    Overall I’m thrilled with the game, there are settings that make it easy to just pick up and have an easy fight… or you can ramp up the difficulty and really challenge yourself to become the best fighter you can. Highly recommended for old fans and new fans alike!

    Despite a convoluted story filled with silly retcons and nonsense, it's still fun to play through to see the (for now) official ending to the original Mortal Kombat story. With 12 additional characters and tons of skins, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is absolutely worth a buy for those who have yet to check out MK11. The new characters are still great additions to the roster for those who have experienced all the content since the beginning.

    MK11 isn't just a sequel for series fans and NetherRealm devotees, it's a gateway into the realm of fighting games for anyone who has a passing interest in watching ruthless warriors beat each other silly. Streamlined mechanics keep the act of fighting furiously exciting no matter what your skill level, and comprehensive tutorials encourage you to dig into the nitty-gritty. There's a diverse roster of interesting characters and playstyles, and the story mode is an entertaining romp. The randomization of Krypt rewards and the odd issue with the game's always-online nature can occasionally chip away at your patience, but Mortal Kombat 11 absolutely hits where it matters.

    Mortal Kombat 11 is a success in every way. NetherRealm takes risks and it pays off. Its gargantuan content, its racy gameplay daring to profoundly change certain historical mechanics, its technical mastery and its sparkling achievement make this Mortal Kombat an example to follow.

    Although the most perfect MK to date, there are other things that are not as awesome. I wish it was not such a tiresome grind to unlock the excellent extras, such as skins and shifts to character balance. I also wish there were more of the MK characters as opposed to non MK characters. I prefer ermac, smoke or reptile to the 80s action movies characters. They look simply awful. Their costumes are so different (in extremely bad way) that you can hardly understand what character it's supposed to be. They are basically completely new characters now who have nothing in common with female characters from MK9 and even MK10, only similarity is their name, that's it. Extremely disappointing, pointless game. Only character who truly looks great is Noob Saibot. Scorpion was okay at best. Everyone else was just awful. One of the main things in fighting games in general are character looks/costumes. That's the first things that makes you choose a character. If characters looks awful, then you obviously wont choose them, because who wants to play with awful looking character.… Full Review »
