I agree with some of the comments before, however the AI and controls are much improved over last year and the only thing that really got on my nerves other than the annoying invasive music, is the GUI interface. I don't understand why they don't just include a Windows based player/league/team editor. Consider it IS running on a PC, the possibilities would be endless. Also they still haven't included the music importer that worked for 03-04 and was super. Hopefully they'll make it available as a free download real soon. Expand

Ok people keep whinging about this being so much like 06 that they forget that 06 was a great game in the first place. This game seems to add more than people give it credit for. However the changes are subtle apart from the skill stick. For example, the physics have been improved drastically esp on the puck to give a more realistic experience. This version maintains the high standards Ok people keep whinging about this being so much like 06 that they forget that 06 was a great game in the first place. This version maintains the high standards set in the original so If you're vaguely into Ice Hockey, or can appreciate the finer points of a computer game without just nit picking this is the game for you. P.S. Oh and if you're finding shots going in from anywhere try turning the difficulty up rather than complaining. Expand

The controls are tight, especially shooting, if you have a USB control pad. Ditch the keyboard. We would like to see the checking system tweaked a bit so players aren't so magnetic. Great puck physics make for exciting, organic goal scoring.
  2. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the versions of NHL 07 not made for the next generation of consoles offer little in the way of new content.
  3. While we aren’t impressed with the changes (or lack thereof), with the price reduced to $29.99, current-gen gamers are still getting a great game, and for half the price of the 360 version.
