There are a lot of things that are packed into this long game, but they are done very well and are able to work in tandem with one another smoothly. This game is truly unique and would be worthwhile to buy to experience how this sticker bomb of a game manages to keep its punk aesthetic and be a game that is difficult to describe but not hard to recommend in any capacity.

NEO: The World Ends with You is an absolute blast to play, allowing me to relive a part of my childhood, with its head-bopping soundtrack, flashy and vibrant combat, and an excellent narrative that ties in with remnants of the first game.

The World Ends With You on PC is a bare-bones conversion, but one that runs great. This is easily the definitive version of one of Square Enix's best games in years.

NEO: The World Ends With You lacks everything you would expect from a PC port, such as mouse support or useful graphics options. While the game itself is incredible, unless you desperately need the maximum resolution and framerate you’re better off sticking with the console versions.

    Pros:
    Great Visual Style.
God-Tier soundtrack. Fun and fast-paced combat system. Great story with plenty of twists and turns. Cons:

    God-Tier soundtrack.
    Fun and fast-paced combat system.
Great story with plenty of twists and turns.

    Cons:
Gameplay becomes a little repetitive by the end.
Gameplay feels a little unbalanced, difficulty has two major spikes near the end.
Has a 'time travel' mechanic while nice in concept ends up creating a little too much padding.
Story can drag on, especially near the end.
Pacing suffers, feels a little too padded out, especially near the end.

    Bottom line:

If you're a fan of the original, you'll love it. It's not perfect and has some padding and pacing issues. It also has two major difficulty spikes that don't feel as balanced as the first game. The graphics, music, and combat do make up for most of the issues and the plot is one that is very well told and keeps you guessing.
