    Everything is locked behind an online unnecessary wall to make it more of a grind.

    The fighting might be fun but no one has time to seat there and grind that much unless this is your only game left to play in the world.

    Most of the "professional" reviews are OMITTING the online only stuff from the review...very "honest" on their part.

    This is a disgrace for a Mortal Kombat game, always online micro transaction hell with terrible voice acting, character designs are ugly to look at and has social justice nonsense.

    Also, forcing your personal political agenda has no place in a MK game or in any game for that matter. Some tower endings are just the wet dreams of SJWs.     Made an account just to write this review. Terrible PC experience by NRS, no beta, delayed release, blatant lies such as no delays, no loot boxes or predatory ministrations , and no unplayable a story characters.

    Absolute garbage, pay2win, a total waste of money. Why?
    1. Predatory monetization: Extremely grindy in an unfair way designed to make you spend real money.
    2. Missing fan favorite characters like Smoke, Reptile, Mileena etc.
    3. SJW/Feminist/Political agenda forced into the game.

    Sweety game. Love new gameplay mechanics, variations system, custom but grind (ization) .10 cause a lot of cancer haters

    I'm leaving a bad review only based on the attitude that NRS and WB gave to the PC players.
    First, they announced that the game will be available at the same time as all other platforms, but then we, PC gamers and Steam users, needed to wait another 20 hours just to play the game. 20 hours of waiting, trying to avoiding spoilers and your favorite streamers who play the game just not to    I'm leaving a bad review only based on the attitude that NRS and WB gave to the PC players.

That's all happening while we need to wait 20 hours. I'm not even touching the subject of two betas that were not available on PC, which is totally disrespectful towards PC players, and absence of classic characters, such as Milena, Ermac, Triborg, Reptile, and many-many more. We paid for the game that didn't even come out, we believed in you, and that's what we got back. A 20 hours gap.

    Shao khan has two words for those TROLLS .”YOU SUCK”...the game is fire!...every game has micro transactions, if u want a free to play game head over to fortnite and apex that make billions off these kind of transactions, I don’t remeber the last game with free DLC/MT unless it was a silly update. The reason why the game doesn’t get a 10 in my book is because of the long cut scenes during combos. This game cost money to make. 59.99 is 2-3 skins in a game like fortnite . People don’t know how to rate games now a days. You guys just aren’t that good at it. But cmon ratings like 0 and 1 lol you guys are too much. Don’t ruin it for the true MK fans because of “OPTIONAL” micro transactions. U have enough in the base game to leave all that alone. Unless your really that good and what to train with every character which I doubt. Pick a main character find their BREAD AND BUTTER combos and slay out, guaranteed you’d love the game.     A lot of fan favourites are missing (Mileena, Rain, Sindel, Smoke...). The story is abysmal, makes no sense at all and effectively destroys the entire lore of the last 27 years. Also pushing you personal political agenda with certain tower endings is just disgusting. The developers lied about certain aspects (all characters in the story will be playable, there will be unlockable characters, they will listen to the fans and include all the fan favourites...)

    Most importantly however: The developers showed how much they disrespect/hate one of the biggest fan favourites (Mileena) and her fanbase. They didn't include her in the game and mocked/ridiculed her fans for telling NRS how much they want their favourite to be a part of the new installment.

    Don't buy games from developers who lie to you, mock/ridicule their own fanbase and put wokeness above character consistency.    … Expand

    This mortal combat is still tons of fun. Realistic graphics, top-notch body and facial animations, extremely inventive violence and perfect sound effects. Ed Boon and Co. still make the best fighting games in town.

    A refreshing addition to the series, with beautiful graphics and excellent combat, yet plagued with microtransactions that force you to choose between grinding or paying, as well as lackluster RNG systems.
