    What happened to Metro....
    First of all they released on the Epic Launcher which has VERY SHADY PRIVACY POLICIES.
    To top it all off, the Developer stated "If you don't like it, we wont make PC games anymore"
    Jeez... 1/10.

    So disappointed with this game as it hasn't really moved on from the previous 2. The game has so many bugs/glitches and combat is way too easy to kill humans and pointless to kill mutants/monsters etc. The open world offers nothing new and the side missions are just pointless. I really wanted to like this game as I heard it could be FPS of the year! Really...... that just says to me thatSo disappointed with this game as it hasn't really moved on from the previous 2.     The graphics are...OK... when they work.
    This game freezes quite often...sometimes the screen freezes... sometimes the sound stops....sometimes both. Unacceptable.
    Also...you aim at enemies and then shoot and you may produce no damage, even with head shots. With RTX you do not get any better quality of anything. Your shadow is artificial and simple. In older games like The Division 1    The graphics are...OK... when they work.

    Game is okay and enjoying the story so far but so many issues with the EPIC launcher and crashing. I think this will be my last Epic Games purchased title.

    Ужас просто и неуважение к геймерам особенно тем что за 25+, играть в устаревшую геймплейную помойку в 2019 это регресс. В игре ничего нет, камера с оружием и все, пустые локации и дешевое подобие сюжета.     I was disappointed with this game. It is even worse than the previous parts.
    Disgusting animation.
    Bugs, bugs, bugs everywhere.
    Copy-paste levels.
    Stupid plot, idiot characters.
    But the magnificent work of three-dimensional artists.

    This game has a good story it seems and mechanics but the optimization for this game is so pisspoor its laughable. i cant even get a consistent 60 fps on a high end PC. Crashes are a big issue as well with it crashing in the caspian area every 5 minutes. its been a whole year and they havent fixed anything for shame!

    Сейчас Metro Exodus находится не в самом лучшем техническом состоянии. Для того, чтобы без проблем проходить задания, не «убивать» скрипты и не падать под текстуры, просто не прыгайте.
    Metro Exodus не стесняется использовать устаревшие геймдизайнерские решения.
    Metro Exodus – это чистейший воды огромный коридор с пустыми полуоткрытыми локациями.    Сейчас Metro Exodus находится не в самом лучшем техническом состоянии. Для того, чтобы без проблем проходить задания, не «убивать» скрипты и не падать под текстуры, просто не прыгайте.

    More than TWO YEARS on and this game is still so bug ridden that for me it's now functionally unplayable. The game has currently auto-saved my progress between an invisible wall and a QTE that refuses to trigger because the NPC required for is stuck on a ledge above and refuses to drop down. The only available option is to restart the chapter (losing hours of progress) but doing so LOSESMore than TWO YEARS on and this game is still so bug ridden that for me it's now functionally unplayable. The only available option is to restart the chapter (losing hours of progress) but doing so LOSES ALL CHARACTER DIALOGUE.     Other than some of the early RE ports, this has to be one of the worst console ports I've ever played. Not even referring to Epic's involvement, it's just a BAD port. Not worth it even on heavy discount - stay far away if you value your money at all.

    2. Not as cinematic as the previous games due to more open world content
    3. Exclusive to the Epic Game Store for at least a year

    The game is a bitter disappointment. The first bug I encountered was the black screen bug in Two Colonels. Wasted a couple of hours trying to discover a solution. Finally found a user fix that worked. Where the hell was the developer fix.

    Next bug I encountered was the inability to fire my gun, which happened to be the shotgun. I never found a fix. It's 2021, almost 2022. Where    The game is a bitter disappointment.     No reviews, no forums, no cloud saves, no achievements, no trading cards, no nothing that makes a platform worth playing on.

    I had big hype for this game. It actually is quite beautiful and I can see all the hours that were put into making it. However all of this hard work and dedication is overshadowed by the terrible launcher I have to use. The Epic store client keeps crashing so I can't play. Wouldn't have had that problem on steam now would I?

    A downgrade in every conceivable way from the previous games. Not to mention it’s been optimized by amateur programmers. 1 year after release and it’s still filled with bugs and abysmal performance. Hard pass.

    You failed on the most basic level, which is that I could not even launch the game on my PC as there is a problem with the "Metro Exodus Executable" file which stops working - making me unable me to even launch the game.     Ужасно всё, начиная от графы, заканчивая диалогами... нудными муторными, русский перевод стоит отдельно упомянуть "на отстань".

    1. Графоний - его.. НЕТ, если выкрутить всё на ультра настройки - то какое то дикое мыло начинается, аж глаза слизятся, по приколу скачал alien colonial marines 2013 года- дак там графон лучше... и приятнее глазу. 2.     4. Сюжет - не знаю, не отважился играть дольше 20 минут
    5. Оптимизация - ну как то тоже с ней не очень (i5-8600 на 6 ядер 12 потоков, RTX 2070, 16GGB DDR4, SSD) - с выключеными "лучиками" и Экстрим настройками фпс проседает даже в начальной закрытой локации, на Ультре стабильно 60+ фпс.    … Expand

    You have to own certain software before you can buy this software. Proprietary garbage. I still downloaded the software and gave away my information to yet another online entity, and the game is average at best. Now I get a lot more fake calls on my cell phone and junk in my email.

    The Epic store is terrible software. It's about what you would get if you had a bunch of monkeys typing random stuff into computers for a month and then hit compile. It has hardly any functionality at all, it looks like space trash, it has a metric ton of security issues and Epic are breaking European consumer laws with their email spam and shadow accounts.

    I consider the Epic launcher malware and since you have decided to tie your game to this malware, I decide to give it a bad review.    … Expand

    Metro has always been a very niche game series with poor storytelling, broken stealth and unsatisfying shooting mechanics, which are offset by original setting. The same is true for Exodus, although it also adds "pointless open world" to the pile. [Issue#236, p.28]
