AI currently is atrociously bad. I am not sure if this because it is difficult get AI work in this type of game or what, but currently it almost ruined the campaign and and operations mode for me.

The biggest promise of this game is in multiplayer, but options are limited for that. A multiplayer operations mode could be huge fora game like this.

There are many questionable gameplay decisions. Like why are there so many debuff and buff abilities? Abilities that merely change the numbers are not really exciting as opposed to new cool abilities with their own unique animations. Also, game forcibly teleporting characters to 'safe zones' seems like a workaround around a technical problem, rather than something that should make gameplay better.

Saboteur and lay-mechanic classes are not as exciting as the other three fighter classes.

This could become a great game with more content, multiplayer operations mode, and some more work on the gameplay side of things.

There aren't many good Warhammer games, but this could have been one of them with more time in the oven. In the end, it falls short in most areas and just becomes yet another average Warhammer game.

One of the biggest issues with the game is the performance, whilst it ran at a high frame rate, it was plagued by constant stuttering, this is a game issue and is well documented, it is caused by enemies spawning into the map, which happens all the time. It completely ruined the feel of the game.

Other issues include very poor AI, limited enemy types, poor visibility (enemies blend into the map far too much), lack of weapons, lack of currency during the campaign so you can't upgrade yourself, dog or weapons even halfway by the end of the game, endlessly spawning enemies, both the male and female voice actors weren't great, the story was fragmented into 12 missions, it didn't feel cohesive.

Gameplay-wise it was OK, even bordering on fun at times, once you get a few extra tools like the grappling hook the gunplay is actually decent and it was one of the highlights of the game, just don't expect Doom level combat, which the game tries hard to emulate, but never manages to get close.

Overall it's an OK shooter, with a weak story, and quite a few bugs and performance issues. I would personally wait until it's patched before buying it.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is potentially a splendidly entertaining tactical game with lot of depth and atmosphere but, at the moment, it is marred by a plethora of technical issues that make it a chore to play.

Building off of the XCOM style of strategy, you get to decide how you move and act or react as you’re fighting it out. While the strategy can be fun, it’s all a bit sluggish, and that can make each fight feel as though it takes an eternity. On top of that, it’s visually just a bit early 2000s, with the colour brown seemingly being the inspiration for everything. It’s not a bad game, but it’s not a good one really either.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars works and that's just about all that it does. The frustrating lack of color and speed does not do it any favors.
