CD-ActionMar 4, 2015If you’re looking for a linear, cinematic experience, it’s not a game for you, but if you value freedom in approaching the challenge and find joy in tackling it in different ways to see what happens, Ground Zeroes is a must-have for you. Especially that the PC port’s quality is superb. [02/2015, p.67]

Dec 18, 2014A deep, entertaining stealth sandbox with endless scope for mastery. You kept us waiting, Kojima, but it was worth it.
-
Jan 20, 2015A pricey game when originally released on consoles, on PC it's a real steal. The main quest is pretty short, but the replay value is very high, and the game itself is a remarkable showcase for the FOX Engine.
-
Dec 22, 2014Yes, it's a prologue, but it's also a big surprise. Metal Gear shows its evolution with Ground Zeroes, a little, but a high quality experience.
-
Dec 18, 2014Ground Zeroes is the perfect opening for a much richer experience that Phantom Pain promises to offer. Ground Zeroes is intense, philosophical, dark, brutal, but full of hope at the same time.
-
Dec 23, 2014Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the PC version, is wonderfully optimized. But the game is really short.
-
Pelit (Finland)Mar 18, 2015Ground Zeroes is a technically competent PC version of an entertaining, but unsatisfyingly short commercial demo level for the upcoming Phantom Pain, which leaves you wanting the whole thing. [Feb 2015]
-
Jan 9, 2015MGS V: Ground Zeroes is not a large game, but it offers very pleasant (few) hours of fun to the stealth-action and techno-thriller admirers. Most of the PC gamers will be "lost in translation" with the story but nevertheless this game is still worth to try.
-
Jan 8, 2015As a prequel/demo for Metal Gear Solid V, Ground Zeroes is a pretty valuable product, finally sold at the right price.
-
Jan 4, 2015The PC version is technically perfect and it finally has the right price.
-
Dec 29, 2014While it may only take an hour or so to complete the main mission that acts as the prologue to the next game, the PC port of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes not only lives up to expectations, but surpasses them in creating an overly satisfying sandbox to sneak through.
-
Dec 29, 2014Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has brought its short, but sweet, experience to the PC in this brilliant port.
-
Dec 24, 2014Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is a short, but mechanically very sound, sandbox stealth appetiser for The Phantom Pain. Just be aware that its value is in experimentation and replaying scenarios, rather than lasting narrative.
-
Dec 22, 2014It’s a wonderfully crafted experience that looks and sounds fantastic. There’s been a lot of love given to this “demo” in ensuring it feels right at home next to the others in the franchise.
-
Dec 22, 2014Aside from its problematic ending, Ground Zeroes mostly represents a new, more sophisticated era for Metal Gear, particularly given its attention to what matters on PC.
-
Dec 30, 2014On the visual side, apart from some minor bugs and the lack of some graphics options that we would have expected, the result has fully convinced us. The Fox Engine is an excellent graphics engine that requires no ultra PC to be enjoyed at its best.
-
Jan 26, 2015It’s more a playable Demo than a full-flavored game. Gameplay itself offers much stealth-variety and a fantastic atmosphere with great graphics and sound. The replay-value is nice and let the player try various playstyles. It’s a good appetizer for upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Menus and are not optimized for pc, gamepad is recommended.
-
Jan 5, 2015Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PC didn't face a day one like Assassin's Creed Unity and other recent (and problematic) AAA games. The game is fluid, well optimized and free from serious bugs and glitches and, more importantly, does not require a super PC to be played in full HD with ultra details.
-
GameStarDec 19, 2014I would recommend Ground Zeroes without hesitation were it not for the extremely short playing time.
-
Dec 20, 2014PC players get to play the best version so far, even though the game still is just a slice of MGS V. Now it's up to you to decide whether it's worth playing right now or if you should wait until the whole experience is released.
