигать холмики, и тем самым идя дальше, методичный геймплей, кому то может не зайдет, но кому то зайдет, все мы разные. Я скорее отношусь где то по середине, мне игра очень понравилась, рисовкой, в конце я понял наконец куда мы пришли, и последствия, немного стало грустно, музыка прям подходит к рисовке. Ну как и принято в жанре поинт клик, важными чертами рисовкой и муз. сопровождением игра справилась, загадок бы, но все таки думаю правильно разработчики все сделали.… Full Review »
