Feb 27, 2019It's a good game but the publisher is very greedy (Denuvo DRM and Epic Stores). The game itself is fun but it's missing the atmosphear and the tension of the first game and it's a bit of short

Jul 5, 2023+ Awesome graphics
+ Weapons feel nice
+ Story is decent
- Open world is on rails (its barley open world)
- No RPG elements
- Decisions are limited, rare and feel non consequential
- Fairly short campaign, slightly abrupt ending
This game with steam mods will be a much better experience but $2 on WIndows Game Pass was a great deal. -

Feb 1, 2022A solid entry to the series, but for me it falls a little flat.
Feels like a chore at times, open world doesn't overall suit the series. Game seems to have a few bugs in the later chapters. Worth playing, but doesn't live up to the series previous entries. -
Mar 10, 2021I played this game only in 2021. I really liked semi-opened world what reminds me STALKER series.
The atmosphere is nice in Volga zone. But nothing else to say. -

May 2, 2020tense, great ambience, decent mechanics.
not in love with the shooting and the story sometimes a bit too kitschy. -
Aug 3, 2019Much of the of the potential of this series has been wasted. Don't misunderstand me, the graphics are great, the combat is intense... especially the desert level is extremely well designed. But the rest feels generic. You won't waste your money on this game, but don't expect too much.

Jul 19, 2019Metro Exodus stumbles frequently in the first half of the playthrough, but eventually gets better as it slowly returns to the series' linearity with the help of a magnificent soundtrack.

Aug 17, 2020Nice continuation of the metro series, however not as spectacular as i.e. 1st game. Graphics are definitely improved and world looks nice. Gun play could have been slightly better. Sometimes your shots dont register. From time to time an enemy doesnt shoot you from 3 meters but can headshot you easily from 50 meters. Game has some technical bugs however not game breaking.

Nov 5, 2019Digno sucesor, aunque no a la altura de los anteriores, imprescindible si eres fan de la saga, si no, si tienes game pass para pc, deberías jugarlo.

Sep 1, 2019What funny is on the walking and searching things on the open world map. I hate OWORLD game. This new style make me angry. You have no mini map, you have no more instruction.... just go and find what boss want... this is not game as I remember. This game is trash.

Apr 18, 2019Metro Exodus is a mishmash of borrowed ideas that falls short of creating a worthy sequel, while holding tight to the previous mistakes of the series.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Apr 4, 2019Metro Exodus is a funny, visually stunning shooter with a diverse environment and opponents and a great atmosphere. [Issue#293]

Game World Navigator MagazineMar 20, 2019Metro has always been a very niche game series with poor storytelling, broken stealth and unsatisfying shooting mechanics, which are offset by original setting. The same is true for Exodus, although it also adds "pointless open world" to the pile. [Issue#236, p.28]
