This is a simple RTS/RPG hybrid that just oozes charm. Its not groundbreaking by any means, but it is imminently playable and more importantly fun.
-
The pacing set for this release is one that I can maintain, and with the focus set more on laughs and fun instead of tactical brilliance, I can play this and not feel like I should be wearing a pointy, conical dunce-cap.
-
A lighthearted, charming blend of real-time strategy, tycoon-building, and role-playing elements that form a game that knows not to take itself too seriously.
-
Nothing about Medieval Conquest speaks of quality, and I thought the four mission campaign was repetitive and boring (although it did take 15-20 hours, if that makes a difference).
-
I found Medieval Conquest completely unplayable, a confusing mess of a game that beat my sensibilities as a gamer to a pulp. It's entirely possible that someone else more in tune with the wavelength of this title will have a ball with it.
