Aug 10, 2018- **** DRM / Denuvo
- Badly optimized
- 1080ti runs at 40-50 FPS
- No inherit controller support, relies on steam API for controller support which doesn't work. And yes, I did use the steam checkbox for controllers.
Happy to change my review when all these issues have been fixed, but right now the game is not at an acceptable level. -
Aug 10, 2018There is simply no better game. Best monster hunter game in the franchise so far.
-IT is ON PC (finally)
-huge collections of weapons to master
-still a challenging game with 500+ hours into the franchise -

Aug 10, 2018Monster Hunter finally on PC. The game is awesome so far and no technical issues whatsoever. I5 4690@4.5ghz, 16gb, 1070ti. Game runs between 70 and 150 fps if unlocked. Great for gsync.
The game itself is Monster Hunter with a bunch of QoL changes compared to previous titles. Best game to get into the franchise. -

Dec 19, 2018Monster Hunter World is a solid title that will soak up a lot of time if you enjoy beautiful graphics, hunting beautiful, dangerous and unique creatures, and crafting buttloads of weapons and gear.

Oct 6, 2018Monster Hunter: World offers unique gameplay of high quality. However, the whole package could have been an order of magnitude superior if it included a properly designed online party system and the port from consoles was better taken care of. But even like this, MH:W is worth every penny it asks.

Sep 17, 2018Monster Hunter: World still has all the complexity expected from this series, but it dishes it out in much more palatable chunks than usual. It's still got a frightening amount of depth, but it feels manageable in a way that few in the series have pulled off before. Players may still feel a little lost from time to time, but a little guidance from series vets or other friends can drastically reduce the growing pains new players will likely experience. On top of all that, this is one of the best-feeling titles the series has had to date; so saddle up with some friends, and explore all the New World has to offer.
